Costco has a car wash! In the greater Puget Sound area, this is the only Costco store with a car wash. For only $7.99 + tax, this is the best deal for a drive-through car wash anywhere. Being a drive-through type, it is not as thorough as one would hope. But for $8, it is a bargain! We will gladly have a carwash when we are in the area. The hours are slightly different than both the store and the gas station. Do double check before going. The cost can be pre-paid when getting gas or pay via the mini dedicated payment machine before entering the car wash. At least one person stays at the entry point to remind folks to put the car into neutral. All in all, it was easy, inexpensive, and did a perfectly good job on a dirty car. Thanks, Costco! read more

$7.99 car wash? Heck yes!! Brown Bear is almost double this price for their basic car wash. It gets your car clean, although there is no vacuums or cleaning rags so bring your own rag to get the hard to reach spots. You can pre pay at the gas pumps or while in line. Sometimes the line is ridiculous so double check before you pre-pay at the pumps! If you have a fancy car this isn't for you!! For my mom suv I don't care about it works great!!! read more

Solid car wash for the price. I wish they could brush the front end if needed to help get the stuff off the bumper better. Recommend going either early in the morning or late in the afternoon otherwise the line can be very long and it's not easy getting in and out of the parking lot during peak times. read more

This has to be the cheapest and best car wash you can get for $8.00. My vehicles come out pretty clean. You will have to pull over right after exiting and wipe your vehicle down. It can't get all the nook and cranny but it's not bad! Just wished my custom rims would come out cleaner read more

I think this place is so highly rated because it has the word "Costco" in it. I've been to a fair amount of automatic car washes, including the Quick Quack car wash chain that was prevalent in California, where I used to live. They all did an okay job. Nothing incredible, not like hand wash, but okay. I went here two days ago and this Costco car wash did an okay job. There was still some bird poop stuck on my car after the wash. That's not a big deal, but I wouldn't call this car wash five-star "great." It's not worth going out of your way for, nor is it anything noteworthy. If you're already there shopping or getting gas and want an average automatic car wash, then go for it. But if there's a car wash closer to you, I'd just try that. read more

Use at your own risk. Okay for standard cars. Never had a problem with wife's or my Audis. Took a 911 through and tire scrubbers damaged area where flares start. If your car is damaged beware Costco uses a sleazy third party corporation to deal with these kinds of issues. If you don't have good insurance you'll be forced to sue or walk away read more

It was my first time coming here so getting to the car wash was a little confusing to me due to the costco parking lot. For starters there's two ways to pay for the car wash. 1) After pumping gas you have the option to wash your car and paying for it there at the gas station. 2) You can scan your membership and then pay. Since it was my first coming here I didn't know I had to scan my Costco membership before driving up to the man showing a receipt that I had paid for it. I can't remember the man's name but he was so kind and so nice. I'm sure he could tell how nervous and lost I was.. He offered to run to the machine with my costco card so that I can wash my car and then once I'm done I can pick up my car. I couldn't hear her over the car wash saying to go in neutral right away. She came up to my window rolled her neck and her eyes letting me know I was already on the conveyer belt. I've actually never used their car wash before or even knew it existed. But it was definitely worth it. Only caveat is there is no vacuum or hand dry. So most people just bring their own supplies to detail or dry their car afterward in the parking lot. There's plenty of room too. Really easy to use their system. read more

Pay attention to the machine. hahaha. i was so mesmerized by my first costco car wash that I just took my receipt and ran with it. Upon entering, the attendant pointed out that my "membership was invalid". but he ran back and re-processed my card and it went through successfully. I must've missed the option to choose "credit card" in all the excitement. :P It's the little things in life, i suppose! This is a great car wash $7.99 before tax.. Oh costco, you've done it again! and you don't have to tip. The line starts as two and it's a tight squeeze to turn in which was a bit nerve wracking. Overall the payment was easy, you do need your Costco card. Car came out clean without any scratches. Very thorough wash for a drive through. The man working the line to make sure your car was aligned properly was very nice and helpful. He was always smiling even when he was constantly running back to help people who couldn't figure out how to use the machines to pay. .... look at the picture for the card swipe direction, swipe your Costco card, then swipe your credit card. Yes, it was that easy, but three to four people had issues. He would run to help, swipe their cards, then run back to the front to guide the next car entering the car wash. read more

This is a no muss, no fuss site. It's the only Costco I've been to that has a car wash onsite. Can't beat the price. Is it as good as a full service car wash? Of course not, but it definitely does the job in between those full service washes. It's conveniently adjacent to their gas station, so it's super convenient to get there early on a weekend morning, gas up, and then immediately head over to the car wash. With the obvious stated, you need a membership to use this car wash. The car wash is located in the same plaza as Costco but closer to its gas station. There's often two long lines which merges into one. For about $9 it does a good job. Prior to going in and after paying, you just show the person your ticket, put the car in neutral, get pulled into the machine, and exit with a clean car. There is only one cleaning option since it is an automated car wash. Would definitely recommend it and make sure your windows are pulled up prior to entering! read more
