My unit that was replaced had no trouble with the air conditioning. We are under some warranty process and stuck waiting for a mystery part. No air conditioning, very hot. Not offered a replacement unit yet. Taking too long. I paid in full immediately and we can't cook or work in the apartment because we are uncomfortable. They were nice and gave us a temporary portable unit for one bedroom. We have two bedrooms and now cannot have our daughter visit us since we have no air conditioning. Yesterday the air quality index was high so it is not recommended to be outside. They are supposed to be the best people around so really afraid to try the competition. I thought I would have had a replacement part in June but did not happen. Very disappointed.

Rob did not charge me for the 134 a. Great guy and very personable!

I hired him to turn my water back on after having the pipes drained for winter, as I do every season. He also flipped the switches to turn power back on for my dehumidifier, sump pump and furnace, a 5 minute job that we usually do ourselves. However, when I received the bill, I was Blindsided! He was on site less than 1 & 1/2 hrs and charged me an additional 2 & 1/2 hrs labor at $98/ hr. for travel time. He did have to run and pick up a filter, and return to screw it on. I figured that he would charge me for travel. Bellows Falls and Westminster West are only 15 minutes apart. Scott charged me an additional 2 and 1/2 hrs labor at $98/hr. When I contacted him, thinking that he had made a mistake, he responded with, "it is what it is". I charged you from when I left, until I returned. I am happy to pay my way, but I'm not entertained by being taken advantage of. If you looking for someone to mistreat, take advantage and over charge you, you've got the right guy. I would recommend that you stay as far away from Scott Harrington and his business as possible. Good Luck.

Their fees are very fair -- a fixed hourly rate for the two guys that show up, plus parts. They do a good job. And, they are easy to get along with. I have had them service my radon removal system, fix random leaks, fix shower faucet, fix something that was going wrong with the pumping from the well, and rip out and replace all the pipes under the kitchen sink. When the well was malfunctioning, I was scared they'd have to replace the submersible well pump and charge a huge fee. They arrived prepared to do that, towing behind them a trailer with big spindle to wrap the pipe to the pump around. But, they had a look inside first and found two other things wrong that they promptly fixed, far cheaper than replacing the pump too. I was thrilled. They also make good recommendations for future work I may want to have done. And, they kindly leave some spare water filters behind at cost so I can replace those filters myself every 6 months.
