Ruby Tuesday was always our favorite restaurant in Buckhorn. Their salad bar was always fresh and appetizing with a variety of choices . This past Friday when we stopped in, most of the salad bar containers were empty. We waited a while until some of the food was replenished, but it was a limited selection. Also, they had no beer on tap. We are wondering if this restaurant is going to close soon. That booth seats are in major disrepair and the place looks shabby. What a disappointment. read more

Surprisingly good meal, service, salad bar for a chain restaurant! My husband had the honey bourbon chicken which he liked- only complaint was the size of the chicken. I had fish and chips, it was great all around. Food came out hot and fresh. We also added the endless garden bar to our meals for $5.99.. good selection of fresh salad items! Stopped on a Saturday dinner time and was pleasantly surprised at the number of folks here. All staff were super friendly and the service was quick and the food good! Great job at this location, and we'll be sure to stop back when traveling through. The building is tired and worn. In need of maintenance and upkeep, but clean and bustling when we were there. All other locations including the one in our area are really struggling and not only the ambiance but the service and food quality are dismal. What's wrong with that picture? The waitress stated it's their new policy from corporate. We are generally a party of at least three and have patronized Rubys at least 4-6 times a month. From here on out they have lost customers. We will find another place to patronize. I swear to god, what are they doing in there, they are back in the kitchen twiddling their fingers so they don't have to do their job, the food is nasty, the bacon shouldn't be soggy on my burger. The tables are sticky and it looks older than Joe Biden's childhood home. Took my family of 5 out for dinner. It's not a cheap trip and I don't take my kid's out often. I want to have a good time and enjoy our experience. This was not one of those trips. This was our first time going to this Ruby Tuesdays and it will be our last. We waited for at least 10 minutes until someone came to take our order. The waitress had to take our drink order three times in order to get it right. We sat for 40 minutes waiting for our drinks. When our food arrived they forgot one of my kid's meals. My husband ordered a steak. His steak was overcooked, baked potato was chewy, undercooked and flavorless. I ordered a cheeseburger. It was burnt on one side and red on the other side. It was falling apart in pieces. It was also flavorless. My son's meal that they forgot was a penne marinara. It was delivered well after everyone else was well into eating. We had to ask for it. The waitress had no clue we were missing a meal. son said it was really watered down and he complained the sauce had no flavor as well. He was disappointed as he loves spaghetti. My other son got chicken, fries and salad bar. The salad bar was stocked but very dirty with food all over the bar. Not a very large selection with what was available. My other son had butter noodles. I don't think you can mess up butter noodles ‍ The waitress didn't check on us. Didn't ask about our drinks or if we needed anything else. Service was terrible. What a dump!!! We waited a half hour for our waitress to come just to take drink orders. The place was empty and all the employees were on their phones and laptops! Drove from NJ to spend time with family in PA. We got hungry and decided to go to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. I am a vegan, sadly they did not have many vegan options. I ended up with grilled vegetables and a house salad. I was told the spinach dip was amazing. My daughter had the 6 ounce sirloin, asked for a baked potato but was given mashed (we got that corrected) and zucchini; she said it was all very good. My 3 year old grandson had pasta with marinara sauce and a side of broccoli, he enjoyed it. My niece enjoyed her chicken and pasta. We will go back however I do recommend more vegan options be added to the menu...vegans eat more than just salad. read more

Go to any of these chains and you know what you're getting. Ok food in a typical setting. But in his case - the service was excellent. We made a last minute reservation for a softball team and parents - prob 35-40 people. They could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Pretty disappointed with this restaurant! I placed an online order with them 3 hrs prior to pickup. When I arrive I had to wait in line to be waited on... which is fine. But they tell me they are out of baked potatoes which is what my side was. Ok....I offer to take broccoli. She yells it to the kitchen and I stand there another 5 mins meanwhile my ribs are sitting under a heat lamp the entire 13 mins I was there. I finally got fed up and said I just want to take my ribs. For a chain restaurant, the food is fine. What makes dining here better is that the staff is friendly and helpful. The salad bar has a good variety, tho salad bars in general are not good places for folks of a slightly germaphobic nature. I stay away from the greens and I sanitize my hands apres handling the utensils. I put my faith in the sneeze guard; it is large enough to protect the food from sneezes, and its also means you need the arms of a chimpanzee to reach the items in the back row. The salad bar items are tasty and fresh. There is a good balance of plain vegetables to salady things. And where else can you even find a Waldorf salad these days? The entrees, like the entrees at most chain restaurants, are uniform from one visit to the next because they arrive frozen at the restaurant and are heated and garnished for you. This isn't necessarily bad -- freezing is a good way of preserving food -- but you should be aware of what you are getting. I usually order a chicken dish. I like the baked potato side. I like the little garlicky cheesy biscuits. The staff is very good, and they work hard. You can usually find a coupon for your visit. read more

My family and I have come here several times in recent years. Unfortunately however every time we come here, the food is either overcooked (burnt) or undercooked (raw). In our most recent visit, our steak was over cooked and dry. When we complained to the "Manager" she basically shrugged her shoulders and asked if there was anything else I'd want. So I then ordered another entree. Low and behold that entree too was over cooked. Needless to say. We weren't satisfied whatsoever. The wine selection was ample but not exceptional (better than most chains though). My wife and I decided to eat here and it was her first time ever and my first time in like 10 years. It was about 4:30and raining outside on a Saturday and the fair was washed out, so it was not to busy! My wife ordered chicken and I ordered portabella mushroom steak! She loved her chicken with bacon and cheese and the mac and cheese was very stringy. My steak was supposed to be medium but ended up medium well. When they first brought it out I thought it was burnt and the mushrooms were almost black. It turned out to be kk and was not to bad, but just looked underwhelming. I might be spoiled going to places like Texas road house, but that steak needs to be something other than black! The service was good and hostess cleaned up every table when everyone cleared out. Had early dinner here. Easy to reach just off he I-80 Buckhorn exit, plenty of parking. Hostess seated us quickly, server was almost too attentive, fast. Food was good, filling. I tried a shandy from drink menu, quite good. It's nice to see a salad bar, and this one was well stocked. The only thing I didn't care for was the huge sneeze guard over the salad bar. It's probably required by regulation or something, and great if someone did sneeze, but unless you have very long arms, it's hard to reach items in the back row. I had the salad bar it was good! Being a vegan I was happy with the Good selection and the fact that everything was fresh and crisp. I gave it 2 stars because of the service we received. Our server was nice and helpful in the beginning. When she walked away I heard her and another server attempting to whisper about me and my food choice (oh not to forget the giggling). I've been here twice before in the past month with no complaints. But for a Sunday night past 6pm, this was not the best location to stop. Food was great. No problem there. Got seated in what I would consider the CHILLIEST place in the joint! Ordered our meals and drinks. We're ordered salads as sides. That usually comes out before the main meal. At least that was my experience the other two times I was here. Not this time. I barely saw the waiter from the time we sat down and ordered until the food came. The place was not super busy yet there were at least three tables that could have been bussed the entire time we were there. Not sure who the manager on duty was, but no one circulated the dining room to make sure we were getting good service. Thank goodness there was another couple seated in our area or who knows when we would've received our check. Took the keys to the car to get warmed up while my husband paid the bill. I'll give them another chance and hopefully this was a fluke but seriously guys, there's a Cracker Barrel a stone's throw away that doesn't need much convincing to get your business. read more
