It was my first time at a Moe's and it went pretty well. This is a casual dining experience. You…read moreorder at the counter and they make your food while you go down the line. There are options to choose from - quesadilla, burrito, bowl, tacos, etc. All orders come with a side of chips and you select your salsa at their salsa station - yes I just said salsa station, that is pretty cool! I don't love building my own items so I wish they had a "base" to add or remove from, but I get the concept. I chose a bowl with rice, black beans, birria - new item, onions, peppers, cheese and sour cream. The bowl was HUGE! I didn't even finish half of it. It was good, but I didn't love the seasoning on the birria sadly... I also tried the chips- crispy and perfect - and all the salsas at the Salsa station. Sadly I didn't really care for any of the salsas, I think it's preference. The restauarant was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful and my experience was quick and casual. So overall I think it's a win. I don't love that the restrooms are directly in front of the entrance door, but not much can be done about that.

I was passing by the town so I did a pit stop for a quick to-go lunch. I liked it how they always…read moreannounce "Welcome to Moe's!". There were couple tables of customers and there are plenty of seats available. Bathroom was clean enough but could be better. Inside the store was also clean, the salsa counter was wiped down alright. I got a bowl of Adobo chicken and green sauce (don't remember how it is called lol) with half and half of both rice. The food tastes pretty good except for white rice that was not cooked. There were a lot of hard or undercooked rice in my bowl which was a bit disappointing. Staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. She even helped me look up for my account and informed me about some free redemptions. Their price is very reasonable as well.

Greasy fast food but tasty…read more Heading through Pennsylvania, had a few stops along the path and this place happens to be in route. We order online and I pull up to pick up our meal. Inside has a lot of cars everywhere, so it was very similar to pizza shop in my area. Very neat, but not in there for too long. We got cheese curds and wings. We were able to select all flats which is an awesome choice to make. The cheese curds were not traditional, where they are pressed into solid shapes and are "squeaky". Instead they don't press it and leave it loose. Which lead to a kinda airy cheese curds with a ton of cheesy flavor. Those were wonderful. The wings were perfectly cooked and the sauces had some heat but not too crazy. Good flavor, and ample portions. As a greasy spoon pit stop, it hits all the right notes. It's not glamorous eats, but they are good eats while on the road. Get wet naps, and give this place a try if you can.

There also wasn't much 'chipotle' flavor. There were so many wing sauces to choose from it was hard! I ended up with Thaisian & Haute Parm. Both were great & super flavorful, our waitress was really helpful when choosing sauces. The kids meals come in the cutest little paper cars! I love a place with a fun novelty theme.

From one manager to the next, this place did not survive. The wait staff is as friendly as ever,…read morebut the food is deplorable. The sweet and sour sauce was NEITHER, which...I mean it's just red glop at that point. The rice may as well have been fried rice for how dry it was. The bbq chicken sticks were just dry, red colored chicken that maybe someone sat next to a hoisin sauce jar, none of it made it on the chicken, though. Tasteless. And to top it off, we both have loose stomachs the day after. So...wow, 40 bucks then, huh? And why was it hotter than blazes in there?! Too cheap for basic AC? I mean even with regulation HVAC that should have at least made it so it wasn't as humid as a July day in early April. There is a 0% chance that kitchen is following the rules. I'm all for second chances but there is a consistently poor level of sanitation and food quality at this place, while prices keep going up. And while I can forgive bland, tasteless food, getting me sick? Now that requires an answer. It's time for a call to the health inspector.

They have a significant amount of seating for even a buffet, but takeout is also available. Stations include western food, a salad bar, Chinese food items, fried items, and two desert areas. The center station has Sushi and it's acceptable, but it's not a Sushi bar being freshly made like many buffets now offer. If dining here for dinner, they will often have a table setup for various seafood items. At least during lunch, I have not seen the hibachi area used in some time. Items that stand out include the Lo mein, which is better than at a lot of buffets I've dined at, and the Chicken and Broccoli is also quite good. Desert station has both fresh and canned fruits, puddings, cookies, and serve ice-cream. Beverages are Pepsi products. Overall, for the selection and price, Gourmet Buffet is a great option that I feel is underappreciated in our area.
