This place was so much bigger than I'd thought it was! And they have an entire greenhouse for house plants! I was in love. The lady I spoke with gave me advice like we had been friends for 10 years. My husband was thrilled with the pepper plants he bought because ours (bought from another place) were not doing well, and he wanted to replace them. We got everything we wanted, and are planning another trip! I also visited Ted in the Brewery and walked away with the first growler of beer I'd ever purchased. Salt of the earth people and amazing products!

The shop is in an old bank. It's 111 years old!!!! It still has the vault! It's so pretty inside. They did a great job on it. Behind the store a lady plants sunflowers every year. Thousands of sunflowers bloom! She said people will stop and just aww at them because it's so many. They sell candles, soaps, clothing, decor and ice cream! They have a nice little area where you can buy scoops of ice cream. They even make fresh banana splits! This truly is a small business that has a story just by using that bank to give it new life. Not if but when I visit again! :-)

What a hidden gem, I will continue to support them whenever I am working in the area.

I am jealous of the locals that get to visit here every season. We left with a great variety of pumpkins. My son loved being able to feed/pet the goats. They had plenty of carts for your shopping. They also have a corn maze but we skipped that. You can pick your own pumpkins as well. There was so much to look at!

During a recent antiquing day with my mom, grandma and husband, we strolled our way along Columbia Street and popped in and out of the few shops. The Art Hub had a fresh energy about it. Growing up in Union City, I loved seeing how so many people I know are contributing their talents to the shop like honey from Mr. Root, pottery by Mrs.Boettger and baskets from South America via Linda DeHaven. We perused the shelves filled with alpaca apparel, jewelry, stationary, wooden furniture and more. In the end, we ended up purchasing a chair, basket, and ginger granola made in Indianapolis. I hope more and more people from Union City realize this business is here and help keep it thriving into the future. Cheers to those who made it possible.

The building housing the Antique Mall in "downtown" Union City (Columbia Street) is known as the "old Kirshbaum building." For those who crave a dose of nostalgia, it's like stepping in to a time capsule with the tin ceilings, old glass cases and beautiful wide, carpeted stairway. I most often turn to the Mall when I'm looking for something in particular, for instance, my white 1950s wooden dining room table or skeleton keys I once used to make earrings. However, if I just want to have a good hour of moseying fun, my legs will take me in. The sad thing, in my opinion, is that my neighbors and fellow Union City-ans don't realize how lucky we are to have this beautiful business in our town. I more often hear of people turning to Target and WalMart for their furniture than buying something that not only has character, but is equally as cheap (not to mention the reduce, reuse, recycle aspect;). Grateful to have this charming and beautiful business in my hometown - I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

Pretty much everything in here fit the country farmhouse type of decor and the pieces seemed really well built. I will probably look through here again sometime.
