As a child we always stopped at the Colorado Gifts rest stop, which was chock full of trinkets and was super fun as a child. As I got older though, they never gave the place a facelift and it became a pretty sad sight. Nowadays I usually pick the one that looks the best from the outside and having had good luck at TAs across the country we decided on this one for our pitstop on the way home to KC over the summer. I have to say, in terms of other Travelcenters of America locations this one is a little average, if not a little below average in terms of cleanliness and overall modern appearance. It was fine, and fit the bill for what we needed, but it could use a bit of a facelift to meet the standards of similar locations I've visited across the USA.

The interior decor is unique. Oscar's is a Hollywood themed restaurant with lots of old movie memroberlia including some big, old movie cameras. Oscar's is definitely a hidden gem along I-70.
