The groceries and the like are always neatly placed and current on their dated stock. The staff is, unfortunately, always new as there's a high turnover of employees in this location. This is sorrowful as some of the people are genuinely good people but they're here and gone. Stop by and purchase the 'name brands' only as some products are questionable , but stick to the known national brands and you'll be good to go. Stop by, it's easy to find and easy on the grocery experience.

The store is nestled between the crossroads of two states and is a different experience; but the staff of bag girls and guys is a compliment to the store. The great side is, I locked myself out of the car. This was a first after decades of driving ! The manager noticed the problem and offered the vital information; call the cops and they'll get you taken care of. The manager was spot on, the young cop did his duty and was rewarded for his efforts. A tip of the hat for the area. Safe and not sorry ! Go there and enjoy good ol' Virginia coal miners food choices and stay away from the bakery, you'll get a fat belly !

***100th Review***…read more Over the last week, I've been thinking long and hard about which establishment I want to dedicate my 100th review to. It's a meaningful milestone for me in the Yelp world and I want to choose wisely. I remember reading about the CEO of Yelp, Jeremy Stoppelman, who had the idea for Yelp, Inc initially when he had trouble finding a local doctor in 2004. It comes back to the idea of community, service and sharing and I decided to dedicate my review for this Target store in Bristol, VA. Now I've actually never been to this Target store and my dealing with them is purely by phone. However, they really touched my heart in an above and beyond way and here's how. Last week, the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target line launched and I had totally forgotten since I was celebrating my best friend's birthday that day. 2 days later, when I realized that I had forgotten to place the orders for the items I wanted, the online inventory and stores were sparse and it was especially hard to find the one item I really wanted, their large black tote bag with gusset. I called around and went to the local Target stores all around me, none had it and I was quite bummed. I decided to branch out and check inventory elsewhere and came across this store. From the moment I spoke with a store employee I felt the lovely Southern hospitality. Christine, the store manager, was kind and helpful. She had a bag in stock but they were unable to take payment over the phone and I live thousands of miles away. I asked if they could ship it to my local store and she said that it isn't company policy but she can check and get back to me. 2 days later, Christine called me and said she'd be happy to ship the bag to my local store. She said she also emailed all the store managers in that store to make sure they will call me when they receive the bag so it's not accidentally put out on the floor. I was amazed! This level of customer service is really a step above the rest and I am thankful they went to so much trouble to make a customer happy. Thank you, Christine and the crew at Target Bristol! Hopefully one day, I'll be out there for a visit.

Who wants to spend $7.99 when you can get it up the hill for $4.99? Certainly not me. Don't let the cheap price tag fool you, that wine is faboosh! On the plus, there's a Starbucks inside.
