A zero rating would be too high. Don't trust this place. The owner is a liar and a crook. I…read morecan't Express enough to anyone considering using them to do your work, to first, overlook the fancy website photos of the business, which you assume are this company, they are NOT!!. Google earth them or gps the place and go take a look. You will find run down blue buildings, with Junk everywhere, swans foods dumps their broken trucks, that aren't in service in a field next to it, weeds everywhere, and no name on the buildings. The entire area is run down. If you're still brave enough, go meet the owner. Now, I don't usually judge books by the covers, but in this case you should, if you have any common sense up to this point. Now, of course not everyone can be a lawyer, or doctor, and someone has to do the crappy, dirty physical jobs, but unfortunately that doesn't mean it'll be right or good quality. This guy will promise you he can do it all. Don't buy it!! Ask for physical examples, not pics, and even if he has something, don't trust it's his work. We overlooked all the above. When the work was to be picked up, it was terrible. Whatever crap he sprayed on, looked clumpy, pitted everywhere and thick runs all over. At the time, i should've took my stuff and left, although you'll read down further, i don't think he would've let us. He took my stuff, saying, he can fix the runs, etc, but not the surface blemishes. Mind you, this is after i was told, and after making it clear i wanted and could make my parts look like brand new. Parts, which included several sets of 1200 and 1800.00 aluminum 22x10 wheels. This would be like repainting an expensive car and then saying, i can't do anything about the body and i just paint over what's there, with no prep. How do you restore aluminum wheels and you don't take care of any anodizing or surface imperfections? I told him I'd let him know what we'll decide in a couple days. I text him after a couple days, saying i want my property and i want to find another shop that can deliver what i want. No response. I text the next day, "what is going on with my stuff", he says he's going to get automotive paint and redo everything. Now keep in mind, he has no automotive spray booth, nor any equipment to do automotive paint, that i saw. I told him in a text, NO, i don't want that. I want my property. I asked again, what's going on with getting my stuff. He says, I'm going to take them to a powder coat place. Now you'd think a business called, "Master Coatings", as part of their name, would already have auto paint and ability to do it, and possibly powder coating facilities, but they don't. I told him in a text, a resounding, No, Once again. I text again, what's going on getting my stuff?, he text, "i don't think i can do anything to make you happy, I'm just going to sandblast your stuff." Again, i say, absolutely NO, I'm not paying you to sandblast anything, because i want to take my stuff elsewhere, and I'll have to pay them to prep my stuff anyway, as with, like him, it's part of the cost to blast and prep the stuff, for the proper profile on the metal, in order for it to be right for the coating, powder or otherwise. In the end, he sandblasted anyway, then sends me a text with charges for the work i continuously refused. I called the local police, was misinformed that he couldn't keep the property, and they could assist in getting my property, unfortunately the officer they sent didn't keep the peace, disagreed, was argumentative, and refused to assist with anything. In the end, the owner took my property and hid it in one of his dumpy rental building. I had to contact a lieutenant to find i was screwed, but he would arrange me to pay and get my property back. He called the owner after i told him the amount i was text that i owed. The lieutenant calls back and says he tacked on over $200 more for storage fees. The lieutenant went in to get an invoice, and came out with scrap paper, for which the owner, in very poor writing, scribbles out a breakdown of charges. No legit service contract paperwork or any legit documentation to give, nothing!! Just scribbled on scrap paper. He also refused to take credit card, cash only!! I guess to evade taxes, and so after he screws you over, he keeps your property, charges storage fees, which are supposed to be shown on documentation for estimates, etc. They weren't, he just made them up. My next step is the better business bureau. Ive had to use them in a transmission shop that delivered me a junk transmission they supposedly rebuilt, twice and still didn't work. By law a business is supposed to give you a legal written estimate of services, etc. Which includes any penalties, including storage fees, etc. Amongst other laws they need to follow. Fines that range in the 10s of thousands. Followed by lawsuits for breach of contract.
