3 starts is generous. We loved the old Cosse's. Staff was very nice. We ordered the sautéed crab claws. At the old place they came out in their sauce. These arrived on their "plates". They had good flavor, but were overcooked which made them dry. We did the fresh catch (times 2) and shrimp platter. It was the platter with 3 choices. Everything was quite brown. Although the coating was well done, the shrimp was good. The fish was just heavily fried. It all tasted the same. The fries were good. Everything was piping hot. Vibe is not the same as old place. Bar noise is pretty loud. It isn't the Cosse's we loved, flavors and atmosphere are off.

If there's a zero star option, that'd be it! I went to this restaurant to eat dinner & noticed rats, cockroaches & filth inside & outside. The food is good but I seen pictures of where they fried a cockroach with someone's food. The cooks make food differently every time I've been there & the servers are rude. The bartenders have always pushed drinks on people & try to get customers drunk (the owner of the restaurant sat at the bar; falling over, extremely intoxicated.)

Met for dinner on Friday night in this Pace establishment. Super friendly folks, large porch area and nice Cajun decor. Lots of fried food options and plenty of seafood to choose from. Handmade dressings and hand breaded crab claws. Yummmmmm....all 4 of us had very tasty dishes.....maybe a hint high priced but I will say its worth it....gonna stop in again to check out the bar area.

So glad it was open on Thanksgiving . We sat at the bar and they kindly put the Bears game on! (Don't judge ). Britney was awesome and had a fun festive turkey hat (it's the little things). The gumbo balls were very filling. My daughter loved the crab claws and oyster trio. They have a couple local beers which I appreciated.

Best muffaletta I've had in long time. Go on Tuesday night and play bingo while you eat.

Excellent food; true Cajun cuisine we had the fried crab claws, and a half Muffaletta, with Jumbulia side. Delicious!

If you have seen my reviews before I usually try to write about pros and cons so let's dive in. Pros: Not being from there area, I was a bit intimidated coming in, but Gabriel, behind the counter immediately greeted me as I walked through the door. Service was fast and hones. What do I mean by that, you might ask?!? I wanted to grab 10lbs boil to go, and he told me right away that there will be a fresh batch coming soon, and the one that was in the cooler was near its end. He told me if I wanted fresh it would be just a 15 min wait. The wait was well worth it. Juicy, spicy, and do NOT, I repeat do NOT forget the garlic butter! Talking the icing on top of the cake. The garlic butter definitely provided the balance to the whole meal. Since I had to wait, I got the opportunity to see what the locals were ordering. Two items I notice were on repeat. The boudin sausage and alligator sausage. So you know I had to get both. The boudin, for me, was different, but I can tell you there is no trace of it left. Talk about "get in my belly"!!! Cons: Yes, as much as I graciously gave the pro of the food , there is a con. It's a personal preference con though, so take it or leave it, for sure it is my personal opinion. I was not a fan of the alligator sausage. Now hear me out, I understand alligator is an acquired taste, but in my case, I ate the boudin sausage first, and the texture was somewhat similar. For that reason, I did not like it. If I'm going to basically order the same thing I would rather just order two boudin sausage where I know the flavor of the boudin is 10x better. Overall, get the crawfish with garlic butter and definitely do NOT forget the boudin sausage! One last pro, I am about 2 hours from this location. I brought it home and it still tasted amazing! I hope enjoy a much as I did!
