The cashier at my register (Barbara) and the cashier at the next register deserve a special thanks. There was no one else in line to check out so not inconviencing anyone. I decided I wanted another item and while Barbara paused my transaction, the other lady went to get the item for me. I appreciated their kindness so much. My knees are not what they used to be. So nice to run into friendly caring people. So many people just can't be bothered.

I appreciated the friendly-and-available team members strolling around the store, and the 'scan and go' self-check-out. I like the way they laid out the parking lot, so that disabled spots get a ton of room and don't have to park in the same way as the regular spots. Great design. The baked goods and fresh produce sections were standouts. If you've never had to go to a Californian Walmart, count your blessings with this store. If I'm ever back in this area, it's nice to know there's a reliable store around.

My daughter walked twenty minutes there (in the heat) and was told the manager(s) who were able to distribute cash left at 2:00 p.m. So she walked another twenty minutes back to campus. We then spent well over an hour on the phone arranging an Uber ride, etc to take her to a different location. We should've been told about the 2:00 p.m. deadline when we called and all of this hassle could've been easily avoided. I called and spoke to one of the managers, Kathy, who was incredibly nice. However, we've spent a bunch of time and now incurred an expensive Uber ride due to the miscommunication on the part of this store. In my opinion , they should do something for her.

This chained supermarket is nice,clean and indeed super in terms of size. The sale items are much cheaper than back home. Since i don't supermarket hopping often, I can't compare it. I also signed up for a Valu-card to save more,although i might not go there again. Bristol seems like a quiet town, i might give it a second thought. The deli is nice and has put a lot of heart and effort to make the market enchanting. The deli has a daily sandwich special for $3.99. Saturday was a deli-turkey,so the three of us bought one each. The hot-food-sectionhas the usual, Fried and rotteserrie chicken and BBQ beef-ribs,which has been sitting the hot-case a long period of time. The one item in the hot-case that brought me into curiousity are Grits. I never had grits. So I bought a small container for a try, and it was "desert-dry". I needed water after that. The supermarket staffs were nice and helpful.
