I was kicked out of Fruit Fair for going into diabetic shock. I was also told that I was "scaring"…read morethe customers. Nobody offered me any medical help & I was threatened with the poloce. Fruit Fair left me passed out in an aisle for 35 MINUTES! (I know the exact time bc Sam, the co-owner rubbed it in my face.) This is how Fruit Fair treats their customers with disabilities. There are public police records of this event taking place on 12/7/2023 if anyone thinks I'm making it up. (Simply go to the CPD to have the record printed.) I called the police myself right after Fruit Fair threatened me. I needed to tell my side of the story because this was a disgusting injustice. The police officer who came to my home was so kind & understanding! He & the 911 operator explained to me that there were absolutely no records of any 911 calls coming from Fruit Fair on 12/7/2023, so Fruit Fair also lied to me about calling the police on me. The police academy teaches cops that diabetic shocki mimics drunkenness, so he understood me. He even offered to go to Fruit Fair & educate them. He kept asking me if I was okay over & over again. Amazing officer! Fruit: There are fruit flies swarming the fruit, especially the tomatoes! They lay their eggs inside the fruit. You will be sick if you eat it. Deli: There is a CONSTANT swarm of flies at the deli & the deli workers are RUDE! Frozen Food: Their freezers constantly break down, then work again, which refreezes everything. They have boxes standing up, so when their freezer breaks, all the food thaws out, slides to the bottom, then refreezes. This malfunction also causes mold. The 3rd problem is freezer burn; Lots of it. Returning anything when Sam is around is a nightmare. She is a narcissist who believes she can do no wrong. (I pity her husband bc he seems like such a sweetheart!) Sam always gave me a huge problem when I returned food...She once followed me to the parking lot to question why I was returning food! Mice are an issue. I've seen 2. Please humanely trap them. Don't hurt them. I was kicked out of Fruit Fair for going into diabetic shock. I was also told that I was "scaring" the customers. Amazing officer! "Moderate hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) often makes people feel short-tempered, nervous, afraid, or confused. Your vision may blur. You could also feel unsteady or have trouble walking. Severe hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) can cause you to pass out. You could have seizures. It could even cause a coma or death." Source: MyHealth.Alberta.ca With diabetes, your body either doesn't make enough insulin or can't use it as well as it should. Diabetes is a chronic (long-lasting) health condition that affects how your body turns food into energy. Your body breaks down most of the food you eat into sugar (glucose) and releases it into your bloodstream. When your blood sugar goes up, it signals your pancreas to release insulin. Insulin acts like a key to let the blood sugar into your body's cells for use as energy. With diabetes, your body doesn't make enough insulin or can't use it as well as it should. When there isn't enough insulin or cells stop responding to insulin, too much blood sugar stays in your bloodstream. Over time, that can cause serious health problems, such as heart disease, vision loss, and kidney disease. There isn't a cure yet for diabetes, but losing weight, eating healthy food, and being active can really help. Other things you can do to help: Take medicine as prescribed. Get diabetes self-management education and support. Make and keep health care appointments. Diabetes by the Numbers About 38 million US adults have diabetes, and 1 in 5 of them don't know they have it. Diabetes is the eighth leading cause of death in the United States. Diabetes is the No. 1 cause of kidney failure, lower-limb amputations, and adult blindness. In the last 20 years, the number of adults diagnosed with diabetes has more than doubled. Source: CDC

Flavorful and moderately priced, it's definitely worth stopping in instead of wasting your money on fast food at a drive thru. But in my opinion, the thing that keeps me coming back time and time again is the absolutely out of this world floral styling talents of their florist Tammy! I have had custom bouquets arranged by her on multiple occasions and watching her work is like watching Picasso himself. I go in , select several (already available bouquets) explain my vision for my arrangement and she brings it to life every single time impeccably! Everyone I've gifted one of her arrangements to is absolutely blown away when I say they're from Fresh Acres and not a stand alone florist shop. Her attention to detail, her personable and professional demeanor, is what keeps me coming back time and time again. Much in the same way you can taste when a great meal has been made with love, I'd say the same about a bouquet from Tammy: you can see the love she has for her craft in the way she brings arrangements to life. Watching her put the finishing touches on my bouquets reminds me of on Say Yes to the Dress when they're doing the same, adding on the veil, jewelry, etc . My most recent arrangement was a custom 21st birthday bouquet I was gifting to a very good friend of mine (who's favorite color is blue) and she absolutely blew me away with how gorgeous it turned out!!! (I've included photos of this masterpiece) This woman deserves a raise and is an outstanding representation of all that great customer service should encompass !!!

This is just one example, they are definitely not for the customer and they watch you like a hawk in self checkout, telling you to remove the .99 tag on the bag you buy, or watching you closely on what your entering on the screen, bad vibes all around, and it's not all, their are some really nice people that work there, but I feel like Corporate instills this authoritative demeanor.
