Refusing to fill a child's prescription and dipping out for lunch (we arrived a half hour before the scheduled lunch btw) - all with a gnarly attitude - was uncalled for & wont be forgiven. The staff showed a total lack of empathy, no compassion to be found here whatsoever. This is NOT the only pharmacy in town. ‍ 2 stars because this store occasionally sells seasonal squishmallows at a discount & the rest of the staff are generally kind. I was a customer of Walgreens due to them buying out RiteAid years ago…read more So I have been using this pharmacy in total of about 27 years starting with RietAid on State Street then Walgreens on Euclid. Recently Walgreens pulled a stunt that would NEVER see me using their pharmacy again. They, without notice, closed the Euclid Avenue location and expected me to drive further to another location. THEN they failed to properly transfer my medications to another Walgreens. Employees stated the prescriptions were transfered to one specific location, then another and I could not get things like blood pressure meds and epipens. I decided to transfer to CVS here on the TN side at Virginia Avenue and yep, they screwed that up so bad that the pharmacist there couldn't get anything done and I literally had to contact all of my Doctor's to have my prescriptions called into CVS. Not a good experience.

THEY ALLOW him to double park his silver Porsche SUV and take 2 spaces in front of the store every time he works. I suppose they feel that it's ok to place more value on his precious Porsche than my basic Camry. Although they will financially survive without me, I will be taking my mother across the Street to Walgreens. Complaints to corporate and within seem to land on deaf ears. The pharmacist said "there's instructions on taking it in the box you should be fine". I was picking up multiple medications and was already confused about which one to take when due to having to make so many trips. I get their texts that my medicine is ready and 2x over there it's not! "Wait like 35 minutes" excuse me...I called 2-3 hours ago! And got a confirmation my RX has been filled!! So unprofessional unorganized and rude. In 35 minutes I can drive up the road to CVS or anywhere else and be back home with my meds!

She took the time that moutain States health alliance would not take the time to do. I realize pre authorizations have to be done. I also have come to see the laws have become very strict on opioids. However for once in a long time I was actually treated as though I should've been this whole journey! Thanks Vicky for busting you rear ended to get my prescription done today something that took u four hours would take Mtn states 4-5 days with lies about pre authorizations ect! I called my insurance company themselves about the same prescription I was told that they had pre authorized it the day after it was written it was approved. I was told they didn't have the pre authorization waited 5 days was promised this and also 30 minutes on way to get it. I walk through the door "oh Mrs. Hamilton I meant to call and tell you our computers are down I can't fill it without the computer" I said ok can u call me if they come back up today. Her reply was I sure will I said have a blessed day and drove home! I call her again an hr before they close to get it. Granted this medication was the originally due to be filled on the 14th. I went without a major opioid due on the 14th get to the car look at the bottle it was as filled on the 15th! I got it finally on 16th! I despise ballad health! I can't wait to move june 1st and get out of this mess! Thanks Vicky for doing your job and to technicians as well!
