I took the watch back to JCPenney where we had purchased it from and they advised us that they'd have to send the watch in and it would be $40 to $50 and take several weeks. They suggested that I take it to a jewelry store. I took it to a store in the LaCrosse Mall and the young lady working told me that she always recommended, "Clocks off Main", to people who needed watches fixed. I drove straight to the place she referred me to and was promptly assisted by the owner, Joe, who was able to fix the watch in less than 5 minutes and only charged me $10. Joe was very personable and easy to work with. I would highly suggest taking any watch or clock you need repaired to Joe. Anne J.

He skillfully did the work right in front of me in just a few short minutes for a very reasonable charge. I am grateful, as I did not want to replace the entire watch. He contacted Sara and asked if someone could design a pendant including the ivory tooth, diamonds, and gold. Sara came up with a really beautiful design, turning a rough piece of ivory into something very special. The ivory is smoothed and polished, surrounded by a 14k gold and diamond setting. The design incorporates the rustic nature of an elk rack with the beauty of the piece. He surprised me with it Christmas morning. I love it! Thank you Sara for your vision and imagination.

The store is super full though and has excess junk in the back that is visible. Great customer service. Keith really knows his beads and can make whatever you request. We ultimately purchased four bracelets and some earrings that ended up costing $150. I'd say that was pretty pricey honestly. I mean the beads were nice, but not like some expensive/rare stones. I understand part of the charge is labor, but not sure I'd say it's worth that price. Not to mention, one of the bracelets broke after only wearing it once so we need to return to have it repaired-which is inconvenient since we live in Chicago. I declined this offer and went back to the jeweler that did the appraisal and he stood by his appraisal that it was a genuine diamond and took it on consignment for thousands of $$ not a couple hundred $$. Good thing I didn't fall for the scam. Just want to make people aware that you might want to be leary about selling used jewelry at this store.
