We were seated in a cozy back room with a fireplace. We started off with a couple Caesar salads to share, and it was honestly one of the best I've had. The croutons were so good I wanted to ask for a bag to go. We all got steaks for our entrees. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and super tender. The au poivre sauce wasn't our favorite, but the béarnaise and shallot butter were really good. For sides, we ordered the carrots, potatoes au gratin, mashed potatoes, and truffle fries. Sides are large and can definitely feed 2-3 people. Tbh, sides fell short compared to the steak. The potatoes were a little bland. The carrots were the favorite among the sides. Our server was amazing and even offered us a ride to Shenanigans, which was unexpected but so nice.

I ordered the broiled seafood which came with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. I loved it. My husband got prime rib. It was fine just as he asked but it was only lukewarm. For dessert, I got the vanilla cake with brown butter bourbon sauce, which comes with vanilla ice cream. It was good but I wish it had more sauce on it. My husband got ice cream topped with amaretto and he got 3 full scoops of ice cream! I also got decaf coffee and she made a fresh pot for me, which I appreciated. We didn't see all the renovations that they did recently but we liked what we did see.

This is my kid's favorite 'fancy' place, so if it's not hibachi, we're here often; but don't let that fool your tastebuds. Quite possibly the best calamari this area has to offer (more than just breaded and fried, it's a nice shareable dish with roasted plum tomatoes, spinach, shaved parmesan, balsamic reduction and optional garlic aioli) and dare-I-say the ICONIC Orange Cognac salad. We did the Italian four course chef's dinner in February and rented an igloo for a friend's daughter's birthday earlier in the month. Both meals were excellent and we were able to order a variety of things to try since the chef's dinner offered some of their staple cocktails to pair, and the kiddos are adventurous in their food journey as well. Oh, great and friendly service as well; you can really settle in and get comfy here!

We arrived early and the place was pretty empty, had a drink at the bar and then went to our table outside. The mixed drink options were mediocre and weak. However, ambiance is great, relaxed and casual with a nice view of a small creek waterfall they have installed and fire pit. The service was also great, our server was attentive and witty. We started with clams which were large and we all had surf and turf which comes with sides and salad/soup. The lobster was sweet and delicious, served with filet mignon, mashed potatoes, and green bean/carrot mixture. The filet on the other hand was a bit over cooked per request and also had a smoked taste. The bill was steep with surf and turf being $65.. for a total of $400. Overall, I enjoyed although I agree with other reviews with the prices being a bit out of range for what you get.

Wow. The portions are enormous! I started w a side salad…read morewith the house dressing, a must!, served with warm rolls. I ordered the angel hair pasta with two meatballs. When I say that I probably have 5 lb of pasta on my plate, I am not lying or exaggerating. The meatballs takes like a mix of veal or pork and beef - delicious. Meaty but not heavy. The pasta sauce was a little spicy but nothing mouth scorching. Again delicious. My friends got the grilled tilapia and there's probably three very large pieces of tilapia served with a lemon wedge and another side of angel hair pasta, again at least a pound of pasta in the side. They had the French onion soup, a hearty very beefy based soup with a giant slab of cheese on the top. My friends loved it. My other friends had the pork cutlet which was a hammered piece of pork lightly fried, and the size of a dinner plate served with a side of beef gravy, and also a side of angel hair pasta. Portions are ridiculous and I'm from the south I know huge portions. Lol If you come here though don't come in a hurry, as the staff is very busy. I didn't get her name but she was the only one working the floor. Efficient, direct and friendly. If you leave hungry it is your fault. Enjoy!

Really would like to see this place succeed, though, as we need something different. Chef is reasonably good, waitress friendly, but someone, a manager or someone is botching. First - was there when one other couple was, another wanted to eat, but were turned away as they didn't have a reservation. I think if that were me, I wouldn't return. Second, just last night I went for what was my 5th visit in as many months. My entree - confit chicken - was a good effort, but missed. Wasn't that which would keep me away. I had two glasses of Riesling during the course of the evening. First - $8.50 a shot for each glass of Barefoot Riesling. I effectively pay for the bottle. Bill comes. 3 glasses. Everyone at the table agrees, they had 3 drinks, but I only had 2. Waitress is informed and says she'll take care of it. She is forced to return to the table bearing the 1.5 liter bottle of wine to tell me they opened it just for me (which explains why the featured wine was room temp at best - not chilled) and 3 glasses are missing. We dispute it (I mean, after all - part of what was missing was the wine at the neck and shoulder) and after maybe 15 min. they do grudgingly take care of it. On a previous visit, after I wrote my initial review and was hoping the restaurant would make a go of it, everything, while having a good flavor, was way over salted. We wonder if perhaps the chef who made such good things as squash risotto, has left? Sorry - it's things like that which will keep people away. I know it will be a long time before I go back. And I've talked to others who have had similar experiences recently

Ok. Cmon If ya ever seen "The Bear" on Hulu, that's the kind…read moreof service you get. If you don't know what the hell The Bear is I'll summarize... so blah blah blah it's a Chicago meat sandwich place that turns into a fine dining experience. There now ya don't gotta watch, though i recommend. All around us, "Happy anniversary you two," "Is it somebodies birthday?" It seemed like everyone was a regular. We sit down in the dimly candle lit dining room, get our water and warm bread with salted butter. We ordered our apps, calamari, carpaccio(which was on the chefs special menu), and mushrooms stuffed with crab meat. The carpaccio was the best on the table. They don't skimp out on ya, they cover the plate in the raw thin meat, yes even under the greens, PLEASE add more of the bread to the plate. We ended up stacking our last bread pieces with everything left. The calamari was quite chewy, though it had great "Asian zing"flavor. The stuffed mushrooms were swimming in a butter oil concoction. Don't recommend. Very heavy. Made the meat mushy. Our entrees arrived on "yes 500° plates" as our waiters stressed. The filet was a more rare medium than we requested, though good flavor. My ribeye was ordered medium rare and came out... not. It was medium well to well. Even though our meat wasn't cooked to our requests, each piece was tender. Yes even my ribeye. The crab cake entree came with 3 cakes. Better than the appetizer. There wasn't much love to the plate. I think Ruth wouldn't approve. No sauce, no nothing, just crab ice cream scooped onto the plate. Our sides, creamed spinach was very good, the French fries were boardwalk style, not shoestring as described on yelp. The asparagus was... asparagus. It was served with hollandaise sauce which was gross. NOT hollandaise, more of which whipped margarine, no flavor just greasy. So anyway, we did get dessert, bread putting w/o the whiskey sauce. We subbed with a sweet cream which was just like condensed milk. That was rlly good. The apple crisp tart was not. So it comes to the table and I lovveee apple crisp. So I take a big spoon full to be sadly surprised with a mouthful of core. Yes core. Hard apple, and spitting out seeds. Our waitress was very apologetic, repeating how they used real fresh apples and how it could've been a bad apple, it was just the cut tho. So we got a new one which was alright idk, the apples weren't soft, again not a lot of love. So overall experience was a nice night out. It's clean, the wait staff is very attentive, the decor is very fine dining, the food was 7.6/10 Id say. And lastly, there's a taphouse like 20 steps away, pls go there if you're wearing a hat. I understand your restaurant is in a casino and you'll accept anyone, but cmon, everyone's in nice attire and you're strollin in with a baseball cap?! Read the room, Tony Soprano wouldn't accept.
