When I spotted this on Yelp, I was shocked. Outside of Lancaster County, PA, I didn't expect to…read moreever see these. However, something about the logo of the store reminded me of something else: QuikStop convenience stores in California and Kroger (and Ralphs?) filling stations in Ohio, Indiana, and wherever else they are. I'm guessing that Kroger operates all of the convenience stores in Pennsylvania that are labeled Turkey Hill. In any case, I got some TH Iced Tea with Lemon that I usually don't see. I'm really not sure that Kroger has the small bottles or not. This location didn't have half-gallon jugs of that flavor iced tea, unfortunately, although the Raspberry and Peach flavors were there. I'm not sure why they have the store at this location without a trail of stores all the way from Lancaster County, PA, but it was a welcome sight.

Kroger has sold this store to an independent company and they have made so many changes. Coffee quality is poor. Took away the ATM machine, eliminated a lot of their inventory that used to be available daily, hired new people that are not as friendly as the 'regular' people were. I am now looking for a different place to go every single day for coffee and a snack for my dog and fill up my gas tank once a week. Sorry, Turkey Hill, but you are letting a lot of people down. I guess it wont matter to you, though.

The price per gallon is always very nearly the same as my old go-to station. This location will only be a few blocks out of my way. It was not crowded at all here and hasn't been when I have gassed up in the past. But the good news is they have a full service convenience store available here. Plus there is a Noble Roman's Pizza inside this store as well. When you are on the go and have no time to stop for fast food even through a drive-thru, as I was today running errands then heading out for Plainfield for an eye doctor appointment, their already cooked individual pizzas sitting under the warmers were ideal. The pizza was pretty good considering it was made in advance. Better than a hot dog in my opinion. Restroom was out of order today, but that looked very temporary since is was a hand printed sign on the door. Oh yeah, they had the new Dr. Pepper Zero in the refrigerated drink cooler. I like the new zero much better than the old diet.

I started moving my prescriptions here in late November 2019. I have been more than satisfied with…read morethe customer service. It's a small shop and you see the same folks every day and I like that. The service seems more personal to me when you interact with the same people each time. I was feeling frustrated at my old pharmacy because of a lack of help with insurance issues (donut hole), long lines, and shortening hours. My current insurance company (one of the three available Medicare Advantage plans) partners with Walmart so my pricing is much lower; another bonus by shopping here. Yes, they have no drive thru but I was never a fan of the drive thru. I prefer to interact directly with staff and get to know everyone and vice versa. Plus I usually have other shopping to take care of inside the store. Beware they do close for lunch but if you're picking up other items, it is usually is not a problem. I have found the lines to be much shorter if there are lines, usually not, and the cashiers are much quicker checking me out than the larger chain pharmacies. It was easy to move my 11 prescriptions. I was able to time everything for my convenience. So after three months of using this pharmacy I am glad I switched.
