The event included food trucks and a variety of vendors. My friend and I grabbed some BBQ from S&J Catering and it was delicious. We also grabbed donuts from Klassic Donuts and Glazed & Infuzed as well, which were very tasty. As we walked through the different shops, I absolutely loved all the fresh local, produce that was available. One of the shops offered a variety of jarred items and sauces so I purchased Crab Salsa and Spicy Pickled Okra. Both were very good and I definitely need to go back and get more! I asked if they'd give me $5 off. An older woman, possibly the manager or owner, didn't look up at all from her paperwork, and gave me a flat NO. I get that they're one of only a few businesses at the beach, so there's an issue of supply and demand. But does it cost them anything to be nice? I don't plan to go back.

In case you aren't familiar this is a beach and surfer store with several locations around Hampton roads.
