Even though his Dementia had gotten worse and sometimes he didn't recognize us they would remind him that his family was coming to see him and he would wait for us to arrive. He became very attached to the staff and they became very attached to him. I wish we could mention you all by name but there are too many angels working there. We decided to take him home for the last few days of his life so we could be with him. We cried and so did the staff as we were going to miss them all so much. The quality of care is solid, it's a popular choice for many seniors in Hemet. Elevators are accessible, the food's good, and there's even an underground parking garage. My primary issues were the odors in the apartments. I don't think the floor is properly mopped. Someone needs to come in and Lysol the joint. Additionally, some of the CNA's in the apartment section were borderline grumpy. Customer service needs a vibe check stat. Type of care: Dressing, bathing, feeding, etc. it's a Swiss-army knife of a facility not too far from the Hemet Hospital.

The activities and the amenities offered for the residence is great for the reasonable pricing. The caring hearts of the staff, exudes, kindness, empathy and selflessness always. It was obvious on day one that I was going to get the care required to rehabilitate my hip and learn how to handle at home recovery. I witnessed staff leaving the medication cart unattended, unlocked, and the computer opened with patient information visible. My sister had to request them to do something and they wouldn't. After my sister was adamant, my mom was finally transferred to the hospital where she ended up passing away within a couple of days. I do not recommend this facility because of that and because of the lack of care she received. Oh and she kept being found unresponsive because they were giving her insulin when she was barely eating. We asked them to stop giving her insulin but they never stopped. Her death could have been prevented from happening so soon had they taken better care of her.

Desert Hills Memory Care Center We visited several…read moreresidential care facilities before entrusting our mother to Desert Hills Memory Care Center, which was recommended by the family of a resident. Gratefully, there was no institiutional appearance to turn us away. Instead an airy bright, cheerful, resort-like ambiance greeted us. Mature trees swaying in the light breeze, potted plants, a relaxed, cozy and inviting guest services desk, with a platter of fresh baked cookies on the counter. We were immediatley put at ease. Appearance versus staff: it was the people! Cheerful, helpful, always willing to serve. We chose this facility for those reasons. Its been 2 1/2 years now and Mother's laundry is expertly done, her clothing accounted for and returned to her-not mixed or lost in with the general populous. Her room is always clean, housekeeping done on a weekly basis. The food is appetizingly served and a nutritious diet followed. Mother has been surrounded by her own belongings and furniture, in a beautiful private room with a view. All the common areas shine, very inviting. From the very beginning, the staff set out to familiarize themselves with mother's medical/physical condition, wants and needs and have unfailingly sought to meet these. She is catered to!! The work is hard but staff make it seems effortless and always with a smile. Mother has six children, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a sister and brother, nieces and nephews, thus many, many visitros. It is a great relief that all concerns are addressed immediately. We have received nothing but positive feedback. When asked mother always answers, "They can't do enough for me." From the very beginning Desert Hills staff has gone out of its way to make mother, family and friends feel welcome, any time, all the time. Our family is confident mother is safe, secure and very well cared for at Desert Hills.

They do not wash their hands from room to room, and due to this dismal like of basic hygiene, he now has MSRA. I just called Ryan @ the Springs the only Mgr that is proactive, and alerted him to MSRA is in the wild @ Springs. The food is processed & horrible. Most of the CNAs are untrained, and this is a cash cow for the greedy, and often sued owner. Google the 2.5 mil lawsuit he just lost, he owns hundreds of these Skilled Nursing Care Rehabs. Many, more than 10 per hall, sit in their wheelchairs, outside their room all day. Looking drugged & lost. Some of them repeatedly requesting a blanket. Most looking more than half dead. If you care about your loved one find another facility.
