The only location in Bristol VA/TN. Walk in off the parking lot and grab a shopping cart. They don't ask to see your membership card so keep walking. Front has new items and housewares. Rear has a bakery, meat department, cold cases of food, and fruits and vegetables. Next is drinks and paper goods, freezer department, then shelf staples. Finally the pharmacy and chips and cookies are by the checkout area. Plenty of self checkouts are there for you.

Super stocked!!!

I had never been to a Sams Club before until I visited with a friend. Right from the parking lot and entryway there was not the hectic flurry of people like at Costco! The store was bright and clean and well stocked. Unlike Costco where they have a lot of their own brands, Sams Carrie's name brands for practically everything. Prices were good, comparable with other warehouses. The presentation of refrigerated foods left a lot to be desired. It was just thrown I to a cooler without shelves so the cases were all falling over. This did not make me feel comfortable about food handling safety so I stayed away from those products. I was also really disappointed in their clothing section. It was so small and didn't have nice brands like Costco. My favorite feature was the self checkouts! There were quite a few of them and there were no lines for them. Overall a decent trip.

Sam's is my go to for lots of items. Fuel is usually cheaper and I picked up a beautiful mum for $9.98!

Nice little grocery store with great shopping carts. I haven't had a bum wheel yet! Oh you know the…read moreone, one wheel dancing a pirouette while the others stay in line. I hate those carts and I'm always aisles in before it becomes an obvious issue. Sometimes already far too committed to the produce section to turn back for a cart trade. But I'll always pause to debate, "Is it worth emptying all my stuff out or can I tolerate the annoying rogue wheel? It's things like good carts that set the stage for a shopping trip. Like chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. Could potentially be a deal breaker. With that said... I found Food City to be a pleasant store. My only complaint is that they don't sell my brand of bread, they have no tortilla options other than corn or flour and I could not for the life of me locate quinoa as a stand alone product without some additive. I was, however, able to find some familiar organic options, ground turkey and they had great deals on wine, so that made up for it.

I didn't ask for this either.. the Pharmacy in Abingdon was going transfer it, then found out it was transferred to another place, they advised me to find out why they did that, when I didn't authorize it! I tried calling this location and they never answered, I tried calling the GM and held tight for 10 minute, and no answer, also as many times as I have told your pharmacy to text when ready, they only did it once, thats not ok either! This is not ok!
