I was greeted by the owner's wife and she explained everything to me, including the 3.5% fee for a credit/debit purchase, and the return policy (which varies by items.). Do not look for glitz and glamour, but expect a rotating stock that will be different each time you go. It is like a treasure hunt for things you didn't know you needed or wanted. I…read morediscovered a lot of Costco products I've seen in the stores, at more competitive prices -- in some cases it's because it's missing a component, i.e. instead of a 6-ct of their tuna, it's a 5-ct, but still cheaper than what you'd be paying at Costco. So it's a great place to find a good deal. And if you're interested in military-grade shipping boxes, they have a huge supply in the back lot. A staffer quickly took us back there to shop around for whatever we wanted and brought us a cart as well in case we found a few things we were interested in. Staff in general were very accommodating and friendly and the service was terrific. So glad we found this place!

With its unavailability so widespread, imagine the thrill I felt reading about the Cannibal Sandwich holiday tradition in Wisconsin. A product of German immigrants (in Germany, it can be either beef or pork served with raw onions on a roll or bread, and it is called "Mett"), it is served in many homes for the holidays, each family adding their own special touches to the flavor. There are a handful of restaurants in Wisconsin that serve it year-round, and the state's oldest general store, Kuhtz's, is one of them. It's on the menu every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and is served on marble rye with raw white onion and pepperjack cheese, if you like. Seasoning is up to you. I was delighted with the flavor and value. The kitchen at the store is located at the back of the store side of the building (there is also a bar side which features a lot of traditional bar games, as well), and you order at the counter and they'll bring your order out to you when ready. They offer a pretty full menu of bar food and a revolving list of specials and soups. It was a pleasant day for a drive-thru in the Wisconsin countryside and a great lunch.

The man working, greeted us right away and answered all of our questions with a pleasant attitude. He was so welcoming and helpful. The store offered so much. Home decor, jewelry and other accessories, clothing and leather goods. Hand crafted items were throughout the shop that felt authentic. The price point is a bit high but the quality meets the price. I'm so happy to see this new shop along Washington Avenue. I think shoppers will be pleased.
