When questioned by the sheriffs that were on scene, the tow driver told them that "they are just cops and let him do his job" then when questioned by them about how much he was wanting to charge me, he said to the sheriffs "call someone else, you guys are f****** A**h****". My Fiancé went home and got his pick up truck and pulled it out in 5 minutes, and the way we suggested from the beginning , that the tow driver said wouldn't work.

They towed, fixed, meddled and helped out, which is their job, but add kindness to the mix and you're all good. Matt the tow truck guy was so sweet, talkative (dishing out some very interesting info on Northern VT), fast and efficient. He actually had to tow our car not once, but twice and did so without any grumbles. It's not cheap, but they definitely could have charged more since we were in the middle of nowhere without knowing a single person. I'd like to think that they kept it honest. Car troubles?
