a cup of iced coffee on a desk

This review is for the Starbucks inside of the smiths. I've been twice now and they've skimped my coffee both times. I ordered the cold brew and was wondering why it was shaken thinking "hmm that's weird, it's not supposed to come like that". Then this morning I ask for a cold brew not shaken (the way it should be) and there is only about half the coffee that's supposed to be in it. Unfortunately I was in a hurry, but I would avoid this place or make sure you get what your supposed to be getting. I still haven't reached coffee yet but when I do I'll let you know how it is.

And I was the first person ever to buy beer in the Bountiful location. So good to see you!" that comes when you bump into someone you know while grocery shopping. That's pretty much what you need to know: this is where neighbors go to shop. Where they go to grab their Halloween candy when they run out, where they go to grab crudité for an impromptu get together, and where they bump into each other buying flour, which will be turned into cookies and eventually delivered to that same person who had a happenstance meeting together with them at this market. On a functional level, you need to know it's an Associated Food Stores property, so it feels more like those small town markets, but with all the stuff of that massive grocery co-op. Most people will tell you about the bakery here and I've had their stuff. Donuts, mostly. I'm a fan, that's for sure. It's not fancy, but it's good Americana stuff. I spent my time in the produce aisle today (after dodging reunions) and I think the selection there is just so-so. I had to go the market near me later tonight, and while the one I visited later tonight does try extra hard to have more variety and more price points, it was still evident that Dick's is far from a specialty market. That's okay. That's not what they want to be. They want to be a neighborhood market. Where neighbors meet and catch up, near the meat and ketchup.

Great chocolate! Nice tour…read more We took the tour, then bought a bunch of chocolate! The tour really isn't much, don't get your expectations up, but it was interesting and informative. Definitely worth the $5.07/person inexpensive fee. Then you get a $4 voucher to use on your purchases that day. Plus you can combine two of them together for $8! So there were three stops, the first two were windows into the factory itself. There were video presentations at each of these two stops. Very interesting. You get a sample at each of these stops. Yum. The third stop was at the ice cream where you also got a sample. Everyone is cheery and friendly. The chocolate is absolutely delicious. I usually don't go for peanut clusters but I am going to go back and buy a box full of just peanut clusters because these were exceptional. The peanuts were not old and stale but freshly roasted just right. So good! I also really like their salted caramels with just the right amount of salt. The creams were all excellent as well, not overly sweet. The ice cream is really good, I wouldn't put it at the top as some of the iconic brands here in Utah, but a solid 4 stars. When you make a purchase, you get a little mint chocolate square whose wrapper is a coupon for BOGO free ice cream or 30% off chocolates, both of which are unlimited uses so keep the coupon. Mine expires on 10/17. This coupon is good at any of their stores. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs! This is worth the trip

It was really fun getting a behind-the-scenes look at how they make all the chocolates and learning a little about the company's history. The best part? Definitely the chocolate samples! And the voucher for the gift shop was the perfect excuse to take even more treats home. If you're anywhere nearby, it's a fun stop for families, friends, or anyone who loves chocolate. We'd definitely recommend it!

Then it came to Heber where my in laws lived and I was excited to shop there sometimes. But THEN I moved again and now the NSL location is so close to my house and I love grocery shopping again! I know this sounds silly, but I get irrationally angry when I can't find the things I'm looking for. My kids know we don't shop at Smiths if we can help it be has nothing makes sense and I can't find what I want. But Lee's makes sense and when I can't find something there is always someone to help. They will even order things to keep in stock for you. I asked for a specific pasta years ago and a few weeks later they had it. They still carry it now! I love the deli and the bakery. Everyone is kind and helpful and everything tastes good. I love the meat department that prepares delicious meals I can take he and cook with no prep. They also always have time to help me find the right type of protein for my meal and are always so kind and happy! I love the man who always tells customers about the good deals or what's coming up on sale. Last year I was told he personally bought holiday treats for the kids so they could have something more than just a candy. He wanted it to be more festive! He makes shopping there feel like home. As do all the friendly employees. And speak of the treats, my kids love finding Buddy and claiming their treat. My 3 year old is shy and usually won't talk to the people at the service desk, but the last few times she was brave and told them where she found Buddy!
