Very rude person responding to my message about condition on dying flowers after 2 days. I was very disappointed with the flower arrangement I ordered from Country Florist. Within just two days of delivery, several of the flowers were already showing signs of dying and wilting, which is not what I would expect from a fresh arrangement. What was even more frustrating is that the florist's note included a statement saying, "If we fail to meet your expectations, please let us know." I did exactly that--I contacted them, sent a message, and included photos showing the condition of the flowers. Unfortunately, my concerns were not handled in a way that resolved the issue. The person who was responding to me from the business by messages was arrogant, condescending, very rude and had no concern about the customer. Also not concern or even bothered about getting a bad review! What a way to do business! When you pay for a floral arrangement, you expect it to remain fresh and beautiful for more than a couple of days. I had to input all my card information online including the security code, they EMAILED didn't call, saying they needed the code so I called and gave it to them AGAIN. They still emailed back saying they needed the code after I gave it twice. So I called back and the owner told me she was "in the middle of something" I told her I was confused because I gave her the code twice and she tells me VERY RUDELY "what is going on?! Early in the day yesterday, I ordered almost $150 of flowers for delivery the following day. That evening, an extremely rude woman who couldn't speak very clearly called me demanding my credit card number. She said my card didn't go through. After she got extremely rude and loud with me on the phone for questioning why she would need my credit card number over the phone, I hung up on her. (her call was from a number not listed on the website) The next morning I checked my credit card statement and a charge as well as a refund was on it. I called to make sure nothing was going to be delivered and there would be no charges. Same woman answered. She rudely said that I cancelled the order, then hung up on me. The worst experience with any company I've had in years. Absolutely horrible. The flowers will be delivered a day late by that horrible woman's competitor. read more

I'm not even sure I'd rate this joint a 1 star. I ordered flowers from my florist in Florida for my cousin in Grand Praire who had just lost her husband to Covid, this is the florist that was chosen. When my cousin sent me a picture thanking me it was just a dish Garden, no fresh cut flowers as I ordered or that was on the order they received. When I called my florist to tell them the order was not right they tried to call to rectify the situation when "Kathleen" was rude and hung up on my florist several times. Now I'm in town for the funeral and I pay them a visit to get my fresh cut flowers as I paid for. They refused to give me any flowers, Kathleen proceeded to tell me "they only got paid $65 and the dish garden was enough, fresh cuts wouldn't have lasted". WTF? All in all I spend $89.55, by the time all delivery, tax and FTD transfer. It's not about the money as it is my cousin not getting comfort in flowers as she should have. I had Country Florist do my wedding September 24th 2016 and they did an amazing job the flowers were fresh beautiful with little water droplets and beautiful colors and the arrangements were way more than I even expected. they made my wedding so special and elegant everyone wanted to stealmy centerpieces and talked about them all night, I also rented the arch which they made it look so beautiful the price was amazing too I will always go to them for my flowers I could go on and on about how great they are. my friend that was at my wedding is getting married and wants to use them as well!! I had flowers delivered for Mother's Day. The flowers were absolutely NOTHING like what I had ordered. When I called, I told the staff I was a little frustrated but that I understand the mess up since they were most likely very busy during Mother's Day weekend. The woman who I spoke to was very condescending and didn't even try to sympathize with me. She said in order for me to get my money back, she would have to take the flowers from my mom that had already been delivered. Since it was Mother's Day and i wanted my mom to have flowers, I agreed to a deal of ordering new ones and having those delivered, and the old ones sent back. I asked the women to send me a picture of the new flowers before being delivered so I could make sure they looked okay! She agreed to this. I thought all was well and was happy we came to an agreement. A few days later my mom sent a picture of the new flowers. Again, NOTHING like the picture. I was so sad at this point. I spent $100 on flowers that looked like they could've been $20. I called and asked why I was never sent a picture before they were delivered and I also asked why they looked nothing like the picture. I was very calm and respectful when talking because at this point I just wanted my money back. I can't say enough about how rude and disrespectful this manager was. She told me the only way I'm getting my money back now was if my mom left the flowers outside her front door to be picked up. My mom was at work. The manager started blowing up my phone saying "where are the flowers?!" "My driver is there and you're mom isn't answering the door!!" "You won't get your money back if we don't have those flowers by the end of the day!!" Literallly making threats. Just please don't order from this company. I posted pictures on Instagram and asked my friends what they thought about the picture of what I ordered versus what I got and every single person was absolutely appalled. on top of all this, my mom was left with no flowers on HER day. Very sad and frustrating experience. The flowers were left out on my moms porch and weren't picked up for a few days after the manger said they would be picked up. Also, she refused to refund me for the delivery fee. I never leave bad refuse or blast companies for bad service because I try and understand their side. If I could give this florist a negative star review, I would. They called me the day my flower order was to be delivered to tell me they weren't going to honor my order because they do not deliver to any areas near the stadiums because games make delivery difficult. My delivery date was for a Monday, when there were absolutely no games scheduled. I tried to explain this to them, but he kept talking over me and tried to hang up. I had to tell him not to hang up on me to get some type of verbal acknowledment that they would be refunding my credit card. I advised that if they have a standing rule not to deliver to the ballpark area regardless of game schedules, they should post that on their website or refuse orders from that address as this has now left me in a bind with no flowers on the day I needed them. I never would have placed an order with them had I known. His response was, "To mind my own business." For an Arlington florist not to deliver to an office located near the ballpark, not notifying consumers before they place their order, is utterly ridiculous and bad customer service. I told him I would lodge complaints with the BBB and Chamber of Commerce and was told he doesn't care. I've never had such bad customer service from a small business. read more

The flowers did NOT look as pictured at all! The arrangement my mom received looked cheap and hurriedly thrown together, was filled with carnations when there should have been very few, had no chrysanthemums, and had the wrong colors. The arrangement I picked (which was the same one advertised on their website) had bright yellow, pink, white and orange flowers in it. The one my mom ended up with was dark purple and dark pink with very little white, and that was it. Also, the teddy bear that was hugging the vase was supposed to be a smooth, soft looking bear. The one on my mom's arrangement looked ratty, cheap and tattered. Yesterday, I called and spoke with someone at the store, who assured me that I would hear back from the manager within 15 minutes or so. Five hours later, I decided to call back again, and spoke with the manager Sherry. She told me that she would remake the arrangement, and would send someone by my mom's house the next morning to drop it off and pick up the first arrangement (thought that was somewhat odd). I spoke with my mom this morning, and she said the new flowers she received are MUCH better than the first, and they even gave her a bigger teddy bear. When I called to express concern about this, the owner was very rude and repeatedly told me that it was to protect my credit card information and that "I wouldn't understand." When I informed her that I would like to cancel my order, she then let me know "I was a waste of her time" and hung up on me. When I called back to try and confirm my order had been cancelled, she hung up on me again. Over 9 of them turned brown within 8 hours including the one arrangement that the florist arranged for me. The flowers were ordered 3 weeks in advance and were already in the store when I called to confirm the order 5 days before I picked them up. They were cut as directed and placed in water immediately. Some were refrigerated and others were in a home set at 68 degrees temperature. The one arranged by florist were refrigerated and were brown also. There was no correlation between ones in fridge or not. I had to pay premium for a rush order to another reputable florist for next day for the event. As these were already in stock 5 days before I needed them and was told she needed 3 week lead time to order, I can only assume they were on hand at least a week before my planned pick up time and not fresh. The owner was belligerent and would not even offer a partial refund. I will say that the designer at the florist, Francis is quite helpful and courteous. read more
