Costco's amazing! I'm fairly new to having a Costco membership, but every time I go I appreciate my membership more and more. They have amazing food in the deli so they make fresh, the bulk items that you're able to buy I had a good price. People are always friendly. I used to live in California and I did all my shopping at Costco. Once I moved to Utah I continued the tradition but I couldn't be more disappointed. The last few times I purchased avocados, 1 out of 5 or 6 were eatable , the others were hard for weeks! Most of the products are not as fresh as it used to be. I have had to dispose of lots of food because of the poor quality. I purchased organic eggs and these were so old that the moment I tried to pull one from the box, the shell cracked, practically dissolved. The only products that I have been able to maintain are the frozen items. Costco has lost vision and focus too much in mass production and its neglecting its quality. I love my local Trader Joe's for fresh products. I can count on them on offering top quality that will be fresh at any time. read more

Want to give a shout out to Tisch at the wireless kiosk. My family bombarded him the other night so 6 of us could sign up for Verizon together from 3 different carriers all at like 45 mins to closing. He was so patient and a great multitasker. There is no better place to go for wireless they service Verizon, Tmobile and Sprint. Also thank you to the whole staff at Murray Costco because we ended up being there past closing, everyone was nice. Costco by far is the best place for meat, dairy and rotisserie chicken and gas for your vehicles. I love being executive member with a visa card, cause I as a single person earn enough cash back for purchases especially gas, which is btw usually at least $.15 less than anywhere else to pay for my yearly membership not to mention the savings on everything else. So I imagine family's can do even better. read more

Jake from the tire section is amazing!! We came to get a tire because ours had a nail in it. He said that unfortunately they did not have the tires I would need, and that I would need to buy all 4 instead of just one. Although I was fairly disappointed in this, we found it SO incredible that he told us another place to go that would help us out. He was not being biased towards Costco, he was looking out for the customer and we greatly appreciated that. This Costco is one of my favorite in Utah! It's large and in charge. Aren't all the locations though you might say? Not like this one! It gets super crowded on weekends so I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you can avoid it then, but other than that this store is huge and has a really decent variety and selection of items and employees are friendly and all very helpful every time I have come to this location I have been pleasantly surprised. read more

Costcos are among the most uniform of chain retail stores, so what else is there to say? No jackets available for the walk-in coolers. Lots of our senior citizens seem to frequent this location. Parking lot is huge, and a draw for panhandlers in need of bus money. Otherwise par for the course. read more

Who doesn't love Costco?! They have everything that a person could possibly want! (in bulk sizes!!!). More is better here. Eveything is super sized, even the parking spaces. One of the nicer Costco locations I've seen. Though they didn't seem to have the same selection of fine watches as other locations, the food selection was nice, along with numerous free samples of course. They did a good job clearing the snow on the morning after a big storm too, which was impressive. read more

I love Costco Gas! Usually a bit cheaper than other stations. The lines were very short and we were able to get our gas and be on our way in only a few minutes. The only problem we had was that our Costco card wouldn't work. The attendant on duty, was close at hand, and helped us out. I don't know what the problem was, as we used the card both before this visit and after this visit and it worked fine. read more

When you travel cross country and rent a house for your get-a-way with 8 guys and 2 girls, one of your first stops is to see if there is a Costco around to buy in bulk for the week. We pretty much found everything that we were looking for except in Utah there were no no Korean instant noodle bowls, fresh chicken wings (not frozen) and no selection of fresh clams. We did find high quality steaks, luncheon meat, cheese slices, 6 loaves of bread, 5 dozen eggs, plenty of drink selections, and on the mountain snacks galore. Another WIN for us is the discounted lift tickets that help saved us money on the slopes. read more

Solid Costco, right (kind of) off the freeway, but also makes it one of the most crowded Costco's around! The parking is pretty crazy, but then again so are the lots at every Costco. Very good meat department, fantastic selection and tons of it! One thing I wish they would do is move the little food samples carts somewhere OTHER than at the end of an aisle on the corners. Really... ANYWHERE else would be better. I don't really ever eat anything off those carts (because I know what a ravioli tastes like), but geeez, people will crowd around and just GRAZE with their carts blocking the entire walkway. Then just just stand there and apparently like to discuss their opinion on how that taquito tastes. It's a TAQUITO, lady! Feed your gullet and keep moving! WE want to get shopping done and don't need to stand there waiting for you to take another sample. Anyway, what would really be helpful is if they adopted the "scan n go" app that Sam's Club uses, eliminating the need to stand in line at the checkstand. The people at the door don't bother counting items as it is, so I don't see what the downfall would be. read more

You need a tomato? How about 19 lbs of tomatoes instead? This is the only place that makes you buy 21 times as much of something you need, charges you more per unit, makes you pay to join their club, won't take your credit card, and still manages to trick you into thinking you're getting a good deal. It's ok though, we all do it. Just don't go on a Saturday, in case you don't already know that. Have a nice time learning to juggle tomatoes. read more

I have pretty much given up shopping at grocery stores since my love affair with Costco began. While they might not have 5 brands of every product, the brand they do have (Kirkland or other) is going to be high quality and priced right. I am impressed with their fresh produce and meat and seafood selections and the best secret of the entire place is their spices. read more

Tips for Costco 1. When you shop here, bring an empty water bottle with you. You can fill it up for free with water at their food court and sip water as you shop. I bet you end up buying less food impulse purchases. Plus, they have the good ice at their drink dispenser. 2. Send all your photos online and usually they are ready 2 hours later. Dirt cheap and pretty good quality. I like to do my own photo post production in photoshop or similar software, but I always print 1 photo with my enhancements, and 1 with Costco's default processing, and sometimes their processing turns out better. 3. When picking up common generics at their pharmacy, I always check the cash price and compare it to my copay price. Sometimes the cash price is cheaper than my copay, or close enough that I will buy 6 months worth of meds. I hate the fact that my insurance will only authorize a months worth of meds at a time. 4. The flowers here are also very cheap. If you want a more arranged bouquet (instead of the bunch-o-flowers look that the flowers from costco have), you can strike a deal with the local flourish. You provide the flowers from Costco and she will just charge her labor in arranging them. In Utah, everyone knows a part time florist. 5. Costco car rentals for vacations are about half the going rate. Always check with costco online prior to renting a car. 6. As of March 2015, the food court at the Murray Costco takes cards! Worst store ever!! Go in there to get just 2 bags of chips and come to find out we can purchase them because were not members. I'm sorry but I'm not going to pay for a membership when I'm only visiting or never going to use it again!! Seriously how stupid they can't allow people who are just visiting a one time visit so that if they actually need things for their visit they can get them instead of having to drive to another location. There person that was over the cashiers too is a freaking idiot as well we stood there in line for at least 10 minutes before they even decided to open another lane they need some self check outs for people that only have a few items. I was at Costo last weekend with my wife. We ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad and Brisket sand. I got to the table to noticed that the Brisket was dried and almost black. Right away I told a worker of it and they said that that was the last of the Brisket but that they could make me a new one. They did and it was so much better. My questions: Why serve something that they know is not eatable? Just start a new batch so customer don't have to complaint. Then...the chicken in the salad had few pieces of raw chicken. We also complaint and they refunded us the money. It was a bad evening at Costco. But nice courteous people that wanted to help make it better. read more

I just relocated from Kirkland Washington. Suburb of Seattle and home of costco. I find the quality in this store is not up to what it is in Kirkland. I went through practically a whole layer of strawberries 4 pound clamshell and every one of them was starting to rot or mold. Also I notice sometimes there are very short pull dates on items. I have mentioned to the store personnel and also called costco Customer care in Issaquah wa. because of my disappointment. Because I come from the Seattle area I know that costco reputation is quality beyond national brands. So just surprised me in this store. One other problem is on costco Kirkland brand salt and pepper grinders. I have had to return the salt and pepper sets to the store several times because of a flaw in the neck of the grinder.. the plastic breaks. Costco is aware of it but this started going on over a year ago when I was still in Washington. So something has to change in either the composition of the material they use or the design of the salt and pepper. In speaking with customer care in Issaquah they said they were aware of it and we're trying to find the locks that because this has been going on way too long it is a nuisance after the first use for the next to crack and have to make a trip to return in the store. read more

This location is great, however, the photo central needs a management overhaul. Whenever I come to get my prints (well after the established pick-up time) its never ready and there is always something wrong with the machine. Its really too bad because this location is closest to my house, but in order to get what I need I have to drive to a further location. read more

I usually would say I love Costco but my recent experiences have not been great. They are constantly moving where items are that I regularly buy, forcing me to wander around their huge store several times. Finding employees to ask is always challenging. And this location doesn't have self-checkouts forcing you to stand in long lines when you only have a couple of items. It's starting to make me reconsider if the savings and high quality products are worth the inconvenience every time. read more

This Costco is ok they're all pretty much the same they carry pretty much the same items, but the feeling in this store is a little annoying because the young dudes selling phones or tablets are a little pushy and annoying with customers as you walk by as they try to stop you and ask you about XFINITY cable etc..and other items they're trying to push, I don't really care for that garbage approach... if I'm interested I'll talk to you at your counter leave us alone haha as we're just trying to shop in a huge warehouse that only requires cash or debit and you have to pay to come into that store with a membership(: lol what a joke The lines are always long here, I don't like that at this location, doesn't matter what time of the day they're always long. This Costco has slow services for photo and especially pharmacy. I waited an hour to get a prescription filled when there was just one other customer. Litter lay after an hour and repeated asking they went to the self a pulled the box down. They are a bunch of inconsiderate lazy and selfish pricks. Never get a prescription filled there. Can't even imagine how long the wait would be during a busier hour. read more

It's a Costco! I love Costco they are great, good deals and a great return policy. This Costco is just like every Costco you have ever been to with one major exception if you are from out of state, there is no liquor/wine section, because of the Utah liquor laws. I was very pleased with the price of my tires here but the service is terrible. Fow what I saved in initial price I have paid for in lost time more than 5 fold. Tires come with free rotation (as do most) but I've had to wait sometimes 20-30 minutes at the counter just to be recognized. I'm here now for my second rotation and Last time it took an hour and a half. Today I've been waiting at least that long. My car is on the rack but nobody's been working on it for 20 minutes. Next time I'll get tires at a TIRE store. read more

I usually love Costco, but trying to work with their Optical department has left a very sour taste in my mouth. I have tried for weeks to get someone on the phone to fax a prescription, all with no luck. I call during regular business hours (not during the time they warn the phones could be off due to low staff) and the line just rings until I get kicked back to the main menu. I have only successfully gotten through twice. Ever. The first time, the person immediately hung up. The second, a woman answered and was extremely rude and irritated that I would dare call them. The Pharmacy here is an absolute joke!! I went there to get a simple flu shot. I ended up waiting nearly 2 hours. Finally i went to the counter and asked for my insurance card back. They told me it went through and they were ready for me now. So I waited another 15 minutes and still, nobody called my name. So i just left. I'll try my luck at a different location. read more
