Once my mom realized her mistake, we tried to dry her hearing aid at home and insert a new battery- to no avail. In desperation, I called and spoke with Keith in the hearing aid department and he encouraged me to bring in the hearing aid ASAP so they could attempt to dry out the water in their special hearing aid dryer. They made no promises but continued to attempt to dry the hearing aid over several cycles to try to regain functionality. Finally, they were able to breathe some new life into the hearing aid. Despite their efforts, the hearing aid is not the same but is somewhat functional. What counts here is the team effort! Emma worked as long as she could before handing the project onto John. Keith had already briefed the team to expect my arrival. I remember their names because they impressed me with their dedication and I wanted to recognize all of them. They didn't charge me anything and suggested I pay it forward with my own good deeds and of course recommended purchasing new hearing aids from Costco. This is a great group of compassionate people!
