The washes below gold are good too, but more for surface dust and light road dirt. If you have tons of sap or bird droppings or heavy caked on mud, then I suggest treating those problem areas yourself first. For a car wash to be able to scrub that off would potentially cause damage to your paint.

Dirt/sand/dust is rubbed off rather than rinsed off, which isn't good for the paint. More water flow would be a nice touch. 2) Sometimes you don't get what you pay for. If you paid for "Best" with an upgrade and the sign at the exit shows you "Clean," here's what you do: ALAWAYS PRINT THE RECEIPT at the pay station. Drive around the building right into the wash again, at the station select "Pay at the Wash," show your receipt and request the correct wash. Get what you paid for. (I was told you can go through as many times as you like on the same day). As this happened to me more than once even on non-busy days, I'm a little suspicious as to why... I'm sure most people don't print the receipt, wouldn't notice or bother. Spaced out kids running the show or easy cost cutting?

They had excellent manners; more than I would ever expect out of a drive-through service nowadays. I needed to use the self-service vacuum while they were closing up, and asked if they could keep the vacuum running so I could finish up. They were happy to do it. This service is a complete joke…read more I got my car detailed by Chad, last year and he did a piss poor job. It also took forever for them to correct the mistake because their policy was that I can only take the car back to the person who messed up the service to have it fixed. Chad was booked out for weeks so I had to wait for them to fit me in the schedule. I'm just now leaving a review because it was my first time getting my car detailed at the time and I didn't know any better. I didn't know what it meant (they basically shampoo your car) or how much it should cost at the time. Looking back, I feel like I got completely scammed. I now have more experience with other car detailers like WashLB (mobile detailer in Seattle) and two other car washes in LA (I moved) to say this Mr. Detail location in the Fairmont garage is a complete joke. I only paid for an interior detail because I go to the Costco Car wash for $8 to get the outside cleaned. I only booked for interior and it STILL cost me something stupid like $235 for a Tesla Model 3. I think there was a pet hair add on. They ask you to add tip before you pick up the car so I tipped $45, like a dummy, only to drive away with a still dirty car. They work out of a dimly lit garage with barely any light so they probably cannot see all the dirt. When I drove my car into the sun, all the dust and stuff they missed were immediately apparent. It was a waste of time and money because each time I dropped the car off I had to Uber or walk home! I was out my car for 3 hours each time while I waited. Later I hired WashLB who came to my apartment's garage and would wipe down my car with a bucket of water and rags I guess and vacuums. They also did not have strong sun light to show all the dirt but they did a good job for only $77 (before tip) for both interior and exterior. I didn't have to go anywhere, they came to my garage. Moving to LA, the detail places here are also $70-$150 for both interior and exterior. All these cheaper places did a much better job and didn't make me wait 2+ weeks to bring the car back to get their mistake fixed. This business is totally absurd, a waste of time and money. I've been getting my car detailed at Eco Car Cafe Bellevue at least once a year since I got it in…read more2020. Between snowboarding all winter and camping all summer, my car takes a pretty solid beating, and they've become my go-to for the annual reset. Most recently, I brought it in after Burning Man, which was a whole different level of dirty. First, a PSA because I have to look this up every single time: they're inside the Bellevue Square parking garage on P3 and can be surprisingly hard to find. The easiest route I've found is entering the garage from 10th Ave and driving straight forward from the entrance. The nearby elevator takes you up into the Hyatt and is also the easiest way to find your car again afterward. Now that I've written this down for all of you, perhaps I will finally remember it myself. I usually get the Elite package, and my car comes back spotless, smelling amazing, and feeling almost new. I've tried several other detailers in Seattle, including Eco Car's mobile detailing, and nothing has come close to the results I get at the Bellevue location. It's why I continue making the trek out here. For my post-Burning Man appointment, I upgraded to the Extreme Elite package. I wasn't expecting literal perfection given the amount of playa dust embedded in every conceivable crevice, but they did better than I expected. They got an incredible amount of dust out, including around the rubber seals, and pointed out some areas where I could consider paint correction. My car genuinely feels new again as long as I'm not squinting too hard into the tiniest nooks and crannies. I also really appreciate that they have bright inspection lights so you can actually look over the car before leaving, even in the dim garage. They also let you come back within a week if you notice something that needs a touch-up. For my fellow Burning Man people: I did a vinegar wash outside and vinegar wipe-down inside as soon as I got home to help neutralize the playa dust before bringing it in. I also attempted Calgon, which turned into a bizarre sticky, oily smudge fest on my car and required hot water to remove. Cannot personally recommend that experiment. One small hiccup on this most recent visit involved the garage rather than Eco Car. Because the Burning Man detail took more than five hours, I learned that the standard parking validation only covered the first five. When I tried to leave, I was told I owed $10 for the extra time. I remembered then that Eco Car had given me an additional ticket or validation on a previous long visit, but the parking attendant told me I couldn't turn around to ask and rather dismissively said, "it's ONLY $10." With cars lining up behind me, I just paid it. Not Eco Car's fault, but not a particularly pleasant way to end the visit either. If your detail is going to take more than five hours, definitely ask about parking before you leave. All that said, I'll absolutely keep coming back. I've tried to find somewhere closer that does as good a job, and so far, I haven't.

At my visit, the person at the counter told me the basic package was appropriate. My complaint was never that I expected an Elite/full-detail service; it was that some of the work included in the package I purchased was not done. I pointed out several missed areas, and the employees acknowledged and corrected them. I appreciated that. What I disagree with is the owner's claim that I had Elite-level expectations. Rather than acknowledge that some work was missed, the response shifts the responsibility to my expectations. That is not an accurate representation of what happened and, to me, raises concerns about taking ownership of mistakes. For that reason, I am reducing my rating by one star.

Being a drive-through type, it is not as thorough as one would hope. But for $8, it is a bargain! We will gladly have a carwash when we are in the area. The hours are slightly different than both the store and the gas station. Do double check before going. The cost can be pre-paid when getting gas or pay via the mini dedicated payment machine before entering the car wash. At least one person stays at the entry point to remind folks to put the car into neutral. All in all, it was easy, inexpensive, and did a perfectly good job on a dirty car. Thanks, Costco!

I like not having to deal with employees or any upsell. It's easy for me to drive in and out without assistance. It is completed relatively fast and has drying at the end. I hadn't been in a minute and went again recently and found that the prices were much higher. I think this will keep me from returning in the future. I understand that prices are increasing everywhere, but I really think a car wash should be more affordable. If my car came out perfectly clean I guess I would be okay with it, but even the cheapest option is not very reasonable. Because this is automated my car only comes out slightly cleaner than when it went in, I get that a car wash machine can only do so much, but for the price now I would really want it cleaner or I will just have to wash it again really soon.
