Love this place. Outside seating is very relaxed on a covered deck. Parking is available on site. The inside is a more refined, with dim lighting and plenty of seating. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. I was able to choose my snapper from a display on ice and it was at market value so the price was provided as she weighed the snapper I chose. Love that transparency in price and I chose the size of fish. The grilled octopus was amazing, vibrant in flavor and appearance. Came here for dinner and was excited to try it out. The place looked nice from outside. Had outdoor seating, the lighting looked very inviting. Sat down and ordered the chorizo fundido and was a little disappointed because the chips broke as soon as they hit the cheese and could not scoop anything up. I highly recommend a spoon with this dish. We also ordered the churrasco which unfortunately tasted great but was cooked rare instead of medium well. So my meat was super red. I very rarely give 5 stars but the food here was phenomenal and the service was excellent. Our waiter Emmanuel was fantastic. Very kind, clear, and attentive. We ordered the 10 oz churrasco and the filete de mero with ajillo sauce. We got rice and beans with both and also ordered a side salad for just $1 extra. Both dishes were amazing but special shoutout to the churrasco which was cooked to perfection. I saw in the reviews that the food takes a while to come out. We came on a Friday at around 1:30-2:00 pm and our food came out in 20 min or so. The food is amazing, reasonably priced, and well worth it so maybe plan to come a little before or after meal rush time if long wait times bother you. All in all, 10/10 recommend. read more

I ordered the vegetable mofungo and this was the first time I've had this dish. It looked and tasted good to me. Unfortunately, this dish was not vegetarian. I did ask the waitress and she confirmed that it didn't have any meat, but there was a language barrier. Vegetarians beware! There were pork rinds in this dish. Delicious! We were guided here by a very kind hearted gentleman from Manatí. We ordered the Arroz Volao; pollo, churrasco , Amarillos, y queso fundido)...(rice with chicken, skirt steak, sweet plantain and melted cheese). This dish is overflowing with food and we remarked that it would serve a table of four... so I'll start there! This was incredibly delicious. The chicken was moist and juicy and the steak was too! The tostones for dipping and the melted cheese throughout the beautifully flavored rice made for a meal I will remember for a long time. We started the meal with cheese filled pastelillos that were perfectly flaky and crispy on the outside and cheesy and gooey on the inside. We also ordered bolitas de mofongo (plantain fritters). Steak, which we requested medium rare, came out as hard, over-salted shoe leather. Fish was clearly made from frozen fillets. Side salads were made with iceberg lettuce, pinkish alien tomatoes, and some pinkish dressing. Not a strong suit, clearly. Servers were very nice as are most Puerto Ricans. It started good. We were customers of this restaurant for years. We were a party of three, two adults and one young adult. We were sitted quickly, within 10 minutes of arrival. The waitress took about 15 minutes to get to our table. We ordered a grilled octopus as an appetizer and our three main courses. The octopus was hard and could not be chewed. We called the waitress to remove the plate and explained that it was not properly cooked. The waitress took the plate back and after a few minutes came back to tell us that he tasted the octopus we returned and that it was his opinion that it tasted good and for that reason he would not remove the appetizer from our bill. We then asked for the manager to clear this up. The owner took over 10 minutes to get to our table. By the time he arrived to our table, one of the main courses had arrived. We asked the waitress to take it back until we talked to the manager. When he arrived we explained what had happened and told him that the approach of the waitress was not the best. He stated that we were not going to be charged for the appetizzer but that we were making him damage by returning the plates instead of taking them to go and not eating on the restaurant. Then he proceeded to call the waitress to our table to repremend him in front of us and everyone else. We asked him not to do this in front of us, that it was in bad taste to correct someone in public. We asked for the check so we could leave and eat somewhere else. The owner then asked us to leave the restaurant and another employee threatened us with calling security. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant because of the owners lack of manners which I can only assume resonates on the staff. read more
