Excellent local oil change establishment in the never end auto mall on Elmhurst Rd! I called ahead to get a quote for an oil change if I brought my own oil and filter, which I was told depended on the vehicle (mine was $30). Spoke with Rafael right when they opened and he was very sweet and told me to come on in right now. Whole process was pretty standard, my tire pressure was checked and adjusted as needed same with windshield wiper fluid etc. whole process took less than 20 mins and I was very satisfied! BE AWARE of so called "discounted" price on Groupon. Groupon offered $45 for synthetic oil but the owner ended up charging me $70 in total! I did not purchase from Groupon when I visited the store, but I should have done so. I showed the owner what the Groupon price was. The owner asked to match the Groupon price which I did him a favor. I believe he would have to pay extra transaction fee with Groupon. Not sure if I was a new customer or I'm a girl that doesn't seem tough enough, the owner kept adding fees on top of Groupon price. On the receipt, I found him charging me another $7 for "nothing" manually!! From Groupon review, I 100% agree another customer said that "he always charges more if you are not a Mexican and he always find reasons to charge you." Such a dishonest business!!! About 10 minutes after leaving my car with these folks to do my oil change, I was sitting in the waiting room when I was summoned by the mechanic doing my oil change. He took me to my car and showed a problem. What he showed me was the oil drain plug that was stripped. He asserted that it must have been done by the previous mechanic who did my oil change and it would take him more time to remove it. I had driven that car for over two years since my last oil change; through rain, snow, salty slush, etc. and yet that stripped drain plug was shiny silver as if it had just been stripped. Out of fear of him pissing in my gas tank, I just pretended to believe him - as embarrassing it was for me being in the presence of someone who thinks I'm such a fool. Sure enough I was charged $10 extra for that drain plug. I can imagine how clever he must think he is to have gotten some extra taco money out of me. I suppose he thinks I'll be back for my next oil change and that I'd give him a good Yelp review too. read more

Just a heads up you're not paying any less for same service you can get elsewhere: they top off fluids, and check everything the same as any other oil place even tho they say they are over $30 because they do "more" with your car. OK, This is no longer the not name of this company at this location. It use to be but there was some kind of name enfringment thing, so the name was changed to Costa Oil, anyway ,Went there and have been going there for years although this time I noticed the service tech. never looked for any grease fittings. Most cars in the past 15 years or so don't have any , but I have replaced parts so I know mine does and informed the tech of that. He said ,rudely , they didn't make my car with any grease fittings... I and I said "I know that but , I also know I have replaced parts" and "it does so please lift it back up". I Never witness such an attitude from this place before !! He raised the car , then proceeded to ask me where these "so called grease fittings were!!" so I showed them to him . He was traken back that I was right and continued that attitude at the cash register . I asked him why he was acting like that and he said again that they didn't make these cars with them. So I said I knew that but "I also told you the car was 12 years old and know I replaced parts ". He even got more rude and I told him I've been going to that location when it was Payless Express almost 30 years ago and never been treated with such contempt in my life. He just told me to leave as I told him "I will never come back " and he told me "good". The name of this company now is "Costa Oil " 10 min. oil change on Elmhurst Rd in Mt. Came here for the first time based off the reviews and I am very happy I came. And even as a bonus got a yelp deal $75 voucher for $50. I had Rafael help me and explain every single detail of the oil service. He brought me over to the car and showed me the horrible conditions of my oil/filter and how the oil plug was stripped and glue was applied. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely come here for my next service. I felt very comfortable and confident I was getting the best service. Awful service and very rude. They did not seem to really know what is going on. I took my car here and received very rude service and comments from Raphael. Then I tried renting a uhaul from them and was told they didn't have any and couldn't do it even though I had a reservation. I valued uhaul ego contacted them and straightened it out.
