It's Friday, I did a telephone pizza order, I arrived on time. The wait was long and by the time I was up the young lady couldn't find my order and told me it was cancelled. I had to wait another 15-20 mins to "re-heat" it. Terrible service! They need to be better organized. I also witness workers who had friends come by, place an order, they'll put their order in front to attend them faster during busy waits. Customers complaining for their order until one worker noticed the orders out of place. read more

We usually have the best experiences at Costco and I understand people have bad days but I think this went beyond a bad day, my wife was checking out today, the cashier was super nice but the older Caucasian woman with black hair helping to load the cart looked at my wife up and down in a rude way and then completely ignored her when she asked for a box, the cashier asked her for a box and she threw it rudely in the cart, the poor cashier was mortified and started a conversation with my wife to ease the tension. We both felt it was not due to a bad day. My wife is a POC and has a thick accent. In these times when Costco has been an amazing ally I felt maybe this person should re-evaluate the place she is working. read more

Really disappointed with my recent experiences here. I had two separate negative interactions with a manager named Carlos. He a short older guy with tattoos on his arm. Most recently, I tried to return items I wasn't satisfied with, and instead of being helpful, he was rude, dismissive, and spoke to me in a demeaning way. He even threatened to report me to corporate just for attempting a return. He also came across as extremely negative and pessimistic the entire time, it honestly makes you wonder how someone with that kind of attitude is in a customer-facing role here. This kind of behavior is unacceptable as a manager and not what I expect from Costco. Never had any issue at Costco until came across this person. read more

Costco in Fontana is probably my least favorite Costco in the area, and that is saying something considering how many options there are nearby. Every time I come here it feels especially busy, with long lines, packed aisles, and carts everywhere you turn. Even the parking lot seems to add an extra layer of stress before you make it inside. Costco in general is already not my favorite place to shop because of the crowds, and this location really leans into that reputation. That said, it's still Costco, so the quality and prices keep pulling me back despite my better judgment. I usually try to choose a different location when I can, but when Fontana is the most convenient option, I brace myself and power through. read more

Time for another stop after 2 hours in our 12 hour road trip today. I see on your website that you are collecting donations for the LA, CA fires for the Red Cross. Quality/Quantity - Consistent. I had to get a prescription sent and it didn't go through at first. Since my epilepsy came out of remission I have been stuttering big time in public and with strangers. BUT-Loretta and Brian in the pharmacy were SO SO SO SO helpful and kind and thoughtful and neither of them even showed that they noticed my stutter. Loretta used my ID so I didn't have to keep talking and Brian spoke to my doctors office on my phone to clear the situation up. Thank You Costco read more

By far the worse Costco I've been to. The workers are choosey about who they help and how they help. They HAD self scanners to faster check out, they took them away because people steal. So philosophy is, penalized the regular people that dont steal and just pay like their supposed to. Went out of our way to visit this Costco because an employee at the Rancho Cucamonga Costco said this one had the Disney Letterman's jackets. Came here at 9:15 a.m. on a Saturday and found good parking. There was already a line of Costco warriors with shopping carts waiting at the door to get in while the executive members were already in there shopping. We went in before 9:30 a.m. and found 1 random Disney Letterman's jackets in the size we needed. We returned the one we had and bought the one we found at Fontana Costco. This review is for the Costco gasoline. We were taking our time thinking that this Costco had the same hours as the ones in Arizona. Not so, as the pumps open at 5:30 am Monday through Friday and 6am Saturday and Sunday. Very convenient for the working crowd to get a fill up on the weekdays. also for those wanting an early start on the weekends, the early morning opening hour is great. We had difficulty with the pump. We called a staff person and he tried to make it work. He said it was malfunctioning and asked if we could pull up to the next pump. I purchased a sauna over the weekend and unfortunately was to big for the space I wanted it to be at. Upon inspection it was also missing the steamer unit. I went in a few days later to return it and spoke with a Maria at the returns section. I kept explaining to her why I was returning it and it she kept insisting that I need the machine, but as I told her I haven't even used it and box came as is. I don't have this machine she keeps brining up. She kept insisting that I have it and I kept advising her as you can see I never used it and why would I keep just the steamer piece. Product came incomplete that's not my fault. Which is why the return, eventually got a supervisor and they only wanted to offer me store credit. I was baffled as to why when I paid with my debit card not store credit, again I was sold an incomplete unit that's not my fault. Eventually I got the yes from the supervisor, but then here comes Maria trying to talk her smack and trying to state it was her opinion that I had the item. I then reply in the way she has her opinion, it's my opinion she's insinuating I have an item or took the item which is false in the way she's explaining it and should do a better job then guess at what the situation is. Our visit today was a car battery exchange. Noticed additional 5 free standing round tables to accommodate those buyers who just want a quick bite standing up. I noticed these new free standing tables can park high baby strollers or shopping grocery carts with front seating toddlers as well. Looks so busy this morning for a Friday... is it payday??? I came to this location for the first time today to grab 2 bottles of liquor for a nearby family barbecue. It's a Saturday, so the store is understandably busy. I go into the first (very long) line that I see. After about 10 minutes, an employee appears and lets me know that I cannot buy liquor in self checkout. I let her know that I didn't know this line was only for self checkout and asked where the regular line is. I go to the regular line and get back in an equally long line. Sure enough, once I'm closer to the front of the line, I can see the original line did split into a self checkout line AND a regular line. I was a little annoyed, but wouldn't have wrote this review if an employee didn't also randomly come up to only me in line (when I was still 4th or 5th in line) to verify my membership. I was the only person checked with no explanation. Weird, since they already checked at the door and they check again at purchase. The membership is also in my name. Needless to say, I will not return. I understand now why all of my nearby family members canceled their memberships because of similar experiences at this location. read more

I go to the pharmacy in this Costco and they go above and beyond to help me. Especially Florin who would go out of his way to help all the customers. He made sure that all my prescriptions are taken care of. One time he was just coming back from his Lunch break and he did not even hesitate to help the customers waiting in line. All thumbs up ! ***This review is for the returns process only*** I came to this Costco in Fontana yesterday to return some Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. The return merchandise line was not very long. Usually, there are only 2 staff members handling returns. But today I saw more than 2 people which was nice... thank you for the attention and speed of service! The staff member (Andrea) who helped me was very pleasant and nice. She didn't ask me any questions on why I was returning the items which is another plus. She researched on when I bought the items and provided me a break down of regular priced with no discount versus regular priced with discount. They will only refund you what price you bought the items at and what discount was given at that time. For example, if there is a sale right now for $7.00 off, but you bought the item with $6.00 off. They will take off $6.00 and not $7.00 for the return which to me is very fair. Anyway, the return transaction was very smooth. The way I like it... and that's how it should be all the time. Especially the older tall white lady who was working at the exit was yelling, mad to customer faces including to myself, she rudely/yelling asked to view our receipts.
