View of our room were the open fields, though we kept the window blinds drawn for some privacy. Plenty of hot water available in the bathroom and we felt safe at night. There's no breakfast due to COVID, but they offer some oatmeal and granola bars in the lobby. Location is pretty good; walking distance to a grocery store if you need anything, as well as 15 minutes to Lime Rock, and 10 minutes to a lovely village called Millerton. The motel wouldn't refund any of the money we paid that night either. We canceled our reservation for the next night and found a better motel instead.
