But by anything you would want from a supermarket im talking about food so unlike Tescos they dont have a wide variety of CDs, DVDs, Games etc. They dont have much of a clothing line, just mainly back to school clothing. Overall i prefer Sainsbury foods compared to other places, the offers are equally as good as other stores and also equally expensive. The Sainsburys in Loughborough also has a cafe and a pharmacy. There are a good number of tills so you're never waiting too long to be served and there is self checkout which i think is awesome.

Also the car park is full of trees which is very pretty in summer but come autumn the leaves are everyway and it can be slippery under foot so be careful if shopping with elderly people or people with mobility problems. The outside does look pretty grim and once inside Morrisons it couldn't be described as plush yet it is deceiving as it is actually clean. The choice is very good and I think one of the best value supermarkets in the area. The fruit and veg is always good quality and well priced so no excuse not to get your five a day here. There is also a good bakery, fish counter, meat counter, deli and cheese counter. There is also a self service salad bar which is excellent value and always fresh. As it is such good value it is worth weighing up how much of certain items you can fit in the provided containers. For example I've seen people fill a container with just boiled eggs, grated cheese or rice as it is cheaper than buying the prepacked version etc. This is particularly popular with local students. It is nearly always busy and the downside it there are more often than not long queues at the check out. It offers good basic value without scraping on quality and in the current economic climate can help make your pennies go further. There is a petrol station on site.

The produce and flowers are fresh, they have lots of "luxury" goods in the way of booze, chocolate and prepared foods etc. Adequate parking, attentive staff - bakery could be better but it is adequate. They price match Tesco on a wide range of items, and they also sell a selection of John Lewis home furnishing items. They do a reserve and collect service which is separate to the Ocado home delivery service - look at their website. This particular branch is nice, clean, spacious and friendly. It's well located just off the northern side of the outer ring road, just off the A46. It has a petrol station but it can be dearer than others in the area, and there is rarely any problem parking. If you haven't been, give it a try - especially in the evening when there are always fabulous bargains to be had on short-dated items.

They stock some of the less popular magazines etc and their baking section is excellent. The check out process also seems to be a lot more efficient now too. Open 24 hours a day Mon - Sat and open on Sunday. If you love Tescos this is well laid out, bright and carries all stock ranges. There is now an ordering point for Tesco Direct and a new cafe run by Costa Coffee. Parking is a bit of a mare as it is always busy. Allow a bit of a walk. On site petrol station.
