I like that…read morethey have enough distance from the main parking area of the grocery so as not to impede access in and out of the fueling bays. There is a person in a small booth in the center of the bays for most of the day (except for the overnight shift). If you wish to pick up one of the propane tanks, buy ice, or rock salt that are stored there, you have to go to the booth to acquire those. Most of all, the pumps were in working condition and I was able to fill up without any delays. Review #3621

I stopped in on a Friday afternoon. The only signage said "Ralphs" and if not for an open garage door with a car inside, I would have thought it was out of business. A mechanic quickly pulled my car in, raised it up with the car running and determined two flex hoses on my exhaust were worn out. Instead of wanting to replace the whole exhaust, he said he'd cut the sections out and replace them. I walked down the street and ate at Popeyes chicken. When I got back, the car was sitting outside completed. The price was reasonable too. It was so quiet, I couldn't even tell it was running. I am very happy and I would go back to Ralphs.

I bought it and within a week ran over something, pot hole, railroad and broke the rotting Y pipe. The rear catalytic was also rotting out and a code said the manifold catalytic was bad. No, the dealership did not rig the car it was an under 3k minivan to be used as a slop car for my dogs among other things. Ralph's agreed with most of the previous repair place estimate but did not like welding pipe to the rear catalytic to save it. This minivan has 3 catalytic converters. The price at the other place was $2100 for Y pipe, manifold catalytic, oxygen sensor and welding pipe to the rear catalytic . It would also take more than a week to get parts and repair it. The price Ralph's quoted is to replace the Y pipe, replace the rear catalytic with the chance the manifold catalytic might be bad was 964. I asked will that seal up the exhaust and it would. I went with that option. They had it done in a couple days. I've driven it to work and back as a test and put about 50 miles on it. I've not had an issue so far. If it does fail I'm not as concerned as it's not leaking exhaust now. It's a lumbering boat but it runs quieter now and I've noticed it's slowly improving gas mileage.

The pumps usually are in good shape and the area around them stays clean and well lit. The only real negative I have about the place is that the paper for receipts often runs out (about every fourth fill up) and I am directed into the store to get a copy. I solved that by taking photos of my purchase amount, but it still seems like someone should be checking the machine routinely. There are only 4 pumps, so it was easy to maneuver in once I spotted their very competitive gas prices. I appreciate not having to dodge people at the larger stations. That being said, it had been a hot minute since I'd had to go through so many steps (enter zip, flip the nozzle up, etc.) to get gas. The pumps were a few years behind, but well worth the price. As I topped off, I couldn't help but notice a senior in front of me having difficulty, so I walked over and asked if I could assist him. He said his card wasn't being read, when in fact, he was having a hard time reading the digital lettering that danced by requesting his zip code. I'm glad I was there to help, because it didn't seem as if anyone inside noticed and the lettering was tricky to read as bright as it was. Nevertheless, nothing could kill my joy on this beautiful sunny Spring day, and having done a good deed made it seem even better!

But, if you are in a hurry, here are some tips to help you: 1. You can use a debit card, but if do, answer "NO" when it asks if it is a debit card. It can only process cards that the pump thinks are credit cards. It will save you a trip inside to the attendant who will tell you the same thing. 2. Some of the pumps don't give receipts, so you can use your phone to get an image of how much you used instead of having to go inside and having the attendant print you a receipt. 3. When using a card at the pump, it may take a long time to "authorize" since they don't have an internet connection other than via satellite, so on cloudy days, it may take nearly a minute (long enough for the attendant to see me standing there waiting and walk out to the pump to explain it.) Everything works, and the gas is just as good as any other, but you are dealing with an old station and the quirks that go with it. I will give credit to the attendant in the small shop (the sell tobacco, candy, ice, and gas for home grilling) for having a good attitude and being helpful to make the transaction less frustrating. There is a reason this gas is the best price in the area. Review #1987
