My friends order online from Rainbow Shops often and love the availability of plus-size clothing so I was super excited to check it out and grab some spring dresses or some new platform sandals. I found neither of these. What I did find however was an entirely too cramped store with very little room to maneuver around and the worst employees I've ever experienced in my life. They were talking badly about a few of the customers and made a few racial slurs. It was extremely awkward and we ended up leaving after that. Shop online or go naked because honestly anything is better than this place.

I struggle with finding clothes that I like, and they had clothes from my imagination that I tried looking for so long that not even amazon or shein. I walked in and immediately saw clothes that caught my eye. I Also loved that the outfits they had were right next to the items that put it together. In most stores, when you want to get the outfit the maniquí is wearing and you can't find the shirt or the pants anywhere.

First of all, the sale items were clearly marked with their own rack and signage. In fact, the entire store was clean, organized, and really very nice. I was able to find the jeans I wanted, and was able to try them on quickly with the friendly associate in the fitting rooms. When I got to the check out Troy (I think) was incredibly nice and helpful. I told him that online stated that I could get 20% off, and he was very accommodating. He'd seen the promotion and was happy to help. I made sure to tell him that the Pasadena store was a mess, and that I appreciated how organized the store was, and I let him know that this Old Navy has a new customer. Troy shared that with the cashier next to him who commented that he's heard similar complaints about the Pasadena store. Overall, this location was excellent. I have absolutely no complaints about the store or the employees. It is worth the time to go to the Clear Lake location, rather than suffer the convince of the closer Pasadena location.

Was in the area and saw a sale sign and yes they had a great one day sale on kid's Tshirt and more…read more I picked 3 but the one I wanted most was not in the size I wanted so associate looked it up and suggested I get at another location available (well it was closing time and I couldn't make it on time) she also suggested I purchase on line and pick up at that location. And gladly reminded me that they were closing in 5. Well I explained my situation to cashier and she suggested purchasing the wrong size and exchange at other location so that I can get at sale price and get correct size tomorrow. I sincerely appreciate the idea and that gave them the sale and made me happy with my purchase. Sometimes stop and assist customers even at closing time.

I asked if she could get someone who is on the floor to look before I made the drive. She then placed me "on hold " just to hang up. So don't call ahead you'll just get hung up on.

I've been shopping at Anthro for years and will keep coming back…read more The assortment is beautiful, but I have to admit once in a while sizes are n/a ...because they sold out in store! But I'm always offered the option to order online, with free s/h. The staff is friendly, they offer to assist so I can shop more comfortably. There are unique things I couldn't find anywhere else or perhaps I would have to go to different stores to find. The artistic displays (which are changed every few months) are so beautiful, and paired with the candle scents makes or a very pleasant experience, even if you come to look...I hardly ever leave empty-handed!

I went into Anthro recently as I love to window shop here and look at the sale room. So I…read moreeventually did go into the sale room and there was one sales person in there helping another customer. I looked, but I wanted to wait to feel more comfortable alone for the salesperson to leave. Another walked in and pretended to be straightening clothes, it was very clear why she was in there because there was no reason for two sales people to be in there. She proceeded to stay in the room straightening clothes as everyone left and it was just me. Eventually I left to shop without being bothered in the rest of the store and wait for her to leave the sale room so I could be there unbothered. While on the sales floor at least 3 people asked me if I wanted a dressing room. While I did have clothes in my hands, I wanted to look at everything before getting a room. I like to carry items and think about my decision to buy. Finally she left the room and I went back in to browse ALONE. As I was walking back in to look at items, ANOTHER salesperson walked in and again pretended to be straightening the clothes. I was very annoyed by this time and left the items I was considering purchasing in the sales room out of frustration. I had wanted to try them on, but all interest in buying from that location left me due to sales people refusing to let me shop in piece. Ironically as I walked out the door, TWO sales people approached me and asked if I would like to have a dressing room. I left the store with no purchases in hand. The manager said thank you for coming, and I thanked her, but I've basically decided to never go to the Baybrook location again. A lack of trust for customers and bothering them constantly to buy is a bad recipe. I went into Paper Source afterward and a sales person approached me to say hi. I told her about my experience at Anthro and she chuckled saying she wouldn't harass me. It also seems like this location is not doing too well because they have decreased their inventory--not as full as it was when they first opened a few years ago.

This location do carry some online exclusives as well. Now, if you're not into fashion as in sexy, super cute, edgy or trendy things. This is not the place for you. You may want to stick to Lane Bryant or Ashley Stewart because Torrid is fashion forward and current. Every location is different base on the customers who shop there but Galleria is the best one....

Honestly, I work for a company that most of the women buy all their office attire at Torrid. I did…read morenot know much about the store till a friend of mine told me she worked there. So I checked it out for myself a few times never bought anything felt some of the attire was a bit costly but I was willing to finally make my first purchase here. Normally I would not buy anything here but my gf has a skin condition so I wanted to find her a wireless bra because she gets sores from wires huge ones and they get infected. Well one of the employees her name is Hannah who works at the Torrid at Meadowwood Mall and I had a falling out. I told her and was clear I want to shop at your store I mean honestly how many Torrids are there in Reno? ONE while the other store is just lingerie and I was NOT looking for lingerie. I needed a solid bra for my gf whom I came in with but she and I went to other stores. We did not find one that would be adequate for her! The first time I walked in the store Hannah and a few of her employees were pointing at me for one. They were laughing and I heard them talking about my girlfriend and I. Lets be honest here not only was that immature how am I supposed to feel comfortable buying anything with that happening. I did not go in the store to cause any issue I did not talk to Hannah did not look at Hannah and I did not buy from Hannah. I have every single right to look around that store! Well my friend left to go look for bras I went back into the store figured maybe I could surprise her because she was new to Torrid so I wanted to show her the sunglasses and some of the dresses. Did not know they also had bras in the back. So I went into the store again only this time the same thing was happening and an employee came up to me new me by name how strange I have been in this store a few times but never in my life seen this employee how would she know? Then she says to me you need to buy something now or leave you cant spend time with Hannah like oh really so now I cant browse anything. Prior to her walking up I was in the bra drawer looking for a 38D did not see a single bra size and honestly I could have ordered it online but the employee did not help me with that order instead its like buy something or go before I throw you out really throw me out? I get that these employees are friends of hers but in no way shape or form should I have been subjected to such rudeness it was not only childish but I am a customer in the store unless I am causing an issue and I was NOT! I filled out a poor review for Courtney then a couple days later Miss Hannah filed a civil order which states I can no longer go into Torrid to shop. The order states that she got in trouble because of me and that I filled out a poor review for Courtney well Duh they were bagging on me laughing, pointing, I could hear them saying discriminatory remarks etc etc did not care still purchased the bra and I left the store to go to my vehicle. I did not hang around but I did sign up to be a loyalty member which was also in the civil complaint that I signed up as a loyalty member and that I also was carrying my gun. Nevada is an open carry state but I did not have my gun on me no weapons are allowed in the mall yet the order states I was bringing one in there store total lie. I am to a point where I am about to get a lawyer and SUE Torrid and its employees for emotional distress, harassment and a whole litany of other things. Honestly, so what I dated her awhile back coming into the store does not make me a stalker I came to that store with another woman to buy a bra that is it. Just as I have a right to file whatever survey reviews that is my right as the customer and basically I got told that I filed a bad review on her coworker. Now how would she know this unless her coworker and her are harassing me that is personal information I am a customer nobody should know what kind of review I leave! With that being said two of my friends were shopping back in December and Miss Hannah decided she did not like them and told me she was going to also file a restraining order against them and call the cops. So anyone I know now cant shop at Torrid because they will either be harrassed, threatened or served with a protective order. Most of that protective order states how I was in the store and they got in trouble. Well I hope they did for harassing me they may not like how I look or the fact of whom I am but I am still a customer and I made a purchase of 50 something dollars for ONE yes ONE plain black bra.  Honestly, not sure how they could want to promote her or anyone on that crew to an assistant or store manager given the fact that this is how this employee acts. So you hate me you do not have to talk to me or look at me but I have a right to shop in Torrid and that right was taken away by someone all because what I filed a review that was not so nice against her employee who was basically rude to me? Might need a lawyer for this one!

March 14th and 15th, 2023…read more Came in to pick up an online order; the Bullhide cowboy hat is too cute BUT... It's too big. I measured my head to be (HUGE!! LOL) and it's 24 in (7 5/8) but trying on several hats in the store... NONE of them (for spring) were worthy. Hanna helped me with putting some strips of sponge like stuff in the brim. She was soo nice and efficient. She's definitely a team player with a friendly positive attitude. So, I left with the hat. March 15th, 2023 The cowgirl hat was just too big; even with the adders to get brim, so I returned it. Looked around, Hanna saw and remembered me from yesterday and immediately started helping me; she's such a hoot! Sadly, they had nothing that sparked my interest so, I went down the road to Cavenders (shh?) They REALLY had nothing. Got in the car and purchased my Bullhide cowboy hat again one size smaller than the one I bought/returned. Hoping it fits .

I've been shopping at the store for many years now. I went in today and I was completely ignored…read more There was not a single customer in the store but me. I had to go get someone to let me into dressing room. Then I walked to the counter to check out. The lady running the register was standing less than 10 feet from me - eating ice out of her little pink cup I stood there at the counter, waiting to check out for about four- five minutes while she just stared off, ignoring me. We are so close that I could almost reach out and touch her. I turned around slowly and laid all of my items on top of a display case. She doesn't say one word. I walk out of the door and she keeps eating ice. This crew has to be purposely sabotaging, but still. I cannot imagine anyone being that incompetent without it being on purpose. I will not beg to get checked out the store.
