They also sell exotic products imported from other countries, like exotic Pringles from Belgium. This location is huge and spacious! Much bigger than other locations I've been to. I like! They have more inventory than the one in Brockville too, which is the one I go to most often. It's in a strip mall with lots of free parking.

I saw through Instagram that an item I wanted was being sold for 50% less than the price online. This was enough to make hubby and I make the trek out to North Oshawa. The layout is similar to most other Costcos. This warehouse felt less busy, and the parking lot layout less chaotic, which improved our shopping experience. They have self checkout stations. The staff were friendly, pretty helpful, and efficient with checkout. The samples we had were decently sized. Washrooms were clean. They have a decently sized garden centre, as well as a gas station.

They really know there stuff. I won't go to box stores for big purchases because they would never EVER take the time Gagnon staff took with me that day..

It's cramped, but it's filled with kitchen and house ware gadgets. Prices are pretty good. They have wooden skewers that are 2 packs for $1. Why I'm writing this review though, is because I need to tell my amazing plunger story. I bought a plunger. My toilet's been clogged for two days, and my old plunger caved in on me (literally caved in). Upon trying out the plunger from here ($5 plus tax), my toilet immediately unclogged. It took me one flush to get it unclogged. That has never happened to me before! Such a wonderful $5 find.

After looking at the ad, the employee grabbed our two GPUs and brought them to the counter behind the cash. After having the GPUs placed in a bag and only then put on the checkout counter we were able to pay. After purchasing the GPUs we walked outside and quickly took the boxes out of the bags. To our surprise the GPUs we had been given were not the ones we had asked for. After returning to the store not even 2 minutes later were told by several employees including the manager Dan S, that we would not be able to return our items until after the weekend had ended. Absolutely ridiculous rule considering we had not been allowed to hold or even look at the product until after checkout. The only reason they get 2 stars is because there was no hassle when returning the GPUs.

If you're looking for Chinese ingredients specifically, it's a bit limited. You'll find most of what you might be looking for, but I feel like they don't carry a lot of the popular brands that we're looking for. I think they support really a wide variety of Asian necessities, so it's more geared for variety. If I want something in particular, I pretty much never find it here, or I find a weird brand I haven't tried. It's a really clean store and well organized. Staff are super friendly. The hot food table has a few options, plus there's a sushi stand, but I think the food is just so-so. We've not quite enjoyed the quality there, but I think it's fair to say that most of these types of eateries are not the best. They make everything in a large batch, and while some flavours hint at authenticity, the quality is quite meh. Again, great place to go for your basic necessities and pricing is fair.
