This place is close to Waterford so a good location if you're taking a tour there or doing some shopping in the town. I ordered an Americano and the salmon toast. Coffee was good, food looked beautiful but tasted just okay. Instead of a traditional Benedict sauce they do an avocado sauce which was SUPER lemony and overpowered the rest of the dish in my opinion. I also took a piece of the carrot cake for 3.5 euro as take away which was probably the best thing I had from here. Service was not as friendly as many of the other small cafes I've visited in Ireland which was disappointing since this place is very charming inside. I'd recommend for a quick coffee and cake but have your breakfast or lunch elsewhere.

They also carry hot chocolate. The baked goods looked amazing-cakes, scones, brownies, rice crispy treats. I had to stay away! they also have retail coffee. Come get some!

You feel like it's the 1940s especially with how the large room is decorated and service staff are dressed. Candles burning & fresh flowers on the table. Lots of different homemade cakes & cupcakes to choose from too. Saw a 30th Bday party being held in private room. A must visit while in Waterford.

Why have I not come here before!?…read more Dropped in for a veggie breakfast for myself, and a mini Irish for my missus. First, the service. PERFECT. So friendly and welcoming! Second, the food. I like my fried eggs a particular way (cooked to death), that I often get a 'hmph' about - not here! No problem, and done perfect! [Also, the homemade brown toast was gorgeous] Third, the music. Not mad loud, could enjoy it, but still have a chat, AND an 80's playlist! Then, to top it - the lady waiting our table is one of the owners, the lady who took our order the other owner - and the husbands made our food! A PROPER family business! 100% recommend, 1000% will be back.
