Larger gas station-more pumps
Victor G.

I don't shop often at this Costco as it's further away than 2 others. The advantages here are the vast parking lot and better product selections. The gas station seems bigger too. If one likes to "shop" leisurely, this is the Costco to go to. Vast product selections, the lines look to be shorter as crowds aren't that big. Hearsay Costco sells many types of Dubai Chocolates, including an ice cream bar. Thought I saw the ice cream bar but not the solid ones. I did find Bouchard Dark Belgian Chocolate, 72% cocoa with only 4 ingredients: unsweetened chocolate, sugar, low fat cocoa, lecithin. No fillers like vanilla. 2 pounds (18) singles wrapped in aluminum foil. Compared to regular chocolate bars @5.29 for 2ish oz., Bouchard's chocolates are a great value!!

This Costco doesn't have as much new variety as other Costco's in the area. It's probably a good thing so I don't spend more $$ on each trip and try to stick to what I went in for.

3 boxes of pizza and 25 chocolate chip cookies
Ma Afrel E.

Foodcourt-- I called on Friday for my order for my daughters bday and re confirm today for May order at 1 pm to be pick up.. I ordered 3 box of pizza and 25 pcs of chocolate chip cookies when I got there it's not yet ready I got there 1:20 because I bought some cupcake too inside. When I pick up the food and ask for plates 26 pcs of plates the tall ladies she's( Latina ) ask me why I need to much I only ordered 3 box of pizza I'm she's rude only for plates she's going to be like that.. I spent $109 dollars just for plates she said you guys have party u should have plates it's my first time to encounter that kind of person in Costco.. next time I will call ahead of time just go there and buy. It so disappointing The order is not ready plus I just ask for plates nicely but that kind of attitude.. pls improve your customer service.

As a member for over 10 years, I was shocked by my experience this morning. I arrived at 9:35 AM and was rudely turned away at the door. The staff told me only Executive Members could enter before 10 AM--a policy I was never informed of. The attitude was dismissive and disrespectful. A terrible way to treat a loyal customer. I've never felt so undervalued. On yelp, it didn't mention 9am open hour is not for non executive member

Bought a dishwasher from costco. Completely disappointed, both in the product and the service. Poor scheduling: They sent a text message saying that their scheduled arrival is in the afternoon, but two dudes knocked on my door early in the morning. Upcharge: The two dudes did a check and asked to replace a tube and a cap for $100. And the money went directly to that two dudes via cash or zelle. Several years ago I bought a washer and a dryer from Costco, and at that time the technicians didn't do this kind of scamming upcharge. These two dudes basically got in your home and charge you, putting you in a situation that is impossiable to turn down. Crack on the product: After installment, the two dudes finally showed me that there was a huge crack on the panel. And they said the machine could function normally. And they said they will need to schedule a replacement. Come on, it's customer obsession to check the product before sending it to a customer's house.

Im a driver and I stopped by Costco just to buy a Hot Dog at the food court but I was told I had to wait until 10:00 am to go in because im not an executive member. Dumb policy! Had to wait 45 mins just get a Hot Dog?.... Wtf? I thinking about canceling my membership with Costco.

This place sucks, they need to hire people with customer service skills. Drive to Newark, or Fremont.

It has been a long time since I was last here... So time for an update…read more But now that I am shopping at Cardenas Supermarket down the street, I can frequent you more often. And I am going to check out your regular Costco in Hayward also on my next visit. Quality/Quantity - I like visiting the Business Costco because they have slightly different items from regular Costcos. And I sometimes discover some GREAT finds. Well, not today. I like buying your commercial kitchenware from this location. Good quality and reasonable prices. No fresh seafood at this location. No food court. Actually, very limited departments. Just noticed that I do not have many pictures for this location; I will change that on my next visit. Atmosphere - They added gas to this location in April of 2022. Makes parking slightly harder, but I like to walk. Neat and organized; actually, it is even more spacious than I remember from my last visits. Service - Consistent. Price - I never check. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 1992. Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. The place is well laid-out, they have a wide selection with what seem like reasonable and competitive prices (and great specials), and the sales team is incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. I was pretty indecisive, and my salesperson talked me through my options, pros and cons of using certain types of fixtures, and made creative suggestions for how to display particular items. Also, this location's return policy is generous so I'm not sure what happened with the other reviewer. You have 60 days to return unused products, with no restocking fee. I was told that if something didn't work out or if I just changed my mind, all I had to do was bring it on back in its new and unused condition! My happy shopping experience even extended into the warehouse, where the gentleman who pulled my items helped me realize that I'd ordered one too few hangrails. They took care of that for me right away and I didn't even have to go back into the showroom. Not to mention, the other gentleman in the warehouse rescued this big beautiful hawk that managed to fly into the warehouse and get trapped. He scooped it up in his hands and gently placed it atop some pallets and was monitoring its behavior as I left. But I digress! The two men loaded up my car carefully and gently with my new loot, and I was on my merry way. I'd definitely recommend this place for all sorts of reasons, and to top it all off they have a really professional website complete with an online catalog so you can shop in advance!

US Foods CHEF'STORE - Big quantity groceries. Able to use/store a gallon of vinegar? Lol

US Foods CHEF'STORE

Whoa I had driven down this road many times but totally missed glances over here. Maybe I looked…read moreonce but thought it wasn't for the public. You see US Foods is one of the big wholesale food distributers that restaurants big and small use. They will deliver big loads of goods whether food or supplies right to the restaurant, usually on pay terms so no cash is handled. And for busy restaurants this is a must, as they constantly need raw goods coming in weekly if not daily. This is the first time I saw a 'US Foods' store. I think they took over something else. But it is a big store/space where almost everything is in bulk and/or wholesale form. For the home cook there is really nothing here that would fit their needs/kitchen unless you like to buy in bulk. 20 - 50 pound bags of beans, sugar or flour is usually just too much for an average Joe to carry to the car, let alone store in a home pantry. But if you like to entertain/cook for a large group like a big birthday, a bbq outing or big holiday get-togethers, then this place may serve you a purpose. I browsed one day and got a good feel for the place and here are my observations. If you go into the fresh produce area or the meat/dairy areas, you will have to go into a refrigerated room. The whole room is about 35 degrees so if you go in there in shorts and/or a t-shirt, then you will not be able to stay in there for too long. Produce not really extensive but you will be able to find some basics. Some things are in cases/big bags but not everything. Actually lots of things in smaller packaging like 2-3 pounds which is doable for a home fridge/usage. I'd say the offerings here are somewhat similar to what you could get at Costco. Meats are a mixed bag. Lots of processed meats like deli meat in whole form. Lots of cheese too but much too bulky for a home fridge. There are pork and beef but all in big/whole chunks. Nothing will be cut into steaks. Big packs too like minimum 10 pounds or more. But if you're cooking for a big group, you're gonna need a minimum of 10 pounds so this may be a draw for me. The bad is for the beef selection, even though the pricing did seem good, there is no 'choice' grade. They use 'select' grade here, which is a notch down from choice. But if you're just braising or slow cooking then this grade would be just fine. Costco only serves 'choice' grade or higher so theirs is more premium. Pork is fine here, I got some pork tenderloin in 2 packs, which is one of the smallest packages I saw, ideal for home usage. Good selection of restaurant ware. Pots, utensils and storage containers. This is a big draw for me as I love restaurant quality storage containers. They are sturdy, with tight lids and many are stackable. These are even hard to find at Costco and Smart and Final. On a weekday morning there is zero traffic here, complete opposite of Costco. Now this is more geared towards restaurants, but knowing if I can get something here or Costco, I will choose this, as the parking and ease to get in and out is an amazing asset to me. I was gonna give them 3 stars for not really being friendly for home usage but given those certain occasions where I'm cooking for 10 or more people, then this place will get a heavy consideration. And drum roll please******no membership card needed. Open to the public. **cymbal crash**

I like shopping here because the prices are pretty good and less crowded than other brand stores.read more
