Chopped steak with gravy onions n mushrooms yummy
    Rene D.

Well we stopped for the day of driving here and to eat. We had the chopped steak with schrooms, onions n gravy x 2! Salad bar and soup included. Well the clam chowder was excellent and lots of clams. Not quite a creamy chowder but milky and good ! We love their salad bar cause big selection of fresh cut bitesize vegis. It was nice and full at 5pm too. Lots of toppings. Then our meal came just as we finished our salads. Oh boy did it look good and taste good. Guess we were hungry. We did salt the meat but that's to be expected. Our waitress was great and kept our dirty plates away. So thank you for the service and great food TA!! We came in next morning for breakfast and remembered that the server didn't give us our scratch tickets for our steaks!! Oh well the lady next morning apologized and gave us a 20% discount on our breakfast! Nice! Now today I could only eat oatmeal which is always good here with the crasins and fixings. And the boy I ordered steak 10oz for him with eggs. Omg they DO know how to cook a steak here! It was perfectly med rare!! I had two bites and it melted in my mouth!! Yummy. Now this MORN we got a scratch ticket ( free drink next time)! Thanx for a great dinner and breaky.

    Always breakfast time

The waitress Jennifer is so bubbly and friendly! My omelet was great, but the French toast was wonderful! The restaurant is clean.

I asked the waitress which was smaller the sopaipilla or the breakfast burrito? She said the sopaipilla. Holy moly. It was stuffed with thick bacon, hash browns, eggs and smothered in red and green salsa (they call it Christmas salsa). I ended up opening it and eating the inside because it was seriously enough for 2 people. Hubs had the Eye Opener. Two eggs, Christmas salsa, hash browns and bean, served with sopaipilla. He barely finished. The coffee was so good! Best place for breakfast in Gallup.

Saw a guy eating a sopapilla outside said it was good and there were several people outside waiting so we were like ok it's gonna be good. Ordered the Sopapilia covered in red sauce because it was a popular choice. Sadly, I was disappointed. I think it would have been good by itself no sauce. Just a sopapilla by itself. In sauce was too much. The red sauce did not taste homemade. If it is I'm sorry but it just wasn't my cup of tea. The kids drummettes were fried and tasty. Other than that it was just another diner. We did meet others who said they frequent but knowing true Mexican food, it's a no go for me. Service was ok. Ambiance Diner feel. We met a guy who said there was a cafe town the road that he preferred I don't remember the name but at least I know I'm not the only one who did not enjoy it. He was also from Cali so there you go. Sorry to disappoint. Good luck finding good eats. SYOY

Did this place exceed every and any expectation? Yes. We got two #1 vermicelli bowls with pork & egg rolls. Pork, seasoned to perfection, lettuce was fresh & elegantly sliced, nuoc cham (sauce) was plentiful & balanced. Egg rolls were just good. Portions were generous but not excessive - we gobbled them down like two wolves on a full moon. Service was great & quick - the waitress was nice & attentive with our water levels. The place was semi-busy, but at no point did we feel as if we were ignored. All in all, yes, Gallup NM, I do pho with you. 4.65/5 -Q&O

We found this restaurant on Yelp and ordered ahead since they closed at 5. Our order was not ready at the requested time, so we had to wait for them to finish it up. When the worker handed it to us, I asked if utensils were in the bags and he assured me they were. They were not. It makes it very difficult to eat pho in particular without the right utensils. We ordered: - Spam Musubi: not sure why they put the sauce on the side. The point of this dish is that the spam is cooked in the teriyaki sauce. - Spring rolls: these were very good. Probably the best thing we ordered. - Fried egg roll: also very good. Really liked the dipping sauce - Fried rice with spam: the spam was not cooked into the rice. It was thrown on the rice and was super dry, almost like they had deep fried it. The rice overall also had a weird flavor. - Pho with brisket: broth had a different flavor than we're used to, but it was flavorful. Veggies were fresh. - Honey soy butter chicken with rice: I didn't taste the honey or the soy, but it had good flavor. It was pretty greasy though. - Boba: Taro and milk tea were both pretty watered down and boba didn't have any flavor. They have a large seating area and had country music playing.

Then ordered the Coca-Cola cake to go (w the ice cream in a separate container). Server came back and said the manager "caught" her putting ice cream in a container & told her she couldn't give it to us, to go. Said that was "against the rules". And I couldn't have it to go. So even though I'm paying for the whole desert, I wasn't "allowed" to take it with me. I'M SORRY!!! WHAT!!?!?!?!!!! The server felt bad, so she "took the ice cream off of our bill". Well, ma'am... Miss "manager," have you ever had chocolate cake with NO ice cream???? Welp - that's like saying "you can't have syrup with your pancakes - butter with your roll- and apparently... HOT corn muffins with your meal!" So yeah, wasn't going to even give a review..... until the ice cream police told me not only were they not going to let have the ice cream....
