If you're buying clothes, they have really great deals for you know just buying one pair of pants or one shirt. And they are very high quality. Their returns policy is very generous as well.

I am a 25 year member of Costco. My recent visits have been less than stellar. After having visited…read moreSam's and witnessed the easy checkout process, checking out at Costco is very inconvenient and tiresome. I went to the self checkout aisle today with a very large purchase and some very heavy items. There is no limit on the self checkout aisles and they typically go much faster than the regular checkout. One of the employees with a scanner gun stood and watched me lift all of the heavy water bottles, drink, dispensers, and other miscellaneous items, and put them on the scanner. When I had only toilet paper and paper towel towels left she offered to scan those for me because she had to put in the clearance for the alcohol that I had purchased. I told her never mind. This is not customer service. I have to show my ID in order to get in the store. I have to show my receipt to get out of the store and no one will even help me spend the $384 that it cost me to be there today. Even Home Depot has a scanning gun that customers can use. Sam's has an app that you can add up your items as you go through the store and then they look at a QR code and scan your basket as you leave. Easy Peezy, if these two places can make themselves more customer friendly, so can Costco.

Their prices are reasonable. The store is unpretentious and the staff is friendly. I also like the smell of mixed spices, which they also sell, inside.

A new business on my list of favourites…read more They specialize in sharpening cutlery for area restaurant and meat packing businesses. I finally visited, bringing a long a few of my kitchen cutlery. When I retrieved them the next day, they were properly sharpened, with a keen edge on each. Sharpening is $3 or $4 for each knife (okay, I can't remember), and they safety sleeve each piece upon return. You will notice many, many new knives of all sorts for sale at the counter and directly behind, hanging on the wall. Reasonably priced, they surely have any knife you might need. A side line is their various cutting boards and cookware. As well, they have sausage-making equipment and the spices to support. On a related note, Ferrari also carries used kitchen cutlery that has been sharpened over time. They might be at the end of their usefulness for professional kitchens, but they still have a lot of life left for home use. I picked up several used knives to supplement my current stock. Bargain pricing for all used knives. I didn't realize that they also specialized in spice blends for all sorts of meat and vegetable preparations. Their selections are almost overwhelming, but again, you will most certainly find a suitable blend for all of your needs. For those of you that smoke meats, they carry a variety of clean hardwood sawdust and wood chips. Have any questions? I did, and the gentleman behind the counter was able to answer them and make suggestions to assist me. They don't have a big presence along Groesbeck Highway, but once inside, you will find their specialty store to be amazing. I recommend!

I loved how every aisle tells a different story -- sport-themed, college-themed, color-themed, Santa suits, personalized ornaments, beautifully detailed nativity scenes, and unique keepsakes you won't find anywhere else. It instantly makes you slow down and smile. You name it, they have it. Every section feels thoughtfully curated. It's not just shopping; it's an experience, you find yourself wandering, looking up, and taking it all in. That said, a few things to keep in mind: the store is huge and can feel overwhelming, it's almost always crowded, and with so many amazing options, it's easy to overspend. Some sections can feel repetitive, and the nonstop Christmas theme might be a bit much if you're not a big holiday fan. Even with these minor points, Bronner's remains a magical place, bringing out childlike joy and reminding you why the holidays feel so special. Clean restrooms and free Wi-Fi were definitely appreciated.

It was amazing to see them at work and how nice they are! The prices are sky high! be ready. ornaments are north of 20 dollars for the cool ones. so doing a whole tree in one visit will be the price of a used car. I saw many folks buying one or two each year creating the tree slowly... it will take hours to see it all, and the crowds are plenty.... it is open year round.
