It was basic. Nothing special. But clean. It had very comfy beds and pillows. There were a few signs of wear around the facility: a cracked light switch; a shower curtain rod that needs to be repaired... but nothing was dangerous or not in working order...just superficial issues The guy who worked the desk was exceptionally good at customer service--friendly and accommodating. The lady who works at the desk needs some major work on her interpersonal skills. She was kind of rude. So service wise it's a wash. The breakfast left much to be desired: the dining area is small--4 small tables with 4 small chairs at each one. It was necessary to wait a minute to get a table to sit at because the tables were all occupied. The food was also basic with limited selections: a make your own waffle iron, a crock pot of gravy, biscuits, plain or blueberry bagels, mini muffins, individually wrapped danishes, 4 types of cold cereal (generic raisin bran, cornflakes, generic fruit loops, and another kind I don't recall), apples, hard boiled eggs, peach/blueberry/or strawberry yogurt, apple/or orange juice, coffee, and milk. Overall, it was decent. I'd stay there again. If you're looking to sleep somewhere it's a great option that doesn't feel skeevy like a Motel 6 or Super 8. But if you want a high end luxury experience, this isn't it. I think it's about the level of a Quality Inn. I'd give it a 3.5, but since we can't give 1/2 stars with yelp I'll say 4 read more

Very comfortable beds, pillows, and friendly staff. We were checked in promptly. The room was big and roomy. The lobby entrance smelled of heavy smoke. The coffee maker in our room didn't work. Housekeeping came knocking very early at 8:30-9:00 a.m. to request cleaning rooms and we weren't even dressed yet. read more

So far the best place on our trip ! We decided to stop early because we were tired and our preferable hotel was full. Sometimes non chain hotels leave a lot to be desired but this one hit the jackpot ! Beds - super comfy. Usually an edge is broken down but not last night ! Pillows - an assortment that were fluffy to flat depending on your preference . Pool was a comfortable temp and clean. I read other reviews and someone had vacuumed under everything and no sticky cup spots anywhere ! Thanks for a great nights sleep at an affordable price !! read more

On my way to Colorado, I stopped for the night in Lincoln, NE. I used an online booking site to make my reservation. I was pleasantly surprised to find the lobby in good condition and the person that checked me in was quite knowledgeable and definitely in charge. When she finished with the person in front of me, she asked me what she could do for me. I checked in without issue. My room was in good shape but there was the always faint smell of poorly covered up smoke in the non-smoking room. I was given the room above the pool (I find that my on-line bookings gets lower room choice priority over retail bookings). There were several kids playing in the pool at 9:45 pm. I thought, no problem, the hotel pools usually close at 10:00. I took a walk around the building and went to the pool. It's open until 11:00! No problem, I can deal with going to bed at 11:00. I noticed that one of the back doors was not latched, creating a security concern. The door was badly damaged and would not latch no matter how hard I tried to pull it closed. It needs to be replaced. I went back to the check in counter and told the person that checked me in about the door not latching. She assured me that it was not a security issues. She told me that this is a safe neighborhood and nothing has happened in her 7 years at the hotel. She also said that the door was on the maintenance work list to be repaired by an outside contractor since their maintenance person couldn't fix it. In addition, she told me that she monitors the cameras all the time to be sure no one gets in, that shouldn't be there. I gave it 4 stars since the cost was low, accommodations were acceptable and I can sleep almost anywhere for one night. We'll see how I feel about it in the morning. read more

Got in to hotel at midnight after a vehicle breakdown on I80 and was treated very nicely. Room with king bed was clean and large. Staff were very helpful and understanding. Only complaint is parking while pulling a trailer is tough in a smallish lot. Really good for the price. read more

Over all, the hotel is pretty nice for the price. The room had a lot of space in it, which was nice for me and my dog. However, as I'm sitting on the floor playing with my dog, under the dresser drawers where a bunch of old food, I.e. Cereal, candy, ect...it was pretty gross. Does staff not clean under this? Overall, decent hotel, comfy bed, and I love that there's an over head fan in my room. Oh, one more thing, the pillows here are absolutely terrible! Do not stay here. I repeat, do NOT stay here. This visit was a doomed from the start and it was only bound to get worse. Arriving at 1:00a.m. after driving all night with my girlfriend, we had to wait for the front deal clerk to finish her laundry before she would attend to us. Sure, why not? I've got all morning. No problem. The following night was spent arguing with a different front desk clerk because our room was infested with ants. Not only were we told they have an Exterminator out every week to treat rooms 115 and 117, they still rent out these two rooms knowing they have this issue. Yuck. Finally after dealing with this crazy lady who claimed to have worked for pest control (who moonlights as a hotel clerk), we got our refund. So glad that it's 10:00p.m. and we now have to find a new hotel. read more

Was driving across the country and Lincoln was the stop for the night. Used booking.com app and this was very highly rated and definitely had the best price at 60 a night. Stayed in a king suite which had a mini fridge, microwave, and a separate sitting area with a couch. Breakfast was included but a bit meager, but I don't eat breakfast when I'm driving across the country anyway. I stayed on the second floor and there wasn't an elevator for those who might need one. Right off of I-80, and several places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. read more

Two days later Chase Fraud services notified me of unauthorized charges on that card. I had not used that card in six months, so someone there is stealing Credit card numbers. read more

I ABSOLUTELY HATED THE COUNTRYSIDE SUITES WHAT A SCAM!! The place is already sketchy enough as it is. I should of known from the weird vibes I felt as soon as I pulled up at they gave me a discount for the first night. The rooms are pretty big, I got a two bed for my family and I. The room was either very hot at night or cold and the pool is pretty frikin tiny. It got worse the second night. I was spending a long, eventful day with my family down in Lincoln and got back to an uncleaned room. THE HOUSE MAIDS DID NOT DUE THEIR FRIKIN JOB!! How hard is that?! To do your job!?? One of the maids came down to take my dirty towels to replace them with clean ones and I quote you not she said, "this is the seventh time I've had these complaints today". WTF?!?!!!?!!!!! She was nice enough to discount that off my bill. I woke up early morning at about 6 am to the ice cold feeling my body felt, the room felt like Antarctica I'm not even kidding at this point. I went to go take a shower and there was no hot water. THEY HAD THE NERVE TO SELL ROOMS TO CUSTOMERS WITHOUT HOT FRIKIN WATER!!! IM SO ANGRY AT THIS POINT!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!! But you know what I did, I took a cold shower anyways, and you know what, I frikin hated it. So I went to go complaint and they said it was off since the night before and the maid that talked to me already took money off the bill. NO. WRONG. YOU'RE WRONG! The maid took money off my bill for the poor service with the housemaid cleaning, I was never informed that the water heater was not working. To conclude, I must say this was not to my enjoyment, and I recommend staying at the 'Hotel 6' right by it. DO NOT GO HERE IT IS A SCAM AND A WAISTE OF YOUR MONEY!!!! read more
