Costco is definitely a good place to get items in bulk. My go to staples are always the toilet paper, laundry items, sparkling beverages, dairy and eggs. As for fresh produce I've noticed that they will go bad if you don't consume them as fast. So items like fresh fruits and vegetables are better elsewhere unless you have a family of 4 or more it's going to be hard to finish all that fresh produce before it spoils. Another great place to buy frozen products as they are definitely cheaper here. I've gotten fresh lobster tails and long crab legs here before. They also have good Kirkland wings that are delicious when cooked in the air fryer. Bulk lasagna is good for parties. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to get the Beechera Mac and Cheese and it's so delicious! Out of all the grocery stores I've been to , Costco freshly cooked rotisserie chicken here is the largest and most moist. Great for dinner and the leftovers are good for sandwhich or to make chicken salad for later. There's a food court at this location and it's always busy. You order at the kiosk and wait in line to pick up your food. They still got the $1.50 hot dog and drink combo so that's good. During the holidays that have deals on electronics so it's good to browse their sale and advertising online to see what's on sale in store. This location is the worst for parking. Out of all the Costco I've been to this place is just super crowded so you have to be patient when finding a space. Also patience is needed to return items here as there's always a long line. Unless you have executive membership and come right at opening be prepared to wait in a long return line. read more

I was in line at the Costco self checkout a few weeks ago. An employee herded me over to the empty self checkout line. I had no idea how to use it. I stood there for a minute and tried to scan. Soon there were several people behind me. Soon those people behind me were getting anxious. Finally a Costco member said there was another line open over a few feet away. I left the self checkout lane and walked over to the regular checkout lane. By the time I got there, there were several people ahead of me. I had to wait another 10 minutes. Finally a cashier rang up my order, being efficient and certainly not friendly. And then I put in my credit card. It was rejected again and again and again. I thought the card was bad. I started calling my credit card company. And, Not only did I get the aggravation of the people behind me, but the Costco cashier stopped me and in a rude voice, read me the riot act about how I needed to have a Costco credit card. Lastly, on my way out, I saw employees checking off all sorts of people's receipts. I started making my way out, bypassing the receipt checking. I was then rudely and physically pulled aside, threatened, and lectured on how that they have every right to check my receipt. To complete this review, I want to talk about selection and value. The selection doesn't matter so much to me--Costco usually has very little selection. It is the value which is the primary reason most people go to Costco. But to me it barely matters. When sales people and cashiers are downright rude to a customer, that makes the customer, especially me, shop at other places. These days my wife still insists on shopping at Costco. But I avoid Costco, even with their little free food taste testing stations and lower prices, it's just not worth my aggravation. One last complaint: I never buy food from the food court. I'm a vegetarian, and the only food I ever bought was their awful pizza. Never again. 0 out of 5 carrots. read more

Came in to get warranty on a automotive battery that I purchased in December of 2025. Not even a year ago. The battery tested bad and they said they had to prorate it. For only 9 months of having the battery they charged me an additional $35. You would think the battery would last longer than it did. And you would have thought it wouldn't have costed anything for a new battery being less than a year old read more

I guess my last review for Costco was over 6 years ago! I just left this location on a Monday evening at 7 pm and I still love coming here. There's no samples at 6:30 pm but that's ok. There's often good deals/coupons on a variety of items. Food court still pretty good with their slice of pizza or whole pizza (though I don't care too much for the thick dough and I'd like their combo toppings back). Ice cream pretty good. I like their $2.xx cookie. Their return policy is still pretty decent, not as great as it used to be but maybe because people return too many items, I don't know. read more

Not the easiest accessibility, always crowded or bottlenecked traffic but it's Costco and we all need our Costco. They had the party trays we needed ready to go without having to pre order them. Great deal for a party tray competitive pricing. Different selections and varieties. Service was good from staff, self check out available and food area with seating. Gasoline also available but is usually very crowded causing delays to get out of main parking lot. read more

The worst Costco in the area, run down. I rarely come here but when I do it's horrible. Staff is always miserable. I purposely go out of my way to go to the eastvale location to skip all the bad vibes this place spews out of it. read more

9/8/24 Stopping by to get ice for the swamp cooler while in the area. Got some bagel chips for the crew to pair with the basil pesto dip. Halloween in the brain, propaganda is strong in the industry to make/lure us spend $$$$. Sometimes I just think it's so crazy that people decorate for Halloween the way they embellish it for Christmas. These more than life-like figures (ghouls & such) go for lots of dough. Amazingly, too, my cousins & siblings say there's hardly anybody anymore trick or treating at their houses. Go figure. This Costco in Riverside is somewhat laiid out the way Montclair is, the entrance is to your left, exit to your right. I'm accustomed to the one in Lakewood where is the other way around (the right way). Additionally, the self checkout at this store is towards the exit (whereas in Montclair, self checkout is towards the back by the restrooms). It was a quick pit stop for ice, so we were in & out in a flash. Typical Sunday near closing time, super busy, including the food court. By the way, at the entrance, this store does NOT have the scanners for your membership card yet. read more

Why is Costco selling the same products as Walmart and then marking them up exponentially??! Same exact TCL TV with same features and refresh rate is double at Costco AND the SANUS tv mount is "on sale" at Costco for $150 but it's regular price at Wal-mart for $77. Shame on Costco!!! read more

Went a couple weeks ago and had a cashier ring me up named Daiana. She had the worst attitude ringing me up but I let it go because I thought hey, maybe someone gave her a hard time and maybe she's not having a good day as I also work in customer service. I went back today and went into her line again. When it was my turn, she looks at me and says "What can I do for you?" I looked at her and looked back down at my items on the conveyor belt confused. When I look back up at her, she raised an eyebrow to me so I pointed at my items again, confused because clearly I'm in line...to get rang up? She looks at me and says "next time don't take the cart on that side" and rolls her eyes. I laughed because she could've said that in a nicer way. It was my mistake for pulling the empty cart on the wrong side but she could've corrected me in a more professional manner. So disappointed. read more

Worst experience ever buying at this location. On July 7th, my mom (who is 80 years old) and I went to do our weekly purchase. We were at the register ready to pay, my mom passed me her CC when the cashier "Loretta" said she cannot take the payment because it was my mom's card and the membership is under my name (she had paid before) cashier even called her supervisor which said the same thing, but ok, I get it, but then, I tried paying with my Mastercard, cashier said it had to be Visa no Mastercard, at this point I was already frustrated, so I tried paying with cash, but here it where it get worst my mom was pulling cash out of her purse when the cashier again said, "I can't take the cash because is coming from your mom's purse" Was she kidding me??? how did she know it was not my money? IT WAS CASH! After again checking with the supervisor she accepted it. When I got home, I contacted costumer service, Cindy explained Mastercard or cash should not had been a problem, so what this Loretta lady was trying to do??? This is the worst Costco I've ever been to the parking lot is insane. Never any parking you will drive around four days the people are rude especially the people who work here. The line for the food is always insane. It's in one of the most populated areas, probably in the i.e.. not worth it I feel bad for all the people who live around there. This review is for the cashier LOLINE, working Tuesday October 14 at 11:00am in the checkout line. You need to be retrained in customer service. There's no need to be snarky and rude to your younger executive members, I pay for my right to shop here. Fix the terrible attitude, the other customers in the line were staring at you... Never had a cashier argue with me over wanting two transactions and two separate receipts. Like, is that not your job....... She also smushed my berries?? though i'm not sure if that was intentional or not... :(( I'm curious though, what made you treat us differently, Loline? Was it because of our age or was it because of our race? We were both asian, and you treated us with disdain from the very beginning (at hello). Don't think I didn't notice you immediately changing up your attitude for the pretty white lady behind us, flashing her a warm smile and treating her significantly differently. I hope the managers see this and let you know that this is not okay in 2025. Hope your day gets better Loline, stop taking your frustration out on students who are at least 20 years younger than you... We aren't as easy of a target as you think! :P read more

The only positive thing about this Costco is that it's closer to my house. Otherwise, it feels like a very generic location with limited selection compared to others nearby. I've also experienced some rude employees during my visits. Personally, I'd rather drive a bit farther to the Eastvale or Chino locations, which seem to have better food options and a wider selection of home items. read more

So I have a Costco life hack. Yes, you read that right. For a quick and easy dinner I'll pick up one of their $4.99 rotisserie chickens for soft tacos. After my Costco paper goods run I'll go down the bread aisle and grab the 1,000 pack of tortillas (just kidding, but you will be eating tortillas for days haha) . I'll continue to the deli and pick up rotisserie chicken and boom the rest is soft taco history ( with condiments of my choice). On my last visit I noticed that the chicken comes in a bag now instead of a box.The flavor of the bagged chicken was almost non existent to me. I missed that deep rotisserie flavor.Don't know if there is a new recipe . read more

we ordered our pizza inside at around 6:30-6:40. we made our way through the line to be told it's a 10-15 minute wait. we waited off to the side at like 6:57. they told us 10-15 minutes and we have been waiting well over 40 minutes for pizza outside of line. not counting in the line wait time. people in line behind us already left with their pizzas. we got 1 cheese. 1 pepperoni. I asked for the status of my order and they told me I'm next. then proceeded to call 3 other pizza orders. they called me and told me it's going to be another 7 minutes! this is absolutely ridiculous. if pizza is being ordered they should be aware of how many they need. mine were paid for and accounted for and I've been waiting over an HOUR!! Embarrassing that Costco is known as this "amazing customer service" store. Bought a laundry tower from Costco. Was on the phone with Costco for over 30 minutes for a laundry tower issue. Made a date for service but no one showed up or called because I "didn't verify" despite getting emailed the service date. I tried calling and no answer. I tried "verifying" it online and there's no option, it just says wait for a technician to call. So when will they call to arrive? After the service date? I rescheduled and the day prior, they call and say the technician can't come that day. This is like the third time rescheduling. I rescheduled and said will it finally be done this time. Customer service says "it should be honored this time." Fantastic confidence. How are they so inconsistent in the only service they do? Truly pathetic and don't even waste your time. Don't ever buy an appliance from Costco ever again and run if this company is doing any repairs. read more

Worst Customer Service I have ever encountered. The return desk would not credit me for a grocery item that had gone stale, despite their 100% return guarantee. I then spent 25 minutes talking to the assistant manager just to get a $2 refund on another item that had already been opened prior to my purchase. They then chased after me when I entered the store with the item that they refused to take back, stating I could not bring it into the store. They then held me for another 15 minutes until I threw the unreturned item into the trash. Its employees are undertrained, over-entitled, and provide astoundingly horrible customer service (despite being ridiculously overpaid.) Save your money and spend it at Sam's Club or Walmart, where prices and return policies are much better than this chain that profits on over-priced membership fees. read more

The staff and management at this Costco location were extremely unhelpful and rude. At other Costco stores, everything usually goes smoothly for me, but that is never the case here. I briefly stepped out to my car to get something for my mother, who has dementia, and when I tried to re-enter the store to assist her, I was not allowed back in. I explained that I am her son and caregiver, but the employees did not seem to care. They made me wait at the exit while a manager was called, who was just as dismissive and unprofessional as the staff. They simply DO NOT care about disabled people or their caregivers. Its policy over common sense and compassion. Pathetic. read more

3:40 on Thursday, August 7, 100+ degrees outside and I purchased a $400 full cart of groceries. 5 kiddos in tow (behaving nicely) and 37 weeks preggo. For the first time ever, I asked for help out to my car. The person checking receipts said she couldn't find me help and I needed to to track down a cart guy myself. I just decided to unload myself. This is often the go-to location because it's close to the 99 Ranch Market and we can kill two birds plus lunch in a relatively efficient trip. Like all Costco locations this one isn't perfect but it has an Optical Department unlike many others. It's the usual layout inside except the Food Court is outside, old school style. Also typical is the stock by zip code and demographic model, so you won't see sides of lamb hanging in the frozen section. I've noticed that this model also affects the wine and liquor selections and this store bests other locations such as Eastvale and the old one in Tustin. Overall, it's still a chore that's best finished quickly but who can pass on the hotdogs? read more

I've been coming to this location for the past 24 years. The service is always descent. Most of the employees on the floor always seem in a hurry when you ask for help, but the cashiers are great and so are the box people. I just don't like the heavy crowds and long lines. Costco needs an employee or 2 micromanaging the lines because it's pure chaos sometimes and just when you think you've found the end of a line, you find out the lines ends around the corner of a random aisle. They can do better for being a wholesale company. Other than that, they always have a nice selection of products. read more
