Just Brittney the owner works there. It was so relaxing that when I tired to get off the table I had a hard time b/c I was so relaxed from my 90 min facial. I am glad she had walked out b/c I am sure I might have looked intoxicated. Brittney was calm, cool and collected with such a soft voice and touch. She was friendly and kind. My skin looks amazing today. I had not had a facial in quite a few years. I also liked that she didn't try to upsell me or pressure me into buying products. She does have them available but I was not given the normal sales speeches a lot of places give you, which to me is a plus. I have already told my friends about her place who live in other cities in middle TN and they want to come do a spa day with me at Advanced Skin. Brittney, I loved my facial and getting to know you. My face/skin feels great. I will def be back for more treatments from you! Thank you so much! P.S. she also gave me the cutest little cup with Valentine Candy in it and spa bucks for future services.

Definitely recommend this place if someone wants to try Sugaring and all Sugaristas are well trained, professional and make you feel comfortable. Sugaring will be new norm soon! I had been looking for organic hair color and products for quite some time and came across Bei…read moreCapelli Salon. Owner Karen seriously changed my hair! She is very knowledgeable about styles that best fit you, and she uses organic hair products, which have made all the difference! They don't burn when she puts them on, and I don't leave with a headache or sinus congestion, which I used to get with regular hair color. I have very thick, course hair, and being in my mid-50s, I have quite a bit of gray as well, but her hair color product works great and covers the gray amazingly well! I highly recommend Karen at Bei Capelli!!

I've been here for 2 years and after reading in particular the poor reviews... felt the need to share my experiences. This studio is such a comfortable and safe place. They have complimentary drinks and have comfortable seating when waiting. The rooms are nice and clean with a comfortable bed. Especially if you are getting more than one area waxed. All of the staff are welcoming, considerate of your needs, and polite. Concerning the negative reviews, no I have never been offered incentive to leave a good review. They let you look and give you a mirror to check if there are any hairs left on your body. If you see some speak up. I had a time, not with Micah, where I saw some hair and the esthetician was more than happy to wax that area. Pain? Seriously, it's a wax and they do hurt. Everyone's pain tolerance is different but they are in no control over your pain. Overall, I recommended this studio to many of my friends who have told me that they thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Not everyone's experience is the same, but I couldn't be happier with this studio and Micah.

They're always in a rush, when I get my nails done it's to relax and enjoy. The last straw was when I told them I wanted short oval nails. They said sure & to come on back. They put the whole set on, started to shape them and then said this is as short as we can go. Which was not short AT ALL. I argued a bit, because before I sat down, I showed them a picture and how short I wanted them & they said they could do what was in the pic! But to put on the whole set, THEN to say, nope can't do that?! Noooottttt cool. I'm done.

This review is about Salon Blonde SOUTH in Columbia. I had an all-around exceptional salon…read moreexperience! Lovely space with tons of natural light, a genuine welcome from the front desk gal, an exactly-on-time appointment, and great color. I'm a recent transplant, and am so happy to have found my first local self-care service! My stylist, LAUREN MOSLEY, is simply fantastic. As a blonde, it can be especially difficult communicating in the same language as your stylist regarding tone and color (it's always smart to bring photo reference!), but Lauren asked all the right questions, made sure she was clear in her understanding of what I wanted, and even gave me an estimated price before beginning. Not only all that, but she's a really calm, warm, and kind human being and a pleasure to chat with. I was not her only client during my appointment, but she juggled perfectly and I was never waiting for her to "come back". She humorously called it doing "hair traffic control". Yes, like all salons these days, they do try to up-sell additional services/products, but of course that's how they make extra money. Just say no thanks if you're not interested.
