I called Courtesy for a second opinion for a blocked pipe, I told them I needed it scoped and then hopefully cleaned out. They agreed to check it out. They sent someone out to scope it and told me that they can't clean the pipe because they don't have the right equipment. Then they sent me a bill for $550. It turns out they don't scope pipes and they don't clean obstructed pipes, they contracted a different company to scope it for them. Why would they agree to do a job that they don't do? The obscene price is probably just jacking up the cost because I'm in Scottsdale, but they obviously should have never accepted the job in the first place. Save your money and try to find a plumber that won't screw you over. I found one that did a scope for me FOR FREE and has the equipment to actually clean the pipes. Thank god you can still find an honest plumber with a little bit of luck. read more

I have used Courtesy Plumbing one time prior to this last time. That time the service and price was good. I had a problem with a small drip on a outdoor hose Bibb so called them again. Two guys came out...Dan and another person I don't recall his name. Being s widow, I don't know a thing about plumbing issues. They looked at the outdoor faucet and when I asked how much, they said $275. Even dumb me knew that was ridiculous. I said I wouldn't pay that so we settled for $250. It took them a grand total of 15 minutes to fix the hose bib. Since I was very upset with them, I got a reduced price of $246 and a calendar...Crazy!! I called Courtesy Plumbing to tell them how unhappy I was for 15 minutes worth of work! Jake did reimbursement me $25 and said they should not have quoted me a price so quickly. They charge $150 per hour or $250 per job. Had I not complained about $275 they would have charged me that much. Next time I will be much smarter and check around. My neighbor said I should have called him cuz all they really needed to do was change the washer. Should have been a $150 job not $246 and a calendar. Oh, I did get $25 back...never again! read more

I was very disappointed. I had asked for a quote to put in a faucet in my main bathroom. The tech was already here doing work on our toilet. I had bought a new faucet and asked how much and he said $150 for labor and then the parts. When it was done he charged me $ 304 . What a disappointment. Make sure you get a up front charge from them. I will never use them again. read more

I have used other plumbing companies over the years. When I first used Courtesy Plumbing I had never seen higher quality plumbers ever! I always get Dan and Ryan. They re-routed my water lines through my attic, when I had the copper line under my concrete slab break. I thought they'd have to bust up my floor., No, they did it the best way. Courtesy gets an F rating from me. This company took advantage of my trust; it seems to me that the total charge of $535.95 for 4 drains is excessive and their 1/2 lb container of Bio-Cleaner at $48.50 is way too high. It doesn't matter that they have an A+ rating with bbb.org or if their repair men are good. They cannot be trusted to give people a fair shake and that makes them a bad company and I will never call Courtesy Plumbing again. read more

I had a recurring blockage in a branch sewer line in our 50 year old home. Dan and Jake used their camera to locate the problem which was a ball of roots in the line. Then they "rooted" the line at the blockage and beyond. A followup camera inspection showed that the root ball was 90% or more removed. They then applied Root X to help kill off the remaining roots and inhibit future growth. They explained to me what they were doing and showed me the results with the camera inspection. They were courteous, polite, thoughtful and neat. Both gentleman were just that...gentlemen. I recommend this company completely. read more
