We opted for the patio, which was perfect for a lovely summer evening. There are so many choices I. The menu it can get confusing. We had eaten a large lunch so I opted for the soup of the day, NE clam chowder. At first when I receive my salad, I was a little disappointed. It looked very plain. However, the lettuce was crisp and the dressing was so flavorful and it had the perfect amount of blue cheese. The soup was thick and tasty. Husband got the grouper with garlic and 18 year old got a chicken dish. Both were good. Each entree come with a side dish of your choice. I believe for the prices, they choy I'd come with two. Nice place (especially on the patio) but high prices for what you get.

With a history of being in business for more than 60 years and maintaining the same level of consistency and quality, this establishment truly deserves our business. Whitney was my waitress, and she took excellent care of me. Everything on the menu seemed so enticing that I had to request her assistance. The ambiance of the restaurant can be described as a cozy vibe, as it's dimly lit and gives off a warm, inviting aura. The music played in the background adds to the overall atmosphere, further enhancing the dining experience. Don't let me forget the friendly and cheerful people who frequently attend here. They add to the jovial atmosphere of the place. Now, let's talk about the food. The flavors of the dishes served here are simply delightful. The quality of ingredients used is evident in every bite, and the dishes are prepared with great care and attention to detail. When I say that I probably have 5 lb of pasta on my plate, I am not lying or exaggerating. The meatballs takes like a mix of veal or pork and beef - delicious. Meaty but not heavy. The pasta sauce was a little spicy but nothing mouth scorching. Again delicious. My friends got the grilled tilapia and there's probably three very large pieces of tilapia served with a lemon wedge and another side of angel hair pasta, again at least a pound of pasta in the side. They had the French onion soup, a hearty very beefy based soup with a giant slab of cheese on the top. My friends loved it. My other friends had the pork cutlet which was a hammered piece of pork lightly fried, and the size of a dinner plate served with a side of beef gravy, and also a side of angel hair pasta. Portions are ridiculous and I'm from the south I know huge portions. Lol If you come here though don't come in a hurry, as the staff is very busy. I didn't get her name but she was the only one working the floor. Efficient, direct and friendly. If you leave hungry it is your fault. Enjoy!

First, because I awoke deciding that I wanted some Sancocho. I'm giving them a 5- because I had the entire experience. It's a tropical root vegetable stew with beef. I was Making it with pork. I'm a rebel like that. Anyway, for a call from brother and his wife that they will be stopping by in two hours. TWO! So after shopping for tropical root veggies - Yucca, Malanga, Llame, Platano Verde, Malanga, Yautia, Patata, Platano Maduro, and calabasa. I picked up some Cilantro and some Culantro! CULANTRO! It's cilantro on steroids. It's specific. And O was looking for it in East Los Angeles and Orange County, CA - and did not find it for years if not decades. Anyway. They got it here!! Anything you need to cook anything Latino/Hispanic recipe - you'll find here. Anyway, I head home and it hits me. The smells I experienced while shopping were stuck in my head. Got home, picked up my mother and my brother and his wife, and headed back. We walked in to find some people start to enter the restaurant section. I will say with confidence they offer over 28 FULL PANS (Chafing dishes) and a few other things. I will not list them because I am going to guess that some items change. Everything was delicious. WAAAY too many to list! And the Tamarind Slushie...WTF!? Tasty!! My one criticism is that I wish the foods were HOTTER than they were. Most of the items - except for the Sancocho - were room temperature at best. (Turn up the heat folks!! Better safe than sorry.) Anyway, check this tropical grubbery and if you go on the weekends - enjoy the LIVE Music. I will definitely be back. The employees are friendly. There's plenty of parking. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! We'll be back soon too.

We were seated in a cozy back room with a fireplace. We started off with a couple Caesar salads to share, and it was honestly one of the best I've had. The croutons were so good I wanted to ask for a bag to go. We all got steaks for our entrees. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and super tender. The au poivre sauce wasn't our favorite, but the béarnaise and shallot butter were really good. For sides, we ordered the carrots, potatoes au gratin, mashed potatoes, and truffle fries. Sides are large and can definitely feed 2-3 people. Tbh, sides fell short compared to the steak. The potatoes were a little bland. The carrots were the favorite among the sides. Our server was amazing and even offered us a ride to Shenanigans, which was unexpected but so nice.

I ordered the broiled seafood which came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. I loved it. My husband got prime rib. It was fine just as he asked but it was only lukewarm. For dessert, I got the vanilla cake with brown butter bourbon sauce, which comes with vanilla ice cream. It was good but I wish it had more sauce on it. My husband got ice cream topped with amaretto and he got 3 full scoops of ice cream! I also got decaf coffee and she made a fresh pot for me, which I appreciated. We didn't see all the renovations that they did recently but we liked what we did see.
