The store's walk up in front and back has been clean and neat. The business is situated on a short strip with a couple other businesses. I love the 60's retro feel of the building. Lemon carries home decor, ladies beach fashion, books and lots of unique items that you can't easily find else where. They are well known for a fantastic selection of costume jewelry. The store may be smallish, but it's packed with goodies. The feel is fresh, bright and service immediately welcoming. The inventory was depleted as a shipment is due in soon. Chic instructed us to follow their Instagram page which would announce the arrival of the shipment. I was able to explore a bit more this past weekend while in the area and spoke with the friendly owner of this shop who was very personable and friendly. We're driving down Route 13 toward Jersey, and I see signs for various gift shops that sell ham,…read morebacon, cigarettes AND fireworks. No way. My boyfriend grudgingly stops here, but stays in the car. I, on the other hand, gleefully jump out and head on in. To my delight, there are three couples walking around the gift shop. One couple starts perusing the huge selection of fireworks. The other two couples hovered over the bags of cured bacon sold by the pound (pre-packaged). Intrigued, I too, hover on over to hear what the nice store lady had to say. Seems like this bacon is a big hit in the area. Two couples each walked out with 5-6 bags of it. The other couple and I purchase one (mine was 1.15 lbs for around $10). Looking forward to tossing some of it with pasta, and enjoying it with eggs for breakfast. Oh, and I got a 20 fl. oz. bottle of diet coke for a buck. Woohoo!! Note: this ain't no fancy gift shop. This is just a fun road side joint selling items from bacon to fireworks (to belly lint brushes). Enjoy!

Surface parking is plentiful and you can pull up directly in front of the store. The lot and walk up tidy. Longtime owner Susan greeted me while shopping for a gift item. They are open every Saturday 9-noon (May-Oct) and every 3rd Saturday 9-noon (Nov-April). This is also a pet friendly market. Parking is street parking or there is a small free parking lot nearby. Old Beach farmers market has over 30 vendors each weekend. You can find fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, seafood, flowers, cheese, mushrooms, sauces, baked goods, tea and much more. You can even find a food truck. Some of my favorite Vendors are: Capstone Mushrooms, they always have a great selection of Oyster mushrooms (blue, pink, gold, king) , beech, Chestnut, lions Mane and shiitake. They sell grow kits if you want to try your hand at growing your own as well as extracts and blends you can add to your soups, sauces or drinks. Life is Gouda, they sell a variety of cheese based spreads. My favorite is the smoked gouda. It goes great with crackers, celery and carrots, a must try! Cromwell's Produce & Fritillary farm is my go to for fresh produce. This market does have a few produce vendors to choose from but I frequent these two the most. They always have fresh greens and fruits that are in season. Nick B's Chimichurri sells absolutely the best chimichurri sauce. It has a long shelf life and doesn't need to be refrigerated. This Sauce goes great on everything, steak, chicken, fish, lamb, even a chip. I find the prices to be very reasonable and comparable to the large chains. Definitely recommend stopping by and supporting small business and local farmers.
