Being that a storm rolled through that previous weekend the roads from Bend down towards to OR/CA border were still icy and not ideal to be towing without trailer brakes. I had stopped in Crescent, OR at a repair shop that diagnosed the problem and referred me down to Frontier since they would not be able to get the needed parts for up to a day. I called ahead to Frontier and let them know my situation, I was not going to arrive until almost their closing time but they said come on down! Upon arrival they were prompt to rechecking the truck and trailer to confirm what was needed. They pulled both the truck and trailer into the shop and got them dialed-in in no time! I do most all of my own servicing and repairs on all of my vehicles so I was out of sorts letting someone else work on them, but between their honesty, knowledge, and person-ability they earned a customer that day. I was a little afraid of what the repairs might cost since I was genuinely at their mercy for making a safe trip home, but they were beyond fair and even went above and beyond to make some other adjustments and repairs on the trailer to ensure I got home safely. I do not recall everyone's names who helped out, but thank you again to the whole team there at Frontier Trailer Sales & Service! Whenever I am in the neighborhood next and in need of anything, I will not think twice about coming back.

In April 2021, I just happened to land somehow on the page of Klamath Falls Toyota. A dealership a…read moregood 8 hour drive away from me in the Bay. The wife always regretted me selling the 4Runner and wanted a replacement for it. To my surprise, this dealer had a TRD Off Road for about $38k, a decent discount off of MSRP. The TRD OR is probably the most popular model, and was shocked they discounted this without any hassle. And it was in a dark gray that I liked. I emailed them and someone promptly called me back. We discussed the situation and they allowed me to purchase the truck from California. They do it all the time since they're right at the border. I contracted with a car transport broker and the dealership handled the logistics from there. Fairly easy transaction. A few hiccups with paperwork and a headache at the local DMV. But, it was still worth it at the end of the day. Fast forward to the madness of late 2021 early 2022. I can sell this puppy for over $5k more than I paid. How crazy!

I initially spoke to whom I believe was Chris on the phone and explained my needs and my frustration with the local dealer. He was not only understanding, but patiently answered all my questions and was very professional. I was already so impressed with his helpfulness that I thought to myself "this is too good to be true." On the day of my service I was greeted by Daniel. He too was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and patient. He treated me and my dog like family, and listened to my needs and explained everything in great detail. They took my car right in, performed the service, and addressed an ongoing concern I had with the brake system. Everything was perfect! Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, and seemed to truly care about me and my car. The dealership, service area, and customer lounge are clean and comfortable. For the first time since buying my Subaru I truly felt taken care of and heard. They have restored my faith in Subaru. Although I am driving from Ashland, it is well worth the extra time and miles. Such service is rare these days, therefore I truly appreciate these guys. I am looking forward to many years of business with klamath Falls Subaru, and when the time comes I will definitely buy my next Subaru from them. Thank you Klamath Falls Subaru for being so awesome!

My call was not returned. When I made a personal visit, I met with the sales manager, who was genuinely concerned about the experience I had. He was a little upset that some items slipped through their regular inspection routines before going out the door and was asking why I didn't bring the car back. At about the time I was explaining that I had in fact called, the salesman that took my call stopped by his desk and told him I had indeed called, and that my call was forwarded to the service department but again, there was a breakdown in communications. The sales manager immediately ordered a loaner brought up to the office (brand new) and insisted I leave my car with them. This dealer proceeded to not only fix my complaints, but found other items needing a little attention and made ALL repairs at NO CHARGE, and even threw in a car wash. I am now convinced their intent was pure, they don't want something going out the door if it ain't right. One other thing.....the service writers get 5 stars, especially Daniel. He was very patient with this crusty old man, and a big thank you to Neil, the sales manager. I'll be back when we wear out the one we got.
