Costco is lot better than Kohl's as a pit stop when driving cross country. They have the best price for gas. No need to look elsewhere. The bathrooms were clean. Even though we didn't buy anything, it seems as though every Costco has something different as we stretch out our legs. Food court had its usual selections. Some items are a must buy because of the price but not when you get accused of theft going out the door because the checker missed the $3 water. They told me to stay right at the door so they could get a manager and make a report so I dumped the water on the floor and left. I only had run in to get a few things and after waiting in line to check out for 15 minutes I was ready to leave, I was in a hurry. I love Costco! I visited this Costco a few hours ago with my husband after doing some shopping at Station Park. We spotted this Costco location from the freeway as we were driving back to Salt Lake City. This Costco has a gas station (currently $1.89 per gallon for the unleaded gas at the time of this review) and an indoor food court (my husband couldn't resist getting a whole combo pizza, $9.95 for an 18 inch pizza, on our way out). This Costco has the same layout as other Costco locations. The employees we interacted with on this visit was quite friendly. This one male employee told me that both my husband and I were welcomed to take 2 samples of the chicken nuggets at his table if we wanted (which we did, as it was close to dinner time). The female employee at the check out was very cheery and very sweet. Overall, great store with friendly service. Love the consistency Costco has nationwide. read more

Tonight was packed with people--people wanting chips n' salsa for the Super Bowl shindigs, people craving pizza at the food court, and people eating all of the samples before I could get any! I absolutely love the deals Costco has to offer, but this one was crazy. We did get some delicious food, but the tables were awfully dirty and the floors were gross, especially in the food court. I'm not a fan of slipping on cheese and putting my elbows someone else's crumbs, let's do something about that please. The bathrooms were clean though, that was a plus. And someone knocked over my slice of pizza--the employee did give me another one, so, gold stars all around. TIPS & TRICKS: * Try the Berry Sundae, BUT get it with chocolate ice cream. Holy crap. On January 6th we stopped at Costco and got gas. Somehow we dropped our wallet at the pumps. We frantically called several hours later when we realized it was missing. Management had the wallet, and everything was just as we had lost it. Although we rarely carry cash at this time we had a few hundred dollars in the wallet. Managment informed us that another customer found the wallet and brought it to them. Hats off to the honest people that shop at an honest store. read more

We bought our house early in 2020. As a way to furnish a nice eating area, we purchased a six-seat dining table from Costco a few months later. Fast forward to October 2023, over three years later. My boss gifted us an eight-seat dining table and seeing how our family was growing, we saw this as a good upgrade. We decided since we were gifted a table that we would pay-it-forward and gift our table to someone who needed or wanted it. Through word-of-mouth, we found a taker. The table was taken from our house on Thanksgiving, November 23, for the new people to enjoy. On November 24, the table was subsequently returned to Costco for a refund, unbeknownst to us. We received a letter in the mail from Costco on November 30, notifying us of the return on OUR Costco membership card and as a result, our hard-earned rewards were deducted from our account. The individuals who made the return, ended up getting the refund, over $800, on a Costco merchandise card. I am trying to understand why, since we no longer owned the table, it was returned to our account, punishing us for a prior purchase that we didn't even return or get any compensation from? My husband, the account holder, wasn't even present for this transaction to his account. This would enable anyone who receives a gift over $100 to return it to Costco, get a merchandise card from this gift, and punish the gift-giver for something thoughtful. I am very upset and disappointed in Costco. This is wrong and makes me reevaluate where I buy any gifts for anyone, knowing that I could possibly pay for my generosity. read more

I love Costco, what's not to like? Food in abundance, great variety of choices, and cheap prices! My friends and I came here to grab some food for our road trip, and it was great as usual. Fruits and vegetables were fresh, and so was our bread. I was sad there was no sourdough though! I also got a pair of very comfortable Adidas long pants, and I was happy they had Pocky too. Cashier (Angela H) was very rude when I wanted to pay my stuff in different transactions. I had my husband pay with my card and cashier stated that next time he would have to pay cash because it wasn't a family membership. I stated that it was our joint account and everything purchased was going to my house. Cashier started throwing my things onto the belt. I didn't have time to stop by costumer service but I was really frustrated about the situation and called. The person that answered the phone was even more rude than the cashier saying I shouldn't have had my husband pay will I was separating my purchase. Get better employees. One of my favorite Costco location. It is always clean and they have very nice people who work there and they're very helpful when you ask for help in anything. The cash register lines are pretty fast moving so you're not waiting too long to get to the front. The only thing I would says is in the food court area they need to keep the condiments fully stocked. I know, I know, "It's Costco, what did you expect?" Bountiful Costco has a different climate to it altogether. As you can expect, it is always crowded and the lines are always forever long. Costco shoppers are just as selfish and oblivious as any other location you've been to. Two things really set this one apart as my least favorite Costco ever. First, they seem to never have what I'm looking for here. Hit or miss to find chicken enchiladas or mac & cheese. They're probably out of rotisserie chicken too. They don't have the good T.P. or laundry soap. Can't find the good cookies. Needed a printer, wifi router, tablet, headphones and I found myself having to drive to a different location to get the one I wanted all four times. The other reason I avoid this one is the staff. I can understand working in a store that is nonstop conveyor belt busy has got to be draining, but compared to other locations in the vacinity this staff is far more cranky. I tend to leave in a worse mood than I started with every time. I've talked to people that swear by Bountiful Costco even to the point where they will drive 20 miles out of there way to shop here. I love Costco, just not this Costco. The service I received the last time I was in was by far the worst I've ever received at any Costco. It was grumpy employee after grumpy employee. I was shocked, normally the Costco employees are so helpful and friendly! The only decent customer service I got was from the sample ladies who aren't employed through Costco! Plus the layout seemed different. We struggled to find a few things. Thankfully the helpful sample ladies were always around and able to point us in the right direction. I love Costco for their seafood/meats (great quality, decent prices), bulk items like quinoa and brown rice (they carry the best brands for killer deals), supplement options (seriously, their muscle milk and premier proteins go on stellar sales sometimes). Those are my staple items that I constantly get from Costco. You can still find other good deals on frozen fruit, cleaning supplies, canned goods, etc. Just pay attention to what you normally would pay at your regular grocery store. Bulk isn't always cheaper. read more

Differences from other CostCos: 1.) No jackets for the walk-in coolers 2.) Cart Corrals are few and far between Otherwise exactly what you'd expect. I've discovered that the Take-and-Bake pizzas from Costco are absolutely terrible. Dry bready crust till the cows come home under a pile of tasteless garbage not fit for human mouths. Costco cakes are the bomb however. In fact, I think they're rolling them out of helicopters in Syria right now to devastating effect. Half a sheet cake is nearly 10 lbs. Tons of cream, tons of icing, and some cake in there too just for that cakey feeling. read more

I am here weekly. It's a problem. I always end up spending way more than I need, but with a large family, this is the place to go for essentials like milk, produce, eggs, and breads. Their prices beat the local grocers. I also come here for diapers and formula. Compared to the prices at Target, or Walmart, I feel like I am getting a steal on these essential items for my baby. I have the executive membership and the Costco Citi card, so there is an financial advantage to go to Costco. 2% back through Citi, and 2% back from the executive membership. Do not use the Costco Pharmacy at Costco in West Bountiful Utah. Ever ! The service is absolutely horrible. I was called by a tech and told my prescription was ready, only to be told at the counter that it was not and to come back the next day?!?!! I called ahead to confirm the next day that it was ready and they said yes come on in, and again, at the counter I am told nope! Not ready ! I told them, hey look why don't you call me when it is actually ready. The next day they call me and tell me it is ready. I drive down, park in the massive parking lot, hike across the massive store, walk up to the counter wait in line for 10 minutes. Oh yes you guessed it, it's not ready !?!?!? I told the employee that they need to let the Pharmacist know about this and that the least they could do is get it ready and let me wait. She asked me who called me, I said well I don't know his name but here is the voicemail and the call log, showing her my phone. She said: " well you can't name names, so you will have to come back later" this was maddening !!! Things like this happened 5-6 times. I won't ever go there again. Neither should you! read more

Had to get tires at the shop here and it sucked. Stood at the counter for 25 minutes while the mechanics were called/radioed several times. Had an appointment at and ended up sitting for over 2 hours. It was a routine tire change nothing fancy. Barely made it out before they closed. If there is anything bad I can say about Costco is that it challenges my will power...I somehow frequently walk out with one or more items I didn't need but suddenly feel compelled to buy when I see it in bulk at Costco. I think Costco is particularly great for electronics and kids clothing items. I bought two coats for my daughter last year, at a very reasonable price, and both still fit this year. Score! The only department I refuse to shop in is their eye glass section as I find the service sub-par compared to Lens Crafters and such. read more

Can't believe it I actually got out of here for under a $100.00! It's the first time that's ever happened to me! Had to treat myself for it with a slice of their combination pizza! Yum! I'm really happy to have this store so close, I've always had to drive always to shop here, this store is centrally located in town just off the highway. It is easy to get in and out of the parking lot and if you go during the week there is no problem finding a space close! They really thought ahead when they laid out the floor plan here, it is easy to find everything and each department!! If you need help finding something it's easy to find someone to ask, and if they don't know the answer they will find out for you! The food court here is located inside which is really nice in the cold weather! The food court is always clean and inviting and the food is always hot and fresh! And hey you can't beat $1.50 for a hot dog and a soda! Haven't been here on a weekend so I don't know if it becomes a zoo or not, I always try to avoid shopping on the weekends! They have a good selection of seasonal items as well as year round items! The staff here is really nice and if they don't know the answer to your question they will ask the right person for you! The food court is located inside and is always clean and inviting! The food is always fresh and hot! read more

If you have a small amount of mouths to feed, maybe the bulk items available at Costco aren't for you. But no matter what, the quality of the products available cannot be beat. The gas is cheap, the photo center is fast, the food court is tasty, the bathrooms have those fancy Dyson hand dryers, all very cool. They carry local products like Grandma Sycamore Bread and Dunford Donuts, they feature local authors for book signings, they have your pharmacy, business, and household needs covered. This particular Costco is becoming more vegetarian-friendly with their frozen food selection, very much appreciated! Their carts are two kids wide, a serious plus! Returns are easy, the samples are delicious, and their coupons are an excellent discount for things you really need. Good stuff. read more

Who doesn't love Costco. There is always so much to look at and buy. Something new every visit. The produce is very fresh and the bakery has plenty of goodies for that sweet tooth. Costco also does a good job at carrying locally made products in their stores. I really like that. Many merchants forget about the local products but not Costco. I love the coupons that come in the mail once a month. The funny part is that usually the there is a coupon for something that I a ready to purchase to restock my home. I also take advantage of the gas station at Costco. I have saved a lot as the prices of fuel have increased. In my house we have the executive membership and it has really paid off for us. We have been able to make some large purchases with our rebate. I would highly recommend getting the executive membership to everyone if you can. read more

I'm a big fan of Costco! I don't even use it much for food in bulk. I mainly buy a few food items and clothing. The price of membership is really cheap. You pay for the whole year but it comes down to just $5/month. This location in particular has very friendly workers and a great return policy. Terrible tire shop. Went in for a tire rotation with 8k miles on 60,000 mile 'warranty' Michelins. The drive tires were nearly bald. I got 30k out of the last set, ($250 used tires) on this same car. The tire "expert" decided that it was because I was "hot rodding" and "because the car is rear wheel drive and doesn't have much weight on the back tires." "These tires aren't designed for that kind of use, but I'll sell you some that are!" In actuality, I drive about like the average person, and this particular car has exactly half of the weight on the rear tires. Tire shop refused to rotate the tires, and refused to pro-rate them. In addition, even with an appointment, it took them an hour and a half to NOT rotate my tires. Last time buying Michelin and last time buying tires from the 55 gallon drum of mayo store... read more
