We have worked with JC Lilly a couple of times, with great results each time…read more A few years ago, Jeanie helped up replace every window in our 1893-built coachhouse (each window had slightly different dimensions) with great results and an easy install. They even came back to cover a warrantied crack in a window a year later at no cost to us. More recently, we worked with Justin to replace our front door and open up a transom window above it. They were able to provide exactly the style and color we were looking for and we're do happy with the results. Their price quotes are normally in the middle range, but I will hire them over others because they provide great products and will always follow up with any issues later on.

The referral was great to work with as well. This says a lot to me about how they run their business overall and I will definitely reach out to them in the future.

Lang is exceptional because of their commitment to customer service and same day glass repair guarantee: must be brought in before 9AM. In my particular situation, since I didn't bring the window in before 9, they could not guarantee that my window would be fixed that day; however, due to my situation, the staff pulled off a small miracle of sorts and I was told to pick it up by 3PM that same afternoon. I am very grateful to Lang for their professionalism, quality of work and the price of the repair. From now on, Lang will be our first choice for all of my future home window needs.

I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

Looking at my phone, I see their called was marked as potential spam, which I never pick up on these types of calls. Talked to the owner who said it was their policy not to show up for an appointment if it isn't confirmed. I asked what they are confirming and the owner said it was the address and what service I needed. I had rebooked for next Monday and even though I told the guy the address and service required (what is why they have to confirm) he said I still needed to answer their confirmation call on Saturday or Monday. I understand why there are so many 1-star reviews. The owner goes out of his way to not wanting to do business with customers. Steer clear of this business.

They left us a big hole in the wall that they didn't offer to patch up, the second drawer didn't fit because of valve in the way and was told they would make it fit but it would be another hour of labor for something that would have taken them 10 minutes. Ended up having to spend an extra $150 bucks on the spot because of parts they didn't have available when they had already pulled my vanity out so I didn't really have a choice. Also a bit disrespectful to my wife as well for no reason. Only reason they get two stars is because I live in an older building and certain parts are expected to not work or break on replacement.

Homeowners should be very cautious with Evergreen Door & Window, especially if your home was built…read morebefore 1978. Evergreen failed to provide the legally required EPA Lead Safe Acknowledgment Form for my project, even after multiple requests. Instead, they sent incorrect and outdated documents -- including tenant‑occupied sample pages, old 2010 forms, and a homemade form they claimed was "EPA approved." None of these meet federal requirements. They also told me their contract "replaced" the EPA form, which is false under federal law. I even provided Evergreen with the correct EPA form myself, and they still refused to use it. After nearly a month of trying to get the proper documentation, Evergreen abruptly stopped communicating with no explanation. They simply went silent once they realized they could not comply. Only after this experience did I start researching Evergreen's reviews -- and I found multiple customers reporting similar issues with missing paperwork, outdated forms, and avoidance of compliance questions. I had no idea about these complaints beforehand. This is clearly a pattern, not a one‑time mistake. Evergreen has shown EPA non‑compliance and misinformation. Homeowners should be warned -- this company is not reliable when it comes to legally required safety documentation.
