This review is to recognize the Hearing Aid Department for going above and beyond in trying to salvage my mom's last hearing aid after she had inadvertently taken a shower without removing her hearing aid. Once my mom realized her mistake, we tried to dry her hearing aid at home and insert a new battery- to no avail. In desperation, I called and spoke with Keith in the hearing aid department and he encouraged me to bring in the hearing aid ASAP so they could attempt to dry out the water in their special hearing aid dryer. They made no promises but continued to attempt to dry the hearing aid over several cycles to try to regain functionality. Finally, they were able to breathe some new life into the hearing aid. Despite their efforts, the hearing aid is not the same but is somewhat functional. What counts here is the team effort! Emma worked as long as she could before handing the project onto John. Keith had already briefed the team to expect my arrival. I remember their names because they impressed me with their dedication and I wanted to recognize all of them. They didn't charge me anything and suggested I pay it forward with my own good deeds and of course recommended purchasing new hearing aids from Costco. This is a great group of compassionate people! Great service but a pain to shop. You have to be as crafty as Wile E Coyote to get in to shop and as fast as the Roadrunner to get out and not be run over! Imagine having a bad day but you want to cook for the week so you run to Costco. On the drive home you get a funky smell and realize the pack of boneless skinless chicken breast is leaking and upon closer inspection the chicken smells bad. You go back to return it to the Toledo location on Secor upon which Terry at the customer service desk is extremely helpful and polite. (shoutout Terry, thank you!) you get home and cook the chicken but have a weird smell in your kitchen and realize the bag of small potatoes smells like bad shrimp. $40/$80 worth of food was inedible and it wasn't even worth the time to go back and return the potatoes. Kind of wild to have such a high percentage of your grocery trip be complete poison. Worth a longer drive to a different location. read more

I have used Costco gas in many places across the country in this particular place it was clean and well attended with staff available to help you no matter what type of situation you may need from forgetting your card to trouble at the pump. Costco has lots of things for the consumer to feel good about 1st of all the quality of their gas is excellent especially for the price point and I really need premium and it's anywhere from 10 to 20 cents a gallon less than is in the general market. It's a great value. The quality of their goods are also excellent in the store. Including lots of organic food in the crazy value of their $5 roasted chicken just like a miniature turkey. But most importantly, they pay a livable wage for their average employees, including health care and benefits, and I always want to support a large a large retail box store that does this type of thing read more

Road tripping. Good spot for gas and to pick up a gift for our visit with the cousins and their kids. We ended up buying a bulk bag of Halloween candy for my cousins kids, it's close enough to Halloween and we will get them started on their candy loot. Gas is $1.87 here today, such a deal. It's a good thing I went to use the restroom, the few minutes delay allowed me to see a 4 pack of Lysol spray bottles returned by an associate from another member. They only allow one pack per member and someone tried to buy 2 packets. I snagged a pack and hit the register, again to the same cashier that had rung me up before. The associate that had waited on me a few minutes earlier asked if I hadn't already bought one already. A bit annoyed by the false accusation. I pointed at my husband and reminded him there's my husband carrying a bag of Halloween candy and a box of rice crispy we had just purchased from him minutes ago. He said oh as he then proceeded to ring me up. They have the Lysol 4 packs here for $17.99. What were they normally before the pandemic? read more

This is a review for Costco Gas Station only which did not have a separate entry on Yelp. In general I find Costco gas prices to be on the low end for any area. So whenever we are traveling, we always look for Costco gas stations to fill up. This location was just off the Interstate along our route and was significantly less than other gas prices we had been seeing along the highway. Costco is for members only, but I think the membership is fairly reasonable considering just what we save on gas. I like the one-way traffic flow (I had to get used to it) common with Costco and the hoses are spring loaded and long enough to be able to fill up from either side. For some unknown reason none of the Costco stations have windshield cleaning fluids and squeegees. Probably to keep traffic through the station moving; also probably why there are not any restrooms on site. read more

Costco Tire Center is 10/10!!!! My husband and I were on a long trip when our tire got punctured. We tried multiple places before ending up at Costco and they were the only ones who could help us. Ryan and Clayton were so kind and helpful and didn't waste anytime to fix our tire. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

I love Costco in general. There's always a great selection of fresh produce which I appreciate. Most of their stores are set up the same way so when I'm in Colorado or even Alaska, I can get in and out as quickly as possible. Traffic flow could be better that's for sure. The warehouse I frequent always has friendly and helpful associates. Fuel prices are usually better than anywhere in the area. I just wish they had electric vehicle charging as well. I've purchased several sets of tires over the years and even purchased two vehicles through their auto purchase program. There's so much more to a Costco membership than just their warehouse items. I give it a 3 Star for the food, not for the overall experience of world-class American corporate, Costco. The best tip is to order up a tasty hotdog or huge pizza slice and a drink prior to shopping. By ordering first, you'll be able to settle in the atmosphere, maybe go over your shopping list, and best of all, have free refills for your whole visit & wall off the food as you digest it shopping. Desserts, you ask? Well, those will be the little snacks and treats you collect from the various food stands. I am not a big fan of hotdogs, but when I order one, it is almost strictly from Costco. It is incredibly cheap and it is filling, especially paired with a churro. I believe it's is ONLY about $1.50 for a hotdog and a fountain drink. Ridiculously affordable, go ahead and get two. The pizza isn't the best, but it's the bang for your buck value of size and price. I will still defend it being above the quality if Little Caesar's. If anyone checks out and isn't alone, and makes more then one transaction . The staff start the interrogation!!!! They question/accuse members of skirting the membership fees!!!! This is not for Costco Perrysburg, which is great with efficient associates, but the Costco online experience. Looked to purchase a TV on line and have delivered. Free delivery, nice, but you get what you pay for. Just so you know COSTCO will not claim ownership to the delivery of their product and only act as an agent of the sale. Their choice of delivery is CEVA (Call them if you have an extra 30-60 minutes to spare). It took the combination of COSTCO and CEVA to move a TV 3 days less than 100 miles (Morris , IL to Chicago). I set up my delivery date and get back a 12 hour window...yes I have a vacation day to sit at home for a TV. After over 90 minutes on the phone and on line chat all I have to show is...NOTHING. Can't understand why a company that espouses "CUSTOMER SERVICE" continues to push this off on CEVA that even COSTCO associates wait over 30 minutes to contact. I was thinking about getting furniture through COSTCO but I am going back to OVERSTOCK or WAYFAIR as their shipping is quite reliable and I did not know who they outsourced it to (as it should be). This experience puts a dent on COSTCO, I will NEVER order anything online from them unless they correct this issue. The store again is great but trying to deal with online issues from COSTCO in 3 separate chats and three calls (longer than 90 minutes).
