    Cheesesteak omelette
    John P.

I was driving through and stopped here for breakfast. I ordered the "Philly Cheese Steak Omelette." The eggs were fluffy and there was plenty of filling which are all good things. I also had a side of sausage patties. The sausage tasted fine but was a sort of whitish color. The coffee was just okay but I am really picky about coffee. The server was very nice and friendly. My biggest gripe is that for a truck stop type of restaurant, the service was really slow. At this sort of place, you like to be in and out quickly. I was by myself and it took over an hour to get in and out. It really needs to be faster than that. The bottom line is that the food and service were okay but not great. I would come back here in a bind but if I am on the road and in a hurry, I would seek out another choice.

A travel center? Not really! Country Pride is nothing but a truck stop with a menu full of fattening foods having flavors akin to that of Peterbuilt airbrake linings being served to obese truck drivers. The food is cheap, both in quality and price, served big portion size in a sort of diner like atmosphere with dirty floors next to an adjacent truck supply/convenience store. With the fact being that it is situated in godforsaken Barkeyville, it may indeed rate Five Stars, as another review gave it but more than likely being in comparison to anything else Barkeyville has to offer.

    Fish basket. WTF!!!!
    Michael B.

This place is a joke. Soup is cold, salad bar is full of dried out salads and veggies. Finally my main course: I order the fish basket. Supposed to be 3 pieces of fish and fries. I didn't want fries and ordered the cottage cheese. Cottage cheese is ok. The Fish!- take a look. Instead if 3 pieces I get 1 piece cut into 3 pieces. What a joke. Waitress was ok but friendly. Not eating here again. Cool- go back to culinary school and finish that train

Steak & eggs with pancakes / fruit

Im not sure why this place is rated so low? What do you expect in a truck stop? The food is good and what other options do you have in Barkeyville... theres a burger king and arbys... people are ridiculous. If i had to compare this place to anywhere i would say its similar to an Ihop with a more country vibe to it. Food is good, food isn't expensive and servers are all very nice and attentive. If you're a trucker and dont feel like eating fast food, definitely a good and convenient alternative.

Nice and fresh salad bar with lots of good healthy choices. Also fresh hot soup. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and white gravy. Breading on the steak was much too salty but luckily the potatoes and gravy were not so it kind of balanced out. The meal came with the soup and salad bar. Hubby had the black bean soup and a flatbread with sauce and veggies that was a good size and again nice and fresh. We stopped for lunch so don't know about breakfast or dinner. Most other reviews are older so there may be new management. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for good home cooked country food!

Grilled chicken, eggs, ss up home fries, dry white toast.

Trucker restaurant so ambiance isn't going to be all that. But the food was decent and our server was a sweetheart.

With that said, I found the place extremely clean, the work crew was very courteous and out order was ready quickly. We dined in as to take a break from driving. I thought for sure they were going to just put more meat on the existing sandwich, but they proved me wrong. Brand new, fresh, sandwich. Zero complaints here.

In the addition, the air conditioning was very good and the dining room was spacious. The only big drawback here was the food preparation speed. It was a bit slow, but when the food came out it seemed to be prepared freshly and was very hot. This would normally be a negative trait, but considering the other food options around -- I'm happy to wait a little longer to avoid stale food. Portion sizes were fairly generous, but stick to the staple items like the roast beef, fries, and mozzarella sticks. The special items on the menu cost more and were really just minor variations on the core items (but weren't really that good). Overall, a solid Arby's location and a bit better than average for a fast food restaurant right off the highway.

Our server was Dustin (or Justin, we weren't sure) who was terrific (ask for him to wait on you, if you can!) I had the Italian Panini which was so yummy! Also the side dish of loaded mashed potatoes with gravy ..... They were just okay. It was quite a cold night, so 3 of us had nice hot cups of tea served in these quaint handmade mugs! And I had a glass of homemade root beer ..... ya can't go wrong! The prices are reasonable: my tea, root beer, and Italian Panini were $25. I think very moderate. Reservations are highly recommended. You can make one online for a party of up to 6. Larger groups must be reserved over the phone. Highly recommend and I would give it more than five stars if I could!

The whole thing was the most unique and best time I have ever experienced dining. The art decor, the music, the dish names, the staff, the pink tree house and frisbee golf outside, the random wu tang clan symbols. This is a memory I will never forget I wouldn't not recommend anything we got The Apps: The brie charcuterie board. That house made strawberry jalapeño jam. I wish they sold it by the jar. Naan bombs. Cajun perfection on the shrimp over the guac and pico with that balsamic glaze. Pork Cheek Tacos. FAT AS FUCK not skimping on filling with the meat. One of the best prepared meats I've ever had and arguably the best taco I've ever had DUCK FUCKING WONTONS. Wonton my ass it was more like a mini empanada but dear fucking lord. Bacon, duck and Swiss cheese stuffed in topped with a FRENCH ONION BROTH GLAZE. I want a party catered with just those. Absolutely stellar THE 32OZ RIBEYES First off $72 for it and it comes with three sides. 0% chance you're getting that from somewhere downtown under $100. AND no way you're getting it this fucking good. COOKED TO PERFECTION. Whatever rub is on that just call it the house crack. It nwas served over a bed of rosemary parm fries. The menu listed foods such as wings, crab cakes, salads, sandwiches, bowls, pierogies, tacos, chicken marsala, and salmon and drinks such as wines, cocktails, mocktails, sakes, and beers. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Duck Wontons - 4.5 stars - Wontons contained bacon, duck, onions, garlic, Swiss cheese, and French onion broth. Very flavorful. Deviled Eggs - 4.5 stars - The deviled eggs were filled with avocado, bacon, and tomato slaw. Shoot the Breeze - 4.5 stars - This entree consisted of a 14-ounce ribeye with chimichurri, pickled red onions, potato gnocchi, and garlic alfredo. The ribeye was juicy. The gnocchi were nicely cooked. Chicken and Ribs - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this special of chicken breast, St. Louis ribs, potatoes, and corn on the cob. He said that the grilling gave a better taste and that he enjoyed the Korean BBQ sauce. You're Doing Great - 4.5 stars - This mocktail contained non-alcholic orange aperitivo, lemonade, cherry, cucumber, and soda. The total price for these five menu items plus a soda and tax was $110, plus a tip. After our meal, my husband and I explored the outside. The waitress said that the Yeti father is named Osirus, the mother is Sasha, and they have two children. We also saw a treehouse, teepee, picnic tables, games, and woods.
