Situated on a sleepy country road just outside of old town, the facility is more like a large home. The kitchen is very visible and spotlessly kept. A large sitting room (family) greets you, bright and cheery. Having been in many assisted livings and nursing facilities, the demeanor and loving staff mark this as an exceptional rest for those in rehabilitation or needing consistent care and encouragement. At 91 years old, my mom had a new lease on "lake life" at Harveston. Laurie, one of the office personnel gave a wide-range of optional amenities ranging from housekeeping to personal caregivers. The whole process was very reassuring that she was going to the right place. Unfortunately, she became ill with Covid which sent her health spiraling downward. Laurie was very supportive during this time. Unfortunately, my mother passed before having the opportunity to move. Although we don't have first hand experience with life at Chateau at Harveston, I can say that the office staff is amazing and the facility is gorgeous. The rooms are very spacious and inviting too! We regret not finding this place sooner.

The food was good and nutritious but like any business never enough staff to get things done promptly. This is a hardship on the kind staff already there trying to keep up. But they always knew to smile and be patient with elderly challenged residents of the wait time was long for assistance. Again visit often and get to know those that are hands on with your most important loved ones, your parents. Atria in Temecula is more affordable than many assisted living places and the grounds are gorgeous and the perfect location. Just stretching the staff to be enough is my only concern. My sister had to request them to do something and they wouldn't. After my sister was adamant, my mom was finally transferred to the hospital where she ended up passing away within a couple of days. I do not recommend this facility because of that and because of the lack of care she received. Oh and she kept being found unresponsive because they were giving her insulin when she was barely eating. We asked them to stop giving her insulin but they never stopped. Her death could have been prevented from happening so soon had they taken better care of her.

I must give special mention to CNAs Veronica and Alma with whom I spent the majority of my time. They were always attentive and cheerful when I needed it most. Assistant Director of Nursing Mike Lamb also went out of his way to assist me when I had questions or concerns about my situation. The Physical Therapy team was fantastic in their approach to my healing. Primarily led by Ted and Jurbee, my PT sessions became the best part of my day. Their expertise and advice produced immediate results and made me feel much more confident in my ultimate recovery. Finally, your Administrative team- Meredith Shipley, Erin Hickey and Crystal Islas provided the patient related information I needed to relieve undue stress from the moment I was admitted to the day of my release. Again, special mention to Erin and Crystal for their efficiency. Both went above and beyond to assist me with scheduling doctors appointments and home nursing follow-up. My brother and I went to five different assisted and Memory Care Facilities around the Temecula Murrieta area, and all of their memory cares look like zombieland. Very few caregivers, everybody sitting around doing nothing, no music, no one doing activities no laughing and very very depressing. And then we found Vineyard Ranch. The facility is beautiful and very well-kept. When we walked into the memory care, everybody was out of their rooms and doing something. People were laughing, talking activities were going on everywhere, and staff were visible throughout the rooms. Completely different environment and that made us very, very happy. She has been there for 3 weeks now, and she doesn't mention going home at all. She tells everyone this is her home and that she loves it there. She's always doing an activity and keeping busy. She's made a lot of friends. The food is good and she finishes all of her meals. Staff are always there to keep an eye on everyone. After any exercise, the staff brings everyone protein smoothies. Every Thursday they have an excursion to someplace fun and stimulating. At a time when dealing with a situation like this, it can be extremely stressful and create feelings of guilt. Vineyard Ranch has made the transition smooth, easy, and very pleasant. We are so happy to see Mom happy laughing and involved. Couldn't ask for more than that.

My mother was admitted there this last April. The home is spotless and rooms as well as the bathrooms are spotless. While there I noticed Shauna who is the caregiver gave my mother Helen extra special care and attention. As my mother was suffering from dementia/ alzheimers she required 24 hour care. Shauna engaged with my mother on a daily basis . She went above and beyond in assisting my mother and her needs. Shauna would regularly call to ask if it was ok to take my mom with her to various family gatherings. She took my mom shopping , took her to the park, the lake etc. Shauna's actions allowed my brother and I to sleep at night knowing mom was in good hands. She would text me photos of my mom weekly. Smiling laughing and enjoying life. My cousin Raquel Lewis left a nasty post on here due to family disputes which have nothing to do with this wonderful business. If you read her post disregard it as a case of sour grapes that had no bearing on this business I highly recommend this home for anyone who requires 24 hour care for their loved ones.

While they did not end up living here due to costs, I will say our experience was a positive one. Even though it is right beside the noisy freeway, you can't hear the noise inside. The place was very clean, very posh. They are 3 years old and it shows. Decor is modern and classy. Michael gave us a tour. He was excellent. He was very responsive beforehand. He has you parking at the one spot in front with your name on it. They had your name printed out on the table. The whole experience was a good one. At the end, Michael gave my parents a special cake in a box. He was fantastic!
