I had been researching curly cuts in my area and decided to make an appointment with Rebecca…read more It turned out to be a mistake. First of all, when I got to the shop for my appointment, Rebecca was not there yet. Another stylist told me that Rebecca had two appointments the week before that she never showed up for. She did show up, late, and rushed around to get set up. She then rushed through my cut. It was the worst haircut I ever had. She put me under a dryer and when my hair was dry, she did not style it. I left there with frizzy, dry curls. She seemed rude, and talked about herself the entire appointment. I would not recommend her and I would rate her a zero if that were an option. I went to my regular stylist to have it re-cut. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to cut your curls.

From the minute I was seated in the chair I was made to feel that it was an inconvience for the staff that I walked through the door. The first words spoke to me were, " you have a lot of hair and you will be here for at least two hours for a cut and color." I replied confirming I understood it would take a while and that was ok with me. The employee looked frustrated as if she hoped I wouldn't have my hair done. She walks away, comes back and tells me we will have to do a strand test for coloring and that will take another hour. Once again I say that's ok. She leaves and comes back again. This time she tells me my hair looks to damaged and she can't do my hair. I leave in total disbelief regarding what just occurred. Point out period, she did not want to do my hair. In 15 years I have NEVER been treated this way at a salon. My hair is just beyond my shoulders and is in healthy condition. The reason I know this is because I scheduled another hair appointment at a different salon and I asked about the condition of my hair. The stylist told me your hair is in pretty good condition and just needed a trim. I got colored n cut as I always do and left another salon very happy. As a business owner I treat every customer as if they are the single most important person. Sorry for the long post but this salon needs revamped in regards to their staffing. I WOULD NEVER GIVE THIS SALON A DIME OF MY MONEY. Please take my post into consideration before choosing this salon.

I've had Maggie, Ashley, & Ashley Frank in the past & left very pleased every time! This morning I went in for an updo (for anniversary pictures later in the day). The updo by Ashley Frank was $55 before t&t. Totally worth not having to stress over making my hair look good for pics in this summer heat! She rocked this updo! During Covid the salon requires all guests & staff to wear masks & only except card payments at this time. Staff sprayed & wiped down stations between every client. I made an appointment & was instructed to call from my car upon appointment arrival. Overall I've been very pleased with this salon for a number of years. From a client perspective, over the last year since the transition to the new Cost Cutters name, it feels that not much has changed! Which is wonderful news as I've been very pleased with this salon location & staff!

The job gets done, but you kind of feel like a second class citizen. I've literally been asked to vacate a chair during a scheduled "couples massage" at one area salon. Hammer & Nails sets the tone, the moment you walk in. Greeted at the door and immediately offered to hang my jacket. Quick to inform they are membership based so there's no confusion. Clean contemporary barbershop/salon area that leads to a lounge with a bar or the "man cave" - a dark, moody room where they offer treatments like the pedicure I had scheduled. There's also a cigar room and a large patio with poker table. TVs come with remote so you can change to whatever you'd like. Headsets available, as well. The pedicure was 4/5. I was a big fan of the paraffin wax. My feet spend a lot of time in work boots, so they appreciate the relaxing massage and warm dip that follows. I don't cut my toenails flat across, prefer rounded. Tia was very personable and friendly, wish she'd have asked how I preferred they be trimmed. But that's my only complaint. Behavior like this is soooooo unacceptable and unprofessional. I tried to be nice, she had a bunch of people in her salon when I was finished, I thought I was doing the right thing by not embarrassing her or causing any type of awkwardness for her in her business. I messaged her the next day (as I went straight to my family xmas from the salon). I guess 24 hours is too long to wait to advise I was unhappy. As you see the conversation, I asked her nicely, I gave examples/proof, and I guess herego or emotions or just lack of maturity got the better half of her.
