Costco - New menu item: Vegetarian "Al pastor salad" added! - Food Court Near Me - Alhambra, California

I always crave pizza when I pass this place! Does anyone else feel the same? Anyways, parking... yes parking can be terrible but being patient is the only way to make it alive out there. Once you find your parking spot, at times, there can be a long line at the food court. It just depends what time you go. Their pizza, churros, strawberry vanilla sundae, and hot dogs are good. The iced latte is too sugary for me. Recently, they came out with some new items on the menu! Now they are selling burgers and açaí bowls!! Also, al pastor salad which I haven't tried yet! But the açaí bowl is delicious. They add granola, strawberries, and blueberries. Sounds really sweet but it's eatable. I haven't tried their burger or new salad items yet! Props to Costco for bringing in some new items to that menu and bringing it to more locations. read more

This place is great! Great selection of signature food. Where else can you get a decent size hot dog AND a drink for $1.50?!?!? (With free refills) the lines sometimes can be long, but several cashier windows are open so the line moves pretty quick. And because the Costco food court is outside, you don't need a membership to buy their delicious food. read more

I'm glad that Costco doesn't disappoint in the low prices for their food. My go to would either be a slice of pizza ($2) or a hot dog and drink combo ($1.50). Usually though, I would go for the hot dog and drink because it's a full meal and just one hot dog is enough to fill me up until dinner. The line moves pretty quickly and you get your food as soon as you order it. Obviously the food isn't the greatest there is out there, but for the price you pay, it's pretty amazing. In the condiment stand to the side they also have ketchup, mustard, relish, and onions that you can put on top of your hot dogs to your own taste. The seating nearby gets pretty packed once the lunch and dinner rush starts coming in, so if you want to avoid that, either go before or after those times, or just take the food back home. read more

Fresh Pizza Tip: Place an order on the phone for a half | half pizza! This way you know it'll be made fresh. Otherwise, you may end up with a pizza that has spent an unnecessary amount of time in the kitchen / box. Prep time is usually 20 - 40 minutes so plan accordingly to pay / pick-up. When you eat a slice of Costco pizza, you are also preserving a piz' za history since Costco pizza has immunity to inflation indefinitely. read more

If you're on any sort of diet, then stop reading while you still can. I don't wanna waste your time on this review. Coronavirus destroyed lives, businesses, countries....hell...the planet. But not the Costco food court! The beloved food court, known for its $1.50 hot dog and soda combo and giant slices of pizza has came back to life. Signs of life started to emerge in the summer when the chicken bake returned. I know it sounds crazy making a big deal about a hot dog, but Costco spent a lot of time perfecting it. Pay attention Costco execs...don't F with it! in case you haven't heard, the churro got a makeover during their pandemic menu hiatus. The new churros are bigger, which means there's more crunch and cinnamon sugar. Thank.you! All that pushing around that giant cart while scouting the massive store for deals is hard work. There's nothing better for post Costco shopping than grabbing a $1.99 giant slice of pizza. There's a lot of nutrition that goes into all the cheesy goodness of Costco pizza. Eating a light meal while you leg and arm muscles have time to recover is always a good idea. All the possible causes of skyrocketing obesity rates include pizza and hot dogs. If you care about your expanding waistline, your A1C, your cholesterol or blood pressure....get out of the line and make way for the rest of us. NOTE: It was about time that the Costco barred freeloaders and started limiting the food courts to members. read more

Do I enjoy the lines at Costco? No, who does. Costco pizza it's worth it for the amount you pay. Sometimes I like to put in back in the oven to get that crispy crust. Chicken bake is your go to if your needing to eat with one hand and no mess. Chicken, cheese and bacon all in one. Hot dog deal is a good one, hot dog and a drink 1.50, cheap and filling. Cheeseburger is a nice size, it's good but for 5.00 you can spend your money to get more food there. Churro for a dollar why not, hit or miss. Berry smoothie, on the sweet side. One perk is that you can order you whole pizza while you shop and pay when you checkout, therefore it saves you time from standing in line and getting your pizza. read more

Costco never disappoints! Cookies are always warm and delicious. Chicken bake is crispy and hot.

This review is for their Acai bowl. Two words to describe it: delicious and affordable. I love Costco now. Their Acai bowl comes with granola, blueberries, and strawberries with a drizzle of honey on top. read more

They made their lines better by putting tape on the floor. It's annoying when people bring their giant carts in line, but... Food is good- I always get the giant hot dog that comes with a drink. Yes! They finally got smart and reverted the lines back to single lines rather than that crazy design that caused u to wait a super long time! Thank you!!! So I'm here in this line on a Saturday and I ordered a whole combo pizza. They're like, it's going to be a 30 minute Wait. I'm like how did you guys get behind in making pizza??? That's all ppl order. Lol I would think they'd just make so much they would never have a back up. So yeah....everyone is all gathered around the small pick up window in no type of order. I hope he is calling out #'s or names. Because everyone is acting like they are next. ...we'll see. Ok they are calling out names. Good for them! read more

Can never beat classic any of the Costco's $1.99 cheese pizza slice and their 49 cent soda. Heck, got great $2.99 hot chocolate sundaes. And $10 can get you an entire pizza for the fam. RUDE! I came here today and got a hot dog for my daughter and my wife got a "Very Berry Sundae". After my daughter saw the Berry Sundae she wanted one too, without the berries. So I make my way back to the line and order a "Vanilla Sundae" the lady makes it and gives me the same one with berries. I tell her oh, I wanted the one with just vanilla. She says "You said SUNDAE" I told her yea but I wanted the vanilla one. She then rolls her eyes and yells "I NEED A VOID"! RUDE SERVICE. read more

When thinking about ordering a whole pizza here, I cringe at the thought of how disorganized their system is. They're stingy on the plates, cheese/red pepper, and the wait-time (15-20 minutes) is hardly a goal for them to meet. (+): -Good attempt at trying to make a system with numbers, but .... they're not going to call your number anyway. -They now accept credit/debit (in some lines). -You can call in-store (for whole pizzas) to expedite your order. (-): -Disorganized system for the whole pizza line. Unsure if you should be the annoying customer who waits impatiently at the front of the window, but this environment seems conducive to such unruly behavior if you want to get out sooner. -Skimps on plates and condiments. I understand the skimping on plates (let's be more eco-friendly!), but you probably have just enough pepper/cheese if you share with another person. Reason for writing a poor review: Waited 32 minutes for one combo pizza when I see people ordering 5 minutes ago and getting their 3 whole pizzas (1 of which is a combo) before me. Recommendation for Costco: -Call numbers or names of customers. -Set realistic goals of wait-time. Recommendation for customers: -Order in-store or have the patience/tolerance to wait and follow their disorganized system. -Consider another option for pizza. read more

Food is good and cheap, but the service is pretty horrible. I always come here and if I'm not ordering a whole pizza, they're service is alright. Today I visited again in over a year and I usually get a chicken bake with caesar dressing. The cashier said he would get one for me and he comes back and says to wait for a moment, because they are currently restocking it. I waited for over 10 minutes and asked another staff member and she says that they don't give caesar dressing for chicken bakes anymore (which I didn't know because I haven't been here for over a year). So I tell her that I understand, but then I tell her that the cashier said he would give me one. Then she says that she'll help me this one last time and goes to get it for me. Then the cashier comes back and tells me they are out of stock for the dressing while the lady comes with 2 in her hands. So the cashier was not only lying but misleading me. He could have said no the first time. This is horrible service and makes me distrust their staff. Also, I was so caught up in getting the dressing that I didn't notice that they forgot to give me my churro! read more

Wow, after looking at their food prices, I could come here everyday to have lunch! A 1/4 pound hot dog with a large bottomless drink, $1.50 A large slice of Pizza... whatever they have, $1.99 A Berry Smoothie, $1.45 They also have churros, sundaes, and lattes, but I can't remember how much they were. Yes, piggy me only remembers what my tummy desired. Food was good, and the price is great! My slice of pizza was huge, but the crust was too thin. So I had to fold it in half before I ate it to avoid the spillage. So the huge slice cut in half is how big the piece really is. Yup, the psychology game. haha. As usual, there are herds of people there, and finding parking is a bit difficult during peak hours. At least the food lines moves fast. read more

$10 Combo Pizza, has a special place in my heart. They only have cheese, pepperoni and combo, one size only-large and all at the same price of $10. This place never lets me down, for a cheap meal. I used to love the chicken bake, but lately it was tasting a bit bland. The polish sausage is super cheap too but not as filling as PIZZA! Costco is awesome they even provide paper plates and enough red pepper and parmesan that you have extra to use on future meals. The volume they deal with is shocking, a lady in front of me ordered a stack of whole pizzas for a company party and they had no problem with my next order. I only had to wait 15 to 20 minutes not much longer than your average pizza place and the pizzas are fresh and delicious. You don't need to be a Costco member to purchase food at the food court. The employees are bit pushy trying to up-sell you in adding a Churro to your meal, yeah they are only a dollar, but I don't need any extra help in getting to pre-obesity thank you very much I'm doing fine all on my own. :p read more

1) They take debit cards and Visa now. 2) They've switched from Coke to Pepsi products. (Note: no Mountain Dew.) 3) I like the BBQ beef sandwich. All in all, still the best deal in Alhambra. read more

I love getting cheap food at Costco! I usually get a chicken bake or pizza. Can't beat the price at $3 and $2 for some cheesy meaty carbs. I recently tried the hot turkey sandwich for $4, and it was so good! There was a lot of cheese and the bread was toasty, kind of like eating a panini. I remember when they experimented with a carne asada bake on the menu, but that wasn't that good... Not on the menu anymore. The hot dog is not bad for 1.50 including a drink. I like me a berry smoothie or frozen yogurt when I feel like something sweet. This location, like most locations I've been to, has the food court outside. Just worth noting because a few costco's have it inside... So for this one you don't need a Costco card to grab some food at the food court. read more

Dude! Pizza is always the best here! While it is difficult to admit that the wait for a pizza here maybe the bit long during the afternoon. It is definitely worth it! I know for a fact that the staff at the window works very diligently to meet the needs of all the people who order pizza. They'll give you as much plates, parmesan cheese, and red peppers as you want. Just be patient people. You either can get something done quickly or get it down correctly. Shout out to the Costco food court! Thanks for the free refills! read more

Such a simple, cheap, and delicious menu. If you look past the line...and the horrible Costco parking, you'll be in a great treat. Hot dog, pizza, Sundaes, Ice-cream...all for such a good price! All outdoor seating if you want to sit and eat, otherwise it's just as good to just take it home. My favorite here is the polish dog, it seems to have more flavor than the regular hot dog. The sundae is a little too much for me, but the first few spoonfuls are good! The pizza is also delicious. Great for large parties with plates, napkins, etc. provided. The best part??? You do NOT need a costco membership to eat here! WOO HOOO!!! read more

So what do I like here? The better question is...what DON'T I like here? Almost every single item on the menu is a bang for your buck item. Hot dog + soda for $1.50? Get outta here! Want to eat "healthy?" Chicken Caesar Salad for $4 (don't use all the dressing though)! Churro for $1? Take that Disneyland! Seriously though, Costco Food Court is always conveniently located outside your local Costco to grab a quick snack or lunch during your Costco run. The churro is pretty big and doughy; the salad is good quality, but I wish they had more dressing options; the pizza obviously is huge and competes with other pizza chains; the hot dog isn't the best quality but is probably the best deal on the menu. The iced drinks/smoothies and sundaes are a must during the summertime. The only negative is that this particular Costco is insanely packed so parking may be a hassle, especially if you're just there to pick up a whole pizza. I would recommend bringing a friend and just doing a quick drop-off and pick-up. Also, how is the salad more calories than the pulled pork sandwich? read more

Costco pizza failed me today April 24, 2019. I ordered my pizza as I was putting gas, the guy on the phone said 10-15 min which is the norm. But after I payed and went to the designated pick up window the pizza box was warm. Got home and just as I suspected the pizza itself was cold ! I noticed that it looked different too. (Check out pictures) The pizza crust it totally different, and looks like a thin crust pizza to me. Also it's extra chewy and a bit tough. Honestly not the best from Costco! Disappointed! Anyone else has had the same issue as of lately? read more

This place serves you honest, simple and delicious fast food. Five bucks can go a long way here, and includes a drink and dessert. If only most places could match this level of speed, quality and simple food. The cashiers here are quite genial, and make you feel welcomed. I kinda forgot how easy on the wallet this place is. Will definitely be coming here more often. There's really not much else to say about this place. Straightforward and limited menu, and delicious, affordable food (goodbye, Little Caeser's). Parking can be a bit of a bitch, and some people just don't know what to order, even with a menu THIS small. Just pick something, for goodness sake, or take a recommendation. Thank the goddess restaurants don't work this way... No pretentious BSing super fancy crap "fresh ingredients" on your pizza here (goodbye, Papa John's). I do love artichoke and sun-dried tomatoes on my pizza, but this is not the place for it. Things to keep in mind *Costco marinara kicks every Italian restaurant's ass in Alhambra (Sorry, Charlie's Trio, the truth's le truth), even though I'm hardpressed to believe it isn't Prego :X (Alls I gots to say is, Prego never tasted so good) *Lines can take a while during crunch times and on weekends, as well as parking *You can look through the window and pick out the freshest pizza (if you're ordering a slice) *Have at least 5 bucks of cash if you want a full meal (lol) *Whole pizzas are baked fresh, and can be ordered ahead of time via phone read more

Inflation-immune 1.50 polish sausage. I personally liked the old berry smoothie better, but the new "fruit smoothie" is pretty good. It's like strawberry flavored. Their new line system is much better but not perfect. Lots of people don't pay attention to the open lines resulting in the food court workers yelling, "Next!" over and over again. read more

Always love this Costco food court! They get you in & out in a breeze! Food never disappoints & prices never do either! Everything is good at Costco haven't tried the burger since they added it to the menu but I'm sure it's just as good! We've all been to the Costco Food Court. It may not be our favorite place to go but something keeps us going back. Even if it's just once in a while, we still go back. Positives first -- I think the food is great for the price! I love their pizza ($2), hot dogs ($1.50 and includes a drink), and churros ($1). So good. They offer other items, such as chicken bake, cheeseburger, acai bowls, polish sausage, salad, etc. When going at peak times, the line can appear long and daunting. However, the line moves fast and a full line will probably take about 10 minutes for you to reach the front. The negatives -- the parking, of course. My advice is to just take the first open parking spot you see, even if it is far away. Trust me. I wish this parking lot was larger to accommodate more cars because the parking lot is the reason why I avoid Costco. But the food gets me back there! read more

I have been coming to this Costco Food Court for their pizza since forever! My early childhood is filled hot dogs, churros, and boxes of sliced pizza to go. This Costco location is probably one of the most chaotic and busiest locations of them all. The Food Court here is no exception, expect lines and lines of customers attempting to get their hands on some of the cheapest, but quality food out there! The Food Court has remained relatively the same over the years with your typical slices of cheese, pepperoni, combo all for $1.99 each and $9.99 for a whole "18. The pizzas are straightforward, but for the cost, it completely eliminates other fast pizza joints by a long mile in quality and taste. Just today, I saw a customer walk off with 9 boxes of pizza in their hands. Similarly, who can forget those famous Polish Hot Dogs that is $1.50 plus a drink. I never eat hot dogs even when presented, but when it comes to Costco's Polish Dogs, I will always make an exception. The Churros here are good as well, for $1, you can expect to fill your stomach up with some good sugary cinnamon dough sticks! The Chicken Salads are good to take and Chicken Bake are filled with your rotisserie chicken and cheese. Again, this is a food court, not a fine dining experience. Do not expect people to be friendly or lines to move any faster. If you have ever been inside the Costco here, it is always a constant battle to get in and get out; the same applies for the food court! The tables and everything outside can get a little dirty and messy sometimes, so just take all the food to go! read more

Alhambra costco food court really sucks during the covid outbreak. First, they don't answer phones to take phone orders. Second, because of social distancing, they have reduced staff. Costco - Who's the dumb a** that changed the line, from snaking configuration, back to this?! CHANGE IT BACK!!! - Food Court Near Me - Alhambra, California

OMG THIS PLACE IS HELL!!! By far the worst Costco food court that I have ever been to. The pricing is all the same and the hot dogs are great... but I HATE THIS PLACE. The customer service is beyond lousy. If you order a pizza, dont expect to get it in the order that it was ordered even if you have a line of 15-20 people just waiting for pizza's. Seriously these guys are do not treat you well. On top of that the lines for grub here are beyond ridiculous! Please spare yourself and do not go shopping here or get grub from here. IT IS NOT WORTH IT! Hell half the people here cut in line if you dont watch things like a hawk. I have never experienced this type of thing at any other Costco anywhere EVER. Let alone the lassiez-faire attitude of the people who work there. They cant tell you anything accurately. Several people ordered things other than pizza that they sent to pick up stuff from the side window that they should have handled themselves. Ohhhh and it literally took me 45 minutes from the time that I paid to pick up my pizza even though I had called it in ahead of time. I WILL NEVER order a pizza here ever again! read more

I mean, how can you really hate some place that has a buck fifty hot dog and soda combo? That's pocket change. Especially right after you dropped at least a hundy or two inside on barrel of pickles and crates of q-tips? The problem with this spot is the same one I had with it almost a decade ago when I pulled karts in the parking lot - the lines are so slow to move. It's as if they teach inefficiency in the back. Though perhaps I'm putting blame where blame is not owed. I mean, the costumers at this location specifically are very slow to park, very bad to park as well. It's always a mad house so it probably shouldn't surprise me that they can't make up their damn mind by the time they get to the window. I'm not sure how else to describe why it's so slow moving with what appears to be the most lines I've seen a Costco have open at any location. They just don't know how to crank the food out fast enough. It's still extremely cheap and really filling for when you're out dealing with the madness that is Costco purchasing. read more

I just wish the employees at the food court would be honest when making a phone pizza order. Don't tell me it'll take 45mins, when in reality it'll take 90 mins. I could have ordered my pizzas somewhere else. I spoke to the manager in charge and he said "we can't help you, because you are late for your order" keep in mind my pizza was supposed to be done at 7:45 pm and I got to the register at 7:50pm.
